Excellent Install of new windows!
I would thoroughly recommend DX Home Improvements, great job from start to finish. Everyone I met or spoke with were friendly, helpful and informative from Henry who came out and gave a quick no nonsense quote to Debbie who kept me up to date with the order, fitting and final sign off and Craig and Corrie the fitters, punctual, polite, friendly and of course done a brilliant job and tidied up after. Excellent job!

Due to inclement weather the fitters had to cancel twice. Blocked roads and very icey conditions in Aberdeenshire Debbie who I liaised with kept me informed and eventually a new date was set and they arrived a week later. The fitters came from Glasgow Joe and Craig were a great duo very efficient and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend

Excellent materials, well-organised, very professional and polite, beautiful work , very satisfied with the final result. Will definitely call them again for more work.

Had my kitchen fitted just over 1 year ago and the flooring is cracking due to not being fitted appropriately. Contacted the company back in sept and they sent out one of their workers to evaluate and was told they would get back to me. I waited and waited no phone call so called them to chase up. Was told they would call back. They didnt. Called again and was promised they would call back. They didnt. I have chased this company numerous times since sept only to be ignored and fobbed off. I spent £12k on the kitchen and now left with a flooring not fitted correctly and cracks everywhere. I find the aftercare absolutely disgusting and being ignored. Aftwr telling them on my last call in December i would be contacting trading standards if the matter doesnt get resolved as they had been told the flooring needs replaced. They still ignored me so now in touch with trqding standards.

Just had two living room windows and a new front door done. Firstly communications from the company before install were great.

Terrible company. My partner ordered a garden room. It was smaller than the one she ordered. It was a different design than what she ordered. Everything was supposed to be included and once they had the deposit the goal posts changed. Even their staff were shaking their heads at the lack of communication. They seemed great until they had recieved a large deposit and it was a different story afterwards. Full of promise but in the end full of something else.
The reviews seem to be questionable also. We put a bad review on google after they eventually took the wrong garden room down. Afterwards they would not give the deposit back unless we took the bad review down and we refused. My partner took the matter further and after alot of aggravation and stress eventually they had no choice other than to give the money back. Since then my partner has been contacted again to take the reviews down and has also been contacted by the platforms she posted the reviews on saying DX has been in contact and there has been a mistake that these reviews are for a different company. I would personally avoid DX at all cost.

I hope trust pilot checks out the authenticity of these positive reviews especially after the recent events.

I have experienced bad companies but DX are the worst yet.

Had my windows and door done and I couldn’t be happier. The fitters were amazing really professional, tidy, and did a great job.
Darcey was brilliant and put me completely at ease from the start. There was no long sales speech or pressure at all, which I really appreciated. Everything was explained clearly and honestly.
Would 100% recommend this company.

I’ve had a few quotes and jobs completed by dx home improvements each one has been by far cheaper than other competitors, Every job was finished on time to an extremely high standard and come highly recommended by myself and other business partners. Angela was super easy to work with as were the contractors, top job guys!

Just had my French doors fitted by this company. From the sales office to the fitters it all went very smoothly and such a fantastic service. Will definitely use them again.

The team fitting the new windows and doors were professional, friendly, and very respectful of our home. The workmanship is excellent, and the quality of the windows and doors has made a big difference already. Everything was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DX Home Improvements to anyone looking for reliable service and great results. Also booked to get patio doors in the new year.

Avoid this company.
Riddled with drug money and built on the back of misery in our communities. Sean Paul Brown and David Stevens have both been charged and appeared in court today in connection with organised crime relating to heroin being sold in our communities.
They present themselves as businessmen, but the reality is far from that. This information is publicly available and can be found on Google as proof.
Do your own research before supporting this company.

Start to finish, very easy interactions. Sales guy - punctual and informative, no waffling, no push. Was having windows and patio doors fitted, replacements for old, original windows. All was explained well, samples to choose from etc - easy process. Window fitters - again, bang on time and I just left them to it. Everything was spot on my return, and the door was fitted about 36 hours later - two doors that open out instead of sliding, and it looks amazing. House is also immediately noticably much warmer so I couldn't have picked a better time of year to do it really! :-D

Had Darcey out from dx Home Improvements she was very professional, knowledgeable and there was absolutely no hard sales. The whole process was easy from start to finish. The fitters were great, worked cleanly, and the windows look amazing. Really impressed and would definitely recommend.

**BE VERY AWARE THEY USE CONTRACTORS**

Still in dispute with 7 windows and 2 doors, no blinds on my windows since March due to the issues and I have had to result to ADR, just some highlights below:

1. Attention to Detail:

There were multiple instances of missing glazing packers across several windows, which could potentially affect the long-term stability and operation of the units. Some fixings were either not visible or not installed according to best practice, raising concerns about compliance with industry standards.

Several side or downward fixings missing or not visible, need to be confirmed if they are to BS 8213-4 standard.

2. Cosmetic Finish:

The internal finish left much to be desired. There was excessive use of silicone in many places, and some trims were damaged or poorly fitted. Wide trims were used to cover existing marks, which, while common, did not result in the neatest appearance. A few windows had visible screws or drilled holes, which should have been properly concealed or repaired.

3. Alignment and Tolerances:

A number of windows and doors had alignment issues, with some frames and reveals outside the ideal tolerance. For example, the front door exceeded the recommended plumb and level by more than 5mm, and some windows had noticeable height differences or uneven reveals. Door also need further investigation to see if they are to standard

From the first meeting your rep Darcey was very informative and answered all our question's before making our choice.The two fitter's Brad and Luke had problems taking out the old windows however this was carried out without any fuss and made an excellant job fitting the new windows.We are both very happy with the new windows.Good job D.X.

Asked for a quote for replacement Patio doors for our 4th floor terrace. Excellent understanding of our requirements from Raymond, who really listened to our needs rather than just provide a quote then go.
Installation team lead by Jim + 2 others were excellent, prep work and fit-out made all the difference. Only 1 issue over dates which was resolved in a positive way. Delighted with the sliding doors, Good price. would definitely recommend DX Home improvement, and thanks again to Raymond.
