…Replacement mortise lock

Good price and reasonable delivery for a replacement mortise deadlock

No Easy about it

Due to an error with this sites electronic payments system they sent both locks. now will no longer accept one of them back. Poor customer service.

Thanks for taking your time to provide us with feedback.

Firstly we still have the other order here that has not even left which we agreed to refund, so your comments are not truthful. (We see that you have now edited your review to suggest this)

You placed 2 orders on our system, 1 with “0 extra keys” and 1 with “1 Extra key” , you would have seen the contents in your cart during various screens in the checkout and also had an email confirmation of both orders, which we also see a copy of.

You stated that you wished to return the order with “0” Extra keys, however you had cut it out of the packaging so we are unable to re-sell this item.

We didn’t have to refund and cancel the 2nd order as it was a special made to order item and also cut out of the packaging, however we have agreed to do this at our loss.

Now due to us not accepting the original lock back you have given us a 1 star review and are now saying the lock is faulty so you can return it. Please do return the lock to us so that we can send it to the manufacturers for inspection.

What we are really confused about is why you didn’t get a key cut locally for the lock you had and we could have refunded you for the 2nd order.

Please do contact us should you require further assistance.

I have looked into this for you and can see that the product you ordered was discontinued many years ago and re-branded with “Nico” but it is identical to the former product except the logo.

The reason we still have Mila in the product name is so customers can find what they require, we have sold it like this for many years without any complaints, however now you have raised an issue we will look at re branding the name to state this.

If you are unhappy with the item then please let us know and we will get this collected for a full refund, we are also happy to contact you to discuss this matter.
