I signed up with Eclipse Model Management in October 2024 and paid £100 after being told face-to-face that I would have access to opportunities and that the fee would be refundable if no work was provided within 12 months.

After joining, I was placed on the “Development Board,” which does not include active representation or the ability to apply for jobs. Instead, the profile is simply displayed on their website, and clients would need to specifically request you.

Over the course of a year, I did not receive any work or job offers.

I contacted the agency to clarify this and later submitted a formal refund request in December 2025, based on what was explained to me at the time of signup. I have not received any response.

My experience highlights a gap between what is communicated during signup and what is actually provided, as well as a lack of follow-up when raising concerns.

I would advise others to clearly understand what level of service they are signing up for, particularly the difference between boards and whether any active representation or job access is included.

Or, save yourself the frustration and AVOID them at all costs. I should have listened to a parent who was advising the same.
If the music is playing loudly and the sign says you should not talk to anyone else, LEAVE. Do not waste a minute hoping this is it.

They use ChatGPT to fake reviews. Anyone who is media literate can tell. Also a simple google search would prove this agency is a scam. Check Reddit and others. They will threaten you with court if you don't pay an insane fee (that they won't mention in any email before you arrive) I Have confirmed it already with Trading Standards and ActionFraud, hundreds of people have already reported Eclipse and they are now “permanently closed” as stated on Google. They are nothing but illegitimate.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!

These people are definitely scammers hiding behind government backing I pad if the 3000 for nothing asked for money back still heard nothing won’t get caught out like that again they are just preying on the innocent

One star is generous, FRAUDULENT company don’t trust, went to universal models paid a lot of money for photos and a package, got photos but then they say ‘ eclipse model agency ‘ want you to sign a contract but universal models and eclipse management are in the same building with same people, total scammers I challenged them they said “ if you don’t get a job in a year they’ll refund me as I asked early on for a refund ‘ then 6 months in nothing atall just took money sent photos and ran, I asked what jobs they are applying for and I want email proof they can’t do this, I complained on here for universal models then I was bombarded with text messages telling me to take it down or they won’t give a refund or put forward for jobs, I said give me proof of jobs you applied for they didn’t, now I had a text saying we are off the books. Don’t touch this company or Universal models the are fraudulent. Now I got to try and get my money back. Disgusting day light robbery !!

I did not get any work, there was bad communication and they refused to refund me after the 1 year contract. They cancelled the number after I phoned

No stars are deserved for they lure BAME women stating they are BAME friendly and innocent vulnerable women are pressurised into signing a contract after being approached over phone to pay 100 gbp refundable deposit told that it's not recommended to pay anything less than 1000 gbp and so they lure you into paying 1500 gbp saying you will get excellent work of 3000 gbp per shoot. They email regularly and if you reply to all emails and request your application is made then after one year and many months of no work they say they need screenshot of every application as they don't keep records else they simply don't return your money *small print illegible on the so called contract which is not one for you getting anything..its for you to lose. Its a setup scam. They use the line 'government recognised modelling agency' as if UK government would be so proud of them. Its a shame to know UK government let's these people operate and take money off vulnerable BAME victims and other victims. Even after telling them of financial hardships, vulnerability and beingba single mum with a disabled child the man who owns it, a black man who lies is hard of heart and selfish and has a team who scams innocent poor women. Shameful indeed.

Worst experience ever, do not waste your time or money on this company at all - After meeting all criteria required to get my deposit back they are withholding data on my applications which I adhered to and refusing to give me back my deposit. Currently going through a process of conciliation/tribunal. Strongly advise you not to entertain this shameful company as they haven't delivered on anything that they promised.

I’ve been with them for 2 years as a mature model. Very little communication, no work and now the website says that they are permanently closed! The address in here, Instagram and the previous location are all different. I have sent emails, but no reply?!?!

The team at Eclipse really knows how to bring out your strengths. They helped me refine my walk, my poses, and most importantly, my mindset.

All the review are paid. Don't trust them. Fraud Businessman. Don't trust them.

⁠I’m 6,3 and regularly work out. Eclipse told me that I qualify as a high end model and can make good money in fashion shoes. Clients love height so I’m so excited. Watch this space.

I never knew that being trained to be a model was important. None of my friends encouraging me to be a model ever told me that apart from the fact I look good. However, Eclipse model management asked me if I would hire a plumber that was not trained, I said no I would not so they asked me, why would someone hire me as a model if I’m not trained?I’m like, of course that makes sense.I’ve since been accepted and trained and my career is going places. I’d highly recommend them.

I must say, Eclipse model management is a great agency. I was a bit sceptical at first I must admit but having gone down, my experience has been very good.Had 3 jobs within my first 3 months and the lowest paid £450. Not bad for a beginner. Good job guys. Thank you.

absolutely stunning pictures and above all, the clients like them. That’s all I care about. Earned just over £8000 in my first 6 months. My modelling dream is finally coming true. Wicked.

back in 2023 I joined this agency called Your Model Management (they changed their name to Eclipse Model Management now). at first they seemed so nice and professional. they gave me a free photoshoot and told me I got accepted into their agency. I was so excited because it sounded like a big opportunity. later they said I had to pay £500 for the main board package to be part of their company, and I did. then they emailed me saying a brand like NEXT was looking for a model but I had to pay another £400 for extra photos. I paid again because I really believed them.

after that, nothing happened. no jobs, no bookings, no real updates. when I asked for a refund, they kept making excuses like “the director is sick” or “we’ll process it soon.” a year passed and I still got nothing back.

it’s honestly so sad because I trusted them and really thought it was real. please be careful a real model agencies don’t make you pay upfront or promise fake jobs.
