Following a written quote
Following a written quote, a follow up and a surveyors visit to measure up, a date to commence the work was not easy to secure.
This seems to stem from the job being initially mis quoted in terms of cost and under charged .
As I had the quote in writing, I assumed that as a company they would stand by their written quote, but instead they came back to me stating that they would not stand by this quote/written contract and to have the job done , I would have to find another £1100 on top on the original quote of £1500.
Very disappointing and I question if this is actually legal ?
All information requested ie a copy of the written quote has been emailed and received some months ago along with a paper copy taken with him on the 18th July ! I have also spoke with a manager this month about this matter who gave me the increased price.
There is nothing more I can offer.
I have also provided my name and number again today. With regards to the order number this was not written on the quote.
Very disappointing responce from your company.

Initial consultation was very professional, showed a good knowledge of types of building and construction, explained the product well. Windows arrived as arranged, the fitter was polite and hard working. The windows are well made, of good quality and secure.

Honest& efficient
Arrived on time & we're very pleasant throughout the day answering queries when they arose
Did have set of patio door handles missing but a guy turned up with them & whilst fitting them adjusted the front door,I thought it was just stiff because it was new but he said no I'll adjust it for you & it was much better when he'd finished.I was pleased with his honesty

the engineers came and did their job…
the engineers came and did their job quickly and without any fuss apart from one window where the glass measurement was not correct. Both fitters were polite so no complaints from me.

Overall satisfactory
I wasn't happy with the number of calls I got from company persuading me to renew my double glazing.However, once I agreed to go ahead the work was carried out promptly and in good time by a couple of fitters who worked really hard. There were a couple of minor niggles on completion, but overall I am happy with the final result

Workmen were very good
The fitting of the windows was exceptional. 1 large patio window fitted, 1 large bedroom window and just the glass in another frame.
Have since ordered a new bathroom window and new glass for the kitchen window.
