I have had 3 air source heat pump…
I have had 3 air source heat pump systems install in properties next door to other.
Each install was differently done when they should have been the same.
Even the MMSP package was different in each property.
One of the heat pumps looked like it had fallen of the back of a lorry, dented, bent. After much argument the pump was swapped.
During install the hot water was damaged
I have had the plumbers and electricians back serval time for various faults due to incorrect installation.
At one point I had to in contact with hitachi to get heat pump fixed as Dynamis would not talk to me.
The installation looks a mess as it is made of various parts from different suppliers instead of a fully plumbed cylinder which is more professional looking and easy/quick to install.
Like other reviewers they are quick to take your money and then you don’t get any after sales support, no one reply’s to emails or phone calls.
Saying that last week I had to call them out as the system stopped working, no heating or hot water.
When the plumber was here he identified more issues with the installation and was going to someone to contact me
It’s now been over a week without anyone contacting me or replying to my emails.
Ups and downs, installation team brilliant
There were frustrations initially with communication, but eventually we did get everything installed and working properly. All of the electricians and engineers who did the work were amazing, Great communication from them directly, and they did a brilliant job when they installed.
Feels like there were lots of supply issues but better communication from Dynamis itself would have made the whole process a lot smoother.

My experience with this company has been terrible…
Like many people here my experience with this company has been terrible. On the day of my scheduled installation, the installer showed up and informed me that my roof was made of metal, not tiles as expected which was not picked up by them in their survey. They said they would reschedule the installation for a later date, as different rails were needed. However, despite numerous attempts to contact them via phone and email, I received no response. I was able to get through to someone just once, and was given another installation date, but no one showed up. The scaffolding that was put up for the original installation date is still in place, over a month later. I would give zero or negative stars if I can.
I paid a deposit of more than £2000 and feel like I have been taken advantage of. I would advise others to avoid this company. I am considering taking the matter to the ombudsman or even to court.
Update: 2023
I wanted to provide an update to my previous review. Although my experience with this solar panel company was terrible at first, they have finally gotten back to me and refunded the full deposit, including the survey fees. I appreciate that they took the time to rectify the situation and follow through on their commitment to refund me. It's important to acknowledge when a company takes responsibility for their mistakes and works to make things right. While my initial experience was frustrating, I appreciate the effort that was made to resolve the issue. Thank you to the company for making things right in the end.

Install team were amazing. Communication from Dynamis was poor
The team who came to install the system were brilliant. Helpful, friendly, communicative and efficient. Could not fault them and am very grateful for their work.
We were repeatedly rebooked due to shortage of parts which I fully understand. However, communication of cancellations was very poor and I had to take several days leave as no one informed us the original dates were cancelled. This was very frustrating and we had scaffolding up for a considerable length of time.
The rating I have given is based on the team who installed our panels on the day. They were the saving grace of the whole experience.

Excellent service!
Although the appointment had to be rearranged due to various reasons, I was kept well informed. On the day they were due, the van with the equipment was here before 7am, so that when the installers arrived at 7.50 there was no hold up. The panels were up by 10am and the electrician was finished by noon, amazing neat work by all. All the crew were friendly, polite, efficient and great to have around! Dynamis, has an excellent team with these men.
Panels in place
Initially I was very frustrated by how difficult it was to get to speak to one of your team - calls back were not made. However, the service provided by Courtney, who I think sensed my anxiety that the job was done on the agreed date changed that. I appreciate very much the fact that Courtney sorted out the scaffolding which I think might have not been booked?
On the day of installation the electricians were here at 8.00 am and worked hard through a long and very cold day and were pleasant to have around the house. The panels etc were delivered in good time and the installers, again, worked hard and efficiently. All in all the 5 workers made a good team and we are pleased with the result. The only issue is that the electricians could not get the Solis App to work - despite staying late to try to do this.

A competent contractor using skilled engineers
Dynamis have selected very professional and courteous fitters, roofers and electricians who have carried out excellent work on our installation. The Dynamis team have struggled due to the global supply of components and it has taken time to complete the installation but at every point we have been happy with the process and have trust in them.

Roof damaged and impossible to talk to anyone
All was going well until the week before installation, scaffolders didn't turn on agreed date, then turned up unannounced and damaged the roof - that was last Monday - impossible to get to talk to anyone - finally got an email someone would come on Friday to fix the roof - no one showed up rung and emailed multiple times and no response - still waiting for a call - my advice avoid - worst customer experience I've ever had. Still have a damaged roof and no sign of any action from the company SPUK250746

terrible customer service
I ordered panels through the scheme run by my local authority. The sales guy was nice, I didn't feel pressured. Since I paid it's all gone downhill - and note they don't accept credit cards so you pay at your own risk. Installation date poorly communicated including to the scaffolders; part installed with scaffolding left up and no word of when they'll finish; calls not returned. Really no one there seems to care at all. They know they're working for a company that's managed to alienate customers. I can't recommend this lot at all.

Terrible Customer experience…
I must sadly echo the recent experience of the other reviewers. When you get to talk to the team they are well informed and professional, but they have obviously over stretched themselves and are missing appointments and not replying to any calls or emails.
- The initial survey was booked but no-one showed up. It took 3 phone calls and an email before I got to talk to someone who was able to rebook.
- Following a successful survey visit we had a follow up call from their design team who were able to offer very good advice and the install date was booked and deposit paid.
- No-one showed up for the installation with no communication from the company. I’ve left numerous messages for the installation team to call back and emailed with no response back to date.
- The Customer Services complaints phone number goes to voicemail.
We’re left in limbo. I would advise prospective customers to avoid this company.

Having read many of the other negative…
Having read many of the other negative reviews I can only add to them. My experience has been so similar; the installation period started on 18 October, then postponed. A day of work when the electrical work was partially installed. Roofers went away as there was insufficient scaffolding. Further scaffolding erected. 2 visits from fitters, the first time couldn’t complete as parts were incorrect. They managed to find correct pieces and returned only to find further parts missing. The panels blocked my garden shed and I had to move them myself (aged 76). Since then had an installation date scheduled but not confirmed by text and today am waiting to see if anything happens. This has been going on for 6 weeks and has become the joke of the road. Certainly no one else will use them, which in the present problematic energy supply situation is hugely disappointing. The major issue throughout has been lack of communication. The actual workmen have been good but let down by the ‘back office’.

My experience has been exactly like…
My experience has been exactly like Ben's (see below). I am with Solar Together and paid my initial deposit on 4 May. They appeared to be quite efficient at first, although it was difficult to get answers to my questions. I was eventually able to pay my deposit to Dynamis on 23 August. I was told there was a shortage of optimisers so the panels couldn't be installed for a while. There were constant delays and dates fixed and moved at short notice before the panels were finally installed on 6 October without the optimisers. I very much regret that I allowed myself to be pressurised into paying the full balance because I've now been waiting 7 weeks for the optimisers to be installed and the scaffolding removed. I live in a semi-detached so it is annoying for my neighbour too. I can never get any information over the phone or responses to emails. They just take a message and promise a call back which never happens. I am beginning to feel quite desperate.

A horrendous company to deal with.
We signed on via Solar Together to have Dynamis do an installation for us. We were interested in getting a battery storage installed since we already have solar panels and a car charger. We had a survey done on the 22/08/2022. During the survey, we informed the surveyor that we wanted the batteries installed in the garage and showed them where we would like it installed, to which I was told it would not be an issue at all and the only thing necessary was to run a cable from the garage to our inverter about two rooms over on the other side of the house. I hired a property maintenance contractor to remove our dog shower, which was in the place where we wanted the batteries installed.
On 14/11/2022, the technician (who I presumed to be a contractor) showed up with the batteries to install them. I showed them where we wanted them installed (in the garage), at which point they informed me that it would be impossible to do without extensive rewiring and it was not factored into our installation. At that point they attempted unsuccessfully to get a hold of someone in charge to explain the situation. I tried to do the same and failed to get a hold of anyone relevant to the issue. I was informed by the receptionist that I would receive a call back as soon as possible. After a bit of back and forth with the technician, I resigned to let the installation happen in a location I didn't want, because at least we'd have our batteries and the whole ordeal sorted. Our inverter was replaced with a new one and the batteries were installed.
The batteries charged overnight on cheap rates, but upon inspecting our system, it was clear that our solar panels were not generating anything whenever it was sunny. We called Dynamis again on 15th, 16th and 17th, multiple times a day sometimes. We were informed by receptionists after being on hold for a bit, that they were unable to get a hold of anyone relevant to our issue. They informed us that we would be called back as soon as possible. On the final call we made on the 17th, I informed them that we would hire someone else to fix the problem and take the cost of that repair out on them. They promised to move our case up to urgent and we would get a call back. Again, a call never came. We called multiple times on Friday the 18th of November 2022, to the same schtick. Being put on hold and then being told that they were unable to get a hold of anyone.
Come Monday, I will call a different company to replace or fix the problem we have. I’ll either forward bill to Dynamis or get a chargeback on the deposit. If and when that is sorted, I’ll forward my issues in the direction of trading standards.
I should note that everyone I have spoken to, including the installation technician have all been professional and respectful. It is clear however, that this company has either bitten off more than it can chew or, is incapable on following through on anything. I would 100% not recommend Dynamis for anything, as the company has proven to be absolutely inept. If you’re interested in going green via any combination of solar panels, batteries, and car chargers, I would recommend reputable and trusted companies local to your area.
[edit/amendment made on the 18th of January 2023 follows below]
It took a lot of doing but all my problems were finally sorted, and while the operations manager got with me personally, the whole debacle has left a sour taste in my mouth. I still cannot recommend the company based on my experience, and the only reason I will ever contact them again is to take advantage of my guarantee/warranty. That is, if the company is still around. I should note again that this not a review of people that work at Dynamis, everyone I communicated with was professional and courteous. This is a review of the company.

Extremely poor service and communication
Extremely poor service and communication.
After the efficient initial survey and design, I paid my deposit. Since then, it has been like dealing with a different company:
- installation twice cancelled at short notice,
- Dynamis unable to confirm a third installation date, even days beforehand (despite a potential date having been agreed),
- Dynamis unable to confirm when scaffolding might go up,
- despite 16 calls, I have never been able to get through to anyone past switchboard and, despite assurances each time, no-one has ever called back,
- I have been unable to get through to the complaints line (!),
- the complaints department has not replied to an email.
These are not simply supply issues - this is an incompetent level of service and communication and I am losing confidence in the company altogether.

zero communication poor coordination of sub contractors
our 7 panel/battery system was partially installed 2 weeks ago - final panel could not be fitted because scaffolding was insufficient. The spare panel was leant against a fence in the back yard and the guys said they would return in a few days. Panel is now damaged because it was hurled over in a high wind one night. Have emailed 3 or 4 times and phoned nearly every day about what the plan for completion rectification . Messages are taken but nobody returns the call. I am wondering about what point we find another firm to complete the work. We have only paid 25% of the bill as yet.

Excellent Electricians & Fitters
We were very pleased with the work of Tony Beckett and his team when they installed our Solar panels. They were punctual, efficient, professional and friendly.
The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because communication was not always good, with Dynamis sometimes not returning our calls. But the electricians and fitters were excellent.

Reply from Dynamis
Aren't we allowed to leave no stars?
I hate leaving bad reviews and will gladly remove this one if ever my system is made to work.
I had my new 6.8kwh battery fitted ( I already had the panels ) on the 21st September by 2 cheery chaps from a company subcontracted by Dynamis, who presumably can't be bothered.
However, it was immediately apparent to me that the system was not working as it should be.
Every unit generated by the sun was going via my meter and I was being charged for it
I contacted Dynamis and asked them to come back and check that it was all connected up properly.
Which they did.
They decided it was all correct but couldn't explain the alarmingly rising bills.
It was unfortunately a rather sunny few weeks!
I rang Dynamis and asked them to come again and check it again.
They sent one of the original fitters on the 21st October.
He also decided it was all correctly fitted but couldn't explain why it wasn't working properly.
I couldn't stand any more of the stress, and the added 209 units on my bill in the 3 weeks since installation, so I asked him to disconnect the system.
Which he did.
So at that point I was back to how I had been before the installation, but £1500 poorer.
The electrician left here with a plan to find out if the app was to blame, or whether it would be a good
idea to take out the inverter, and batteries if necessary, and start again basically.
I left it a week before contacting Dynamis again, inquiring if there was any progress in my case and. got no reply.
Since then I have sent 4 emails, to 2 different people at Dynamis ( Mike Wright and someone called Jordan, no other name given ) and text messages to all the fitters, and their supervisor, and got no replies to any of them.
I feel this is very bad customer service.
Some help for me may be being considered but I am not being kept informed.
I feel as if all my messaging is going in their bin.
