They are selfish and heartless without human empathy. The customer service is unbearable and helpfuless.
I pick S TampLife’ over immediate after my experience here and I must say that is the best decision I made as an investors .

I am tired of these Easy Equities they are incompetent along with their Chief Operations Officer. I regret using them. Please people recommend q better competitor so I can research more before moving my funds out of EE

UPDATE:
Finally managed to withdraw all my funds. Balance was 0. Asked for account closure, and was charged another R25 "thrive fee" while I waited a week for them to respond to a ticket

When I signed up it was a simple way to buy and hold shares.

No fee's only a broker cost which I was happy with.
Now if you're not an "active trader", they bill you.
And you have no choice in the matter, I'm not active, when I signed up, there was no"thrive" system.
They are now selling off my shares to pay for their introduced fee(punishment) for not being a share trader.

Excellent investment platform. cost effective.

It's an easy and affordable option to make investments safely.

The platform and charts are easy to read and use.
Only critical note is that withdrawing the money from the platform to your bank takes a while ..but selling a position is super quicker.

I saw the red flags but i never listen, well i learn the hard way already. If i put the same effort i put here on Good merit, i know profitable that would have been.

Platform does not allow you to withdrawl funds.

One of the best Brokers to transact with. This is especially for young people to start off. There is just one problem queries take too long to get resolved and Customer Service people need to be trained properly.

This company is beyond useless. We left SA and as such changed to non-resident, but the process to have my kids accounts updated correctly was a disaster. Took about 3 months of me chasing them up weekly before their systems would accept the changes and declaration we had to repeatedly fill in, yet the accounts remained blocked.

After that period, my account & one of my kids accounts became functional, but my other childs account remained unusable for another 2 years despite me constantly chasing up. A disappointed child who couldn't access the account move funds or invest further, and a (over) 2 year struggle and endless dead end mails and useless support, I eventually gave up. We have removed all funds, and once again its taken over a month to have the other child's account accessible to simply withdraw the funds, and the funds still not released.

Absolutely pathetic support and careless staff. Platform is a great idea for teaching the kids, but has left them disappointed and feeling like investing sucks. Exactly the opposite of what it is meant to achieve.

I applied for a 5,000 loan from EasyEquities. They have now made 7 demands for down-payments before I realised it was a scam. In total I sent £1000 but have never received a loan

EasyEquities is not to be trusted. Missing IPO"s as they are not crediting funds to your account. Not sure if they are first making money on your funds before creditting to your account. It had been weeks and my money is still not creditted. IPO has closed already and no feedback from email support team.

The platforn is easy to work with ,however it has many bugs. I opened my account in Nov 2024 ,and have experienced many issues ,which you log and then ''nothing''. Their support department is so useless.I also transferred my pension preserver to them ,and never got feedback on the progress. I had to send constant emails requesting feedback. Ive done trfs like this with the big insurance companies and everything went so smoothly. They also promised a 1% addition as a promo,which i enquired about on 7 April and was promised it will be added ,but Im still waiting. Ive asked to speak to the CEO as every employee at EE is useless and they are going to lose business and customers ,just because of their terrible service. You cannot speak to a human being to explain your problem. Their ratings on Hello Peter is 1.7 and they dont respond to customers complaints .That is a sure indication of a company that does not care. Maybe they have become big and arrogant.

Trying to withdraw MY MONEY for last 3 weeks but just getting automated responses to all my messages and emails. Very bad service. I WOULD BE VERY CONCERNED WITH A LARGER AMOUNT as mine is not a lot at all. It's not acceptable. Keep telling me my account is not verified. I've sent them proof of account from bank as requested but still nothing. The service they offer is quite good and I would of continued to use but this experience scares me. Quite concerning.

I have had an account with EE for several years now, and my experiences with them have always been positive.
Highly recommended.

Very easy to use, seamless switching between my accounts and placing trades

This app is easy to use. I love the new look and how the accounts are sorted accordingly. Investing with just a couple of clicks.

I was incentivized to try out easy equities by putting in a certain amount of money that would be matched in a promotional campaign. I did so a year ago and left it to grow. I received an email now stating that I must put money in as the account is going to go into a negative balance due to fees. I don't understand how the fees could have in a year chewed through all my initial investment and growth and go into the negative if I should only be charged a small percentage. I tried to close the account but there is no support. There was a whatsapp chat but the second I ask to close my account it closes the chat. There is no phone number, no email, I don't know how to close my account and I'm now scared they're going to keep charging me and eventually blacklist me or something
