Overall a smooth experience with Easy Choice. We changed lenders after instruction which didn't have our assigned conveyancers on the panel and James happily assigned us a new firm. On occasion they were hard to get hold of but eventually got in contact and everything was completed in good time. It's just a shame every other part of our house purchase didn't go as smoothly!

James my account manager has been great so far. Helpful, courteous and quick to reply. At my request my file was moved to another Solicitor, which was completed quickly and without complaint. I think you can get some problems with online Solicitors and possibly their workload. But, I cannot complain about anything James and Easy Choice have done, quite the opposite. I think their Searches are reasonably priced. In fact I got a discount when I had to ask for a different set done after I changed my Purchase. James and his team do their job very well. Shame not all the world of conveyancing doesn't do the same. So I would definitely recommend James and Easy Choice as the vast majority of reviews seem to do.

A Costly Experience with Easy Choice
A Costly Experience with Easy Choice
I decided to use Easy Choice for my recent property purchase, having had a smooth experience with them the previous year. However, this decision turned out to be a big mistake.
Upon reflection, I realized that during my first purchase, all but the initial communication was actually with the solicitors, PCS Legal, rather than Easy Choice directly. This lack of direct involvement might explain why no issues arose then.
For my recent purchase, which had a strict deadline, I informed Easy Choice and my account manager, of the urgency. Unfortunately, the deadline was missed. I had to intervene multiple times as James and the solicitors were unresponsive. It was later revealed, after a complaint to Taylor Rose MW, that I had been assigned a solicitor who did not work for the firm. Consequently, my file remained untouched for the entire deadline period.
This debacle led to an additional cost of £15,000 for the property. Adding insult to injury, I was forced to pay three times the quoted fixed legal fee to ensure the solicitors completed the transaction.
While James is polite and says all the right things, his assurances turned out to be empty promises. None of his commitments were followed through.
I repeatedly requested Easy Choice's complaints procedure, which was never provided. When I persisted, I was given an email address, to which I received no response.
If Easy Choice responds to this review with a fabricated story, I have all the emails to back up my claims. To others considering their services, beware. If everything goes smoothly, you might be lucky. However, if any issues arise, you'll get no help from Easy Choice, and it could end up costing you a fortune.
