Fraud and scam they will quote you cheap price just to rob you avoid

Communication has been poor. The seller's solicitors sent them everything they needed including a draft contract a week ago. They pocketed a £300 none refundable fee and ignored any correspondence sent to them, they've raised no queries and haven't given an estimated time to do so. They don't have a complaints team which seems unprofessional. Xyz law is not on the Nationwide panel.
"The welcome pack will be sent to you within 48 hours of instructing as we need to run your Anti money Laundering checks first.

Contained in the welcome pack you will find the logins for the online portal, clients care forms and your conveyancer details."
That was 96 hours ago. Technically I still don't have my conveyancer details despite my mortgage application being sent.

Edit: easy choice flagged this as illegal harassment. Tl;Dr - trying to take credit for receiving a draft contract is ridiculous. It was received the day after I had my offer accepted. Just onboard within a week and acknowledge the solicitors/estate agents correspondence. Completely unprofessional to conduct searches prior to onboarding or any communication with seller.

Not on our lenders panel. Was confirm in the quotation, email and initial phone call that they were, only to find out about a week later from the solicitor that they aren't on the lenders panel. Money refunded, however much time wasted. Not recommended for first time buyers. Disappointed with the service.

Wonderful service provided by James! Was very helpful and always available to assist throughout the entire prowess. Highly recommend when deciding to purchase property.
