The service is completely worth the 15% fee. Returned some trainers to Japan after being hit with hefty import fees and so glad I did as duty refunds made the process easy. Communication was great I was updated along the way - it’s not a quick process but that’s more to do with them having to deal with HMRC. All I provided was a fedex tracking number and some basic details and they took care of everything else, amazing!

They make the process really easy and take a reasonable cut.

Legit website. I provided them info on my specific case and all I had to do was wait. Took about a month or so to get my refund back to me. First time I've ever tried a website like this and it was all buttery smooth. I recommend you use them if you don't have the knowledge or wanting to do any paperwork. Duty refunds were very easy to deal with from the application process all the way to a successful tax refund. I would have no hesitation in using them in the future.

I purchased pair of shoes from Italy, but had to return them. I didn’t want to deal directly with tax return, so opted for this service. I submitted application on 13 February and got my refund today. Process was very straightforward and commission fee is also reasonable. I would definitely recommend this website for similar situations as mine.

I purchased a watch from a Norwegian supplier that turned out to be defective. The price I paid included the import duty, but the refund I was due would exclude this amount. I had almost written the duty element off when I came across Duty Refunds (while trying to understand how I could claim the duty back myself). Long story short, I don't think you can do it yourself as quickly and cost effectively as these guys handle your claim. Everything from the initial enquiry to the final pay-out was handled superbly. Fantastic communication every step of the way. I would recommend Duty Refunds in a heartbeat.

What a great service!! Needed to claim a few hundred pounds back in VAT and duty for a Tag watch I purchased and then subsequently returned in the EU.
