TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!
We were renting a car from august 3 to 10 and they called wednesday to bring it back! We paid for 7 days but we could only use it for 3!!! DONT GO THERE TOTAL SCAM!!! THEY ARE SREALING! THEY ASKED FOR OUR BANK ACCONT DETAILS AND WANTED MORE THAN 1500 EUROS FOR NOTHING!! We will contact the police

Do not rent a car from this company. They will add extra charge fees using any excuse. They will not explain you clearly what are the services your are buying and you will end up double booking insurances, etc. They will also try to charge you for previous existing scratches or damages
Also, people at the desk are very unfriendly.

Our car rental experience in Pisa was incredibly frustrating, despite the car itself being fine.

First, the rental company has strange rules — they only allow car rentals if you both arrive and depart from Pisa by air. If you're taking a train, you're forced to buy their extra insurance.

We already had valid insurance through a broker, but they insisted we purchase their own policy for an extra €250. They even cancelled our original booking just to enforce this rule.

After returning the car, they falsely claimed new damage to the front top of the left headlight. We had taken a video at pickup clearly showing this damage was already present. Even their staff acknowledged seeing it in the video — but said it wouldn’t count since it wasn’t in their database. Now they’re threatening to charge us €500 for this false claim.

This was one of the worst rental experiences we’ve had. We hope others think twice before booking here.

We had a really good experience with this company. They were very friendly and helpful. They ensure that any scratches/dents were pointed out on pick up. The car was really good and reliable. No problems we would use them again.

Not in terminal airport collection as claimed, only a short walk but in 30 degrees still a walk outside the terminal. collection team in office very good polite efficient . But be aware when you pick up and return , photograph everything , every minute detail, make sure you get a contact phone number clear in your local language for any problems and confirm they will answer it , make sure the petrol guage is photographed before leaving and again when returned otherwise they claim differently . The service is cheap for a reason , as they make up their money on your return of the vehicle , when your on a plane and back home ....If you have a need for the tyre inflation kit , replace the liquid yourself ( approx 15 euros ) otherwise they charge you 100+ euros for a full kit which is the liquid (15 euros) and the pump which you have anyway .

Terrible experience, complete scam, do not use this company.

Rented a car from Catania Airport in Sicily. We were preasured to take an additional 450€ insurrance with almost threatening that something would happen to the car if we did not.

Still tried to avoid it, but then they simply would not give us the car at all - unless we could pay with a credit card on the exact name of the primary driver, which we do not have. Using a debit card or a credit card on another name was not possible with no explanation given. So after over an hour of quarreling with extremely unfriendly customer service at >30°C we bit into the sour apple and just payed it.

On top we were afterwards charged another 400€ for a tiny scratch we caused in the plastic above one of the wheels. I understand a charge of course but the amount is more than unreasonable and also even the additional insurrence we did not want does leave 500€ retention because **** the customer.

Complete scammer DO NOT USE! Credit card was not accepted even though works, insisted on debit card and then charge for insurance that we had already taken out. I feel we got off light reading other reviews but he really tried to find a scratch. Leaves a bitter feeling about Italy

Our experience resembles everyone else’s. Trying to sell extra insurance when we had already paid for one. Scam re credit/debit card. A sudden microscopic scratch when we returned the car which is costing us 250 eur…
I am so furious to have been scammed like this.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY (ECH Rent a Car -Easy Car Hire). They are scammers and try to make money off of every little thing. We took the car back in great condition and they literally tried to find anything they could to charge us because we didnt accept their insurance policy charge in the beginning. They looked under the car and on top to try to find the slightest scratch. They are pathetic and ridiculous and the irony is that they charged us the same amount as we would have given if we accepted their insurance charge in the beginning. I refuse to pay for this company a cent more. I urge that no one use them as you will be in fear of charge for absolutely anythinhg.

Do not use these guys. In Pisa they gave us a 7 seater which was really beaten up , cracks in the bumper, massive dent down the side. Then when we got back they made out the wear and tear wind scratches were chargeable and a tiny mark on the open door was us. It definitely wasn't but it was dark shen we picked it up and we could not refuse the car as I had 6 people, including 3 tired kids, to get to a villa. On top of that they won't let you pay on one credit card and do the outrageous deposit they want on a different one. The only reason I needed to use two cards in the first place is because, like a chump, I had hired a car from them in zagreb a fortnight before and whilst the contract says the deposit is kept for the duration of the hire, they then reveal its kept for 30 days. Nice little earner on the interest for them I'm sure. The price may tempt you, but learn from our horrible end to our holiday. These guys will screw you for every penny, from the "optional" cleaning fee through the damage you didn't do to the upsell on the insurance.

Scammers!!!! Just received an invoice for €230 for a small scratch on the edge of a passenger door - the scratch is clearly old as is full of dirt and discolouration whereas the rest of the paint work is white. We knew from reading the reviews there would be an issue with this company so when we received the email we were not surprised.
It seems to be a common theme when reading reviews about scratches. We hired a white Toyota Yaris, reg is GX978XN if anyone else experienced issues with this car.

DO NOT HIRE HERE, they lie and make you pay for things you do not need (damages that wasn't your fault, inscurances, different credit cards etc etc). Worst place ever, read other rewies and save your self from all the troubble.

The car itself was perfectly fine.
However, the experience at the service desk during pickup was extremely unpleasant. We were put under heavy pressure to purchase an overpriced insurance package. When we declined, the staff became condescending — mocking us and making us feel ridiculous for not agreeing.

Upon return, we brought the car back without any damage and with a full tank. In fact, we returned it with more range (550 km) than when we received it (500 km). Still, we received an email claiming the tank was only 7/8 full and were charged €65 to "refill" it — a completely unreasonable amount for a small car like a Volkswagen T-Cross.

All in all, a disappointing and untrustworthy rental experience.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE SMALLEST MARK ON THE CAR AND WILL NOT THEN REPAIR THE MARK. I HAVE JUST BEEN CHARGE 200 eURO FOR A SMALL MARK ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE THE FRONT BUMPER WHICH WAS DESCRIBED AS A BAD SCRATCH AT BEST IS WAS A MARK THAT WOULD POSLISH OUT. THE PERSON WHO INSPECTED THE CCAR TOOK 10 MINUTES TO FIND A MARK. HE IS PAID TO FIND LITTLE MARKS ON A CAR WITH LOTS OF LITTLE MARKS. DO NOT USE THEM PAY A LITTLE MORE UPFRONT AND USE A REPUTABLE COMPANY

Booked insurance they refused to accept had to pay again but 20 euros a day for my. Age even though I put my age when I booked it had to pay 280 euros extra avoid this company it's ascam

Great car hire service and people are nice, polite, helpful and friendly too. No issues whatsoever with the the car (Citroen C3) nor the overall hire experience. Would strongly recommend and will use them again in the future.

This is a scam company. We were forced to purchase an optional insurance package we did not want to. This was done by them using a method where they 'tried' to do the preauthorisation of a deposit from our credit card without the card reader asking a PIN code. This triggers a block in any credit card which rejects the attempt. According to the staff the only way for us to get the car we already paid for was to use a debit card instead. However, with debit card you are forced to purchase the insurance. Avoid at all cost.

Do not rent from these people, they run the worst car company I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Their business model seems to be one where they never fix tiny scratches, many of them barely visible so they can charge other unsuspecting travelers for the same scratch. They don't arrive in the office till 8 am when many travellers have already had to check in so you are at their mercy in returning your security deposit in full-any in many cases they don't claiming damages that are very questionable, in the case of my son a small scratch that was noted on the damages list when he rented the car.

charged extra by 312 eur for 4 days because I left my credit card at home (+500 eur charged deposit on my debit card) when in terms were mentioned possible extra insurance cost 30 eur per day.

It was the most terrible company in my practice, we booked a car for 4 days with insurance then additionally paid an additional 186€ insurance to the office when we returned the car they began to check every scratch and said that we damaged the wheel, I am 100% sure that it was like that it was, and all the wheels were defective but they were indicated on the sheet, and the damage on the wheel depended on the position as it stands and was not visible, the company issued an invoice of 170€ I do not understand why I paid all the insurance, I think it's a deception
