I required the services of the locksmith on Sunday 6th of March. I was informed that someone would be there within the hour and he was. My mechanism was not simple and the locksmith explained precisely what was required. My old mechanism was taken away to be identified and I was left with secure premises. At the earliest opportunity my new mechanism and more secure lock was fitted. The locksmith who was training a colleague was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I have already recommended them to my near neighbours. A first class service.

Freak incident meant we were locked out and couldn't use the key. They arrived promptly and were fairly reasonably priced and also arranged additional keys to be cut and delivered for the new lock which had to be fitted. Recommended :)

Have used Edinburgh Locksmith service 3 times now they are knowledgeable very reliable honest and say when they are going to turn up! I would highly recommend this company.

Required a locksmith to help when a key broke in my front door. Called Edinburgh lock smith services who arrived promptly and removed the broken key from the lock. The locksmith then oiled and realigned the door lock so that it would work better. Also advised that the mortice lock on my front door was not British Standard and would not be covered on my Insurance cover. I can definitely recommend Edinburgh lock smith services.

Lock broke unexpectedly leaving the house vulnerable. Max arrived that evening to help secure the house, returned the next night to repair the lock with the right parts, and then again the next night to replace the handle (he wasn't happy with it!). Kept me informed all the way through. Excellent service, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Had a locksmith from elsewhere come in to check a broken lock and he told me that the job was complicated and would be expensive and would need rare tools to fix. The locksmith spent 30min hustling with the lock and caused further damage. He quoted an obscene fee to change locks. I called Edinburgh Locksmith Service (ELS) to get a second quote/opinion. The guy from ELS had the broken lock replaced in minutes and for less than half the price I had been quoted earlier.

Great response time even during holidays. Although it was not a straight forward job, the service and communication was much appreciated and very professional. Friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this company.

We have recently bought property in Edinburgh and are not familiar with any tradesmen. T my daughter broke the handle on our property today as she was leaving for work. When she returned home at 5pm to try and get in she struggled. Eventually she got in and Took the handle off. This company came straight away after she called them. They were very efficient and sorted all the locks on the door. They were very pleasant and made my daughter who is only 18 feel

Very fast and effective. We were locked out of our house after someone else repaired our lock badly. He managed to get us back in and fix the lock without any damage to the door. And it's very secure lock that we have!

Walked the dogs and forgot my keys. Within 10 minutes the locksmith arrived and opened 4 locks within a minute. Fully recommend and would use him again next time.

Left the house without my keys, Deniss saved the day and turned up within an hour to let me back in. Quick and friendly service, he got me in, sank new secure screws into the door frame and even played with my cat. Top lad.

Wife forgot to take keys and we were locked out from our flat on Saturday night out. Thankfully friend recommended Dennis and we managed to get our doors opened in no time. Very friendly and reliable lad! He even gave advice about our lock's and a discount! Would definitely recommend to anyone in emergency like that!

I received a call from my fathers carer to say that he was locked out of the house as the lock failed. Called, and Dennis was there within the hour. It only took him a minute to get the door opened. He is a star, & a really nice helpul guy. Would highly recommend this Compay.

My husband and I locked ourselves out of our flat on a chilly Sunday afternoon with our 6 month old baby. The locksmith came in straight away, within 20 minutes, and opened our doors within seconds! We were very impressed! Very good service indeed!

The lock smith service reolied to our call straight away and were at our door within 20 minutes, despite it being a sunday night. The guy was super friendly and fixed our problem straight away, couldn't be more happy. Especially since we had already waited for 3 hours for a different company that didn't bother showing up. Thank you guys!

I can't recommend Deniss enough. My key snapped in my lock this morning and he was with me within half an hour. He not only got me into the house but also changed 2 locks for me there and then at a very reasonable cost. Excellant service.
