Wasted my absolute time with this 'Education alternate' online fake certification "program" Was hired through the charter schools to teach and obtain my alternate licensing. FAKE CREDENTIALED through Edcite----which btw website no longer works, Feb 2026

its bad and lacks intrist for other people and kids

Edcite, although relatively easy to manage, really isn't all that great. During testing, when more than 20 people at a time need to use it, it completely crashes. Its servers can't handle more than the occasional pop quiz in my experience and the formatting for a lot of the materials put in by teachers is terrible since you need to have the photos and references take up the whole screen in order to see it properly, which then obstructs the questions. It's especially not viable for essay or written questions on the platform.

Edcite has provided our teachers a platform to create and use TEI, (tech enhanced item) questions. Our teachers can then use the rigorous data created, to drive their instruction and our students have valuable practice answering questions just like our state assessments.

Edcite Schools is an online platform that will allow your school or district to create, distribute, and track formative or summative assessments that mirror the format of the many online assessments that students must take in their academic lives. You can customize curricular assignments and assessments so that students become comfortable navigating online text, interacting with online tools, and developing online written responses. Also, there are a multitude of dynamic and interactive reports that allow you to progress monitor student achievement of standards. You can access a library of different question types for models, and there is an immense amount of support available to educators.

I have been very pleased with this site. There is wide array of question types and the setup of the questions are very easy to follow. Also the customer service has been excellent. My school does not have a paid account and they have still helped me when needed and actually changed the format of one of the question types based on my suggestion. The team at Edcite does look at the questions that you make and will reach out to you if they feel you could make the question better. I have started to put all my tests and quizzes on this site as it saves time grading and my school is trying to go paperless. Overall I would highly recommend Edcite to any teacher.

I use edcite every day. They are a responsive company and will help you almost immediately and strive to help you make the best assessments possible. They take any feedback you have for them and every year they are constantly updating and making it better!

It's kind of tough to make really quality questions, but the IT department is there helping you, all the way. Once the high quality test questions are made, everything else is a breeze! If you are happy with multiple choice questions, everything is easy.

Some types of questions have errors or don’t work well on all the browsers or computers.

Edcite has provided me with a wide variety of ELA resources that match the format of state standardized tests.
However I would like the math answer keys to include the steps required to solve the problem.

Edcite has made an impact on my students ability to showcase their knowledge on End of Course exams! The ability as an educator to create questions in a format that will be used on EOCs is invaluable. The data that can be extracted as soon as an assessment is over makes my job so much easier. I can quickly determine where reteaching, if any, needs to occur. Also, the ability to track the standards you have covered and assessed is extremely helpful. I just cannot say enough good things about this website. A bonus is the support provided by the Edcite team.
