I thought they were my provider after…

I thought they were my provider after spending months trying to find out who owns the solarpanels they aren't but the lady I spoke to was very nice and understood my frustration. A breathe of fresh air compared to other companies I spoke to.

Great Engineer

Chris Kennimouth the engineer was very professional doing our meter upgrade, he explained everything to us in such a friendly manner without too much technical jargon.

Customer service poor

Customer service poor. Engineer upgraded ststen and it developed a fault, we was accused of tampering with it. 2nd engineer, still the same. Finally sorted after threatening to rwmove panels. Now still waiting (since Aug) to have pigeon guards fitted!

Prompt service after phone call

Prompt service after phone call . Engineer explained clearly. The panels needed cleaning and bird proofing , awaiting call for it to be done and any other recommendations needed .

Bought a house with eco vision panels…

Bought a house with eco vision panels fitted
Contacted them, the panels and the system had not been checked in over a decade. Independent electrician advised turning them off due to a very high reading.
Engineer came out from ecovision, system is dangerous but not enough to turn off. Pigeon protection and a new board would be fitted asap, email confirmation will be with me asap. It's been over a week, no email, no replacement board to protect me and my family for the high reading from the solar. No protection to prevent the pigeons from nesting under the panels and blocking my drainage and causing other damage. 2a / Ng340nr
I have received a call from eco vision and they are on the case and I have edited my review accordingly. Thank you for taking the time to contact me and answer the review.

Hi Oliver. thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m really sorry for the worry and frustration this situation has caused, particularly where safety concerns have been raised.

To clarify our role, Ecovision acts as the maintenance provider on behalf of the system owner. We do not own the solar panels or the system itself, but we are responsible for attending reported issues and arranging remedial works where required, in line with the system owner’s instructions.

Following the engineer’s visit, the system was assessed and, while faults were identified, it was confirmed that it was not at a threshold requiring immediate shutdown. However, recommendations were made for remedial work.

In terms of next steps:

Pigeon mesh installation and panel cleaning are arranged through specialist contractors and currently have a lead time of approximately 8–12 weeks.

The recommended remedial works are being progressed through the appropriate channels with the system owner.

I have asked a member of our customer service team to contact you today to talk through the findings, current status, and next steps in more detail.

Stephanie Green was brilliant

This was the fourth time I had made contact with Ecovision who had reported that they needed access to my property to correct a fault and upgrade the system. The four stars all belong to Stephanie Green who was excellent in responding and organising the visit of their technician. She listened and immediately grasped the situation, responded very intelligently and confirmed the appointment by email. Ecovision, as an organisation, would have got five stars except it took me four calls to sort this matter out. Full marks to Stephanie Green!

Well not very impressed as appointment…

Well not very impressed as appointment was cancelled so many times. Nothing wrong with engineer when he came very polite and got on with the job . In all the numerous years I have had panels never been cleaned - Did report this and was told independent company would clean them. STILL WAITING !!!

On the first occasion, the appointment had to be cancelled due to the engineer being unexpectedly unavailable through illness. On the second occasion, the assigned engineer was no longer with the company, which regrettably resulted in further disruption. While these circumstances explain the changes, I fully appreciate how frustrating this was for you, and I apologise for the inconvenience caused.

I’m pleased to hear that when the appointment did go ahead, the attending engineer was polite, professional, and carried out the work as expected. We will ensure this feedback is passed on.

Regarding the pigeon mesh and panel cleaning, this has now been raised internally, and I have asked a member of our team to contact you directly by Monday 22 December to arrange both the pigeon mesh installation and the panel clean.

Poor Service

Company made two appointments and after staying in all day no one arrived on either occassion. Third appointment made and finally engineer arrived.
