I have no hesitation at all in recommending Edinburgh Mobility Bathrooms, who saw to the complete renovation of my father's bathroom. Right from the very start Jim guided us through every step of the process. He knows a tremendous amount about designing a bathroom which will be easy to use now, and well into the future. He helped us make good decisions about the design and layout of a new shower-room. Jim project managed the whole process, which gave us great confidence and peace of mind. Once work began, there were a number of problems with the walls and floor of the existing bathroom which could not have been foreseen. This led to the project taking longer than anticipated. The extra work required was carried out efficiently and at no extra cost to Dad! Jim and all the members of the team were hard working, cheerful and friendly. Dad is delighted with the end result and we are all confident that his bathroom is fit for purpose, now and into the future.

Jim and the whole team - on-site workers and administrative staff - provided a thoroughly professional service.
Jim understood exactly what was needed to convert our bathroom into an effective and usable space for a person with mobility issues. Furthermore, his keen eye and wide experience ensured the finish was elegant and in keeping with the feel of the flat.

The experience went extremely smoothly from first meeting to final clear up. The job started and finished on time. It was organised and efficient and made something I had been dreading simple.

The whole project, from first exploratory visit to final photographs was handled with compassion, humour and skill by everyone on the staff of Edinburgh Mobility Bathrooms. On first reading reviews from past customers I wondered if they could be true - there were no negative comments at all! But I too have nothing negative to say. I thoroughly recommend EMB; the firm worked in partnership with me every step of the way; the men were kind, cheerful and helpful around the property; they all had valuable experience to offer; all rubbish was removed promptly; the project went ahead with no delays and to a high standard. I cannot praise them highly enough.

The company removed the bathroom from my flat and installed a wet room in its place. The result is magnificent. The work was complicated by the discovery that the trajectory of some pipework placed when the flat was built was defective and possibly illegal. The job was still finished on time at an overall reasonable cost.

Very impressed with the performance and workmanship from Jim and his team. Although the start date was booked well in advance, they started at the appointed hour and stuck to the schedule throughout.
Jim kept in constant touch with the job's progress, even adding in a few extras along the way. Everything was left clean and tidy after completion.

We had edinburgh mobility bathrooms fit a wet room for our mum as she is 90 now with mobility issues, have to say Jim and his team done a superb job from beginning to end, and gave a lot of great advice in the planning stage, the instalation team were second to none, polite, respectful, and cleaned up afterwards, definitely 5stars to the whole team, so much so that my wife and I are getting them to refit our own bathroom

Jim and his team delivered a lovely wet-room space which is accessible, usable and elegant. There was much creative problem solving and juggling of tasks as they discovered various snags in an old house and sorted them quickly, calling on expertise in a timely manner. The level of communication and care was excellent and the team showed particular kindness and understanding for the context with my mother and her care assistants in the house. We love our new Scandi-style panels and stylish new floor. The space is transformed!

We have had a great experience with this company, with Jim and all of his team. It was a particularly difficult time because my sister and I were dealing with a house move for our very elderly mother, with both of us living very far away.
Jim was constantly available and in communication as we drew up plans to create an accessible wetroom bathroom in limited space and to reconfigure interior walls to create a really nice age appropriate and wheelchair useable space for our mother. Jim coordinated everything perfectly, from the bathroom conversion to interior reconstruction and electrical work. Any questions or concerns we had were answered immediately.
We are extremely satisfied, our mother is delighted with her new home, and the care workers who help her have everything now to make their job a lot easier. It was a level of support beyond anything we had expected.

From the initial meeting through to completion, the communication and service was excellent. Jim project managed the conversion of my Dad´s bathroom into a wet room with non slip floor, handles and easy access shower which Dad is absolutely delighted with and has made his life so much easier. The attention to detail and workmanship of the EMB team was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a slick mobility bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble.

From estimate to completion of work the whole process was seamless. Jim attended every day to manage works ensuring various teams from joiners, to plumbers and floor layers to electricians were on site as required. The quality of finish is first class with all measurements and fittings done with precision. Jim was able to offer his knowledge and experience in areas I hadn't thought about making choices easy. He went over and above on getting little extras to make life easier. Job had a very tight timescale from my side and Jim ensured it was completed well within promised timeframe. All rubbish removed leaving place immaculate. I would highly recommend them if you require a disabled friendly wet-room.

Edinburgh Mobility Bathrooms carried out a conversion of an existing bathroom to a wet room. It was not an entirely straightforward process, as damage was found to the walls and under the floor, but Edinburgh Mobility Bathrooms worked with us to resolve the issues. The work was carried out to a very high standard and the team who did the work were polite, courteous and went the extra mile. Very pleased with the results. Highly recommended.

Exceptional customer service throughout the process of turning my father’s bathroom into an accessible wet room - with the offer of ongoing support even beyond the completion of the work. Excellent advice on how to make the best choices from a mobility perspective, things we would never have thought of ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble during the re-fit, there was so much consideration to minimise disruption for my dad (who has Alzheimer’s), the guys went above and beyond. We are delighted with the quality of the finished wet room and it’s already making life much easier and safer. We didn’t know anyone who had been in our situation so relied on internet reviews to choose which company to trust. I’m so grateful we went with Edinburgh Mobility Bathrooms and would recommend them absolutely without hesitation.

Got a wetroom installed for my parents recently and the service we received from this Company was excellent from the initial meeting until the job was completed. Jim and his team - Rory, Barry, Callum, Billy, Scott and Martin - were highly professional in every way from their advice, efficiency, completing the job on time and nothing being too much trouble. Jim kept me updated throughout and couldn't be more helpful. He said to get in touch even in the future, if something needed sorted. The wetroom is amazing. Edinburgh Mobility Bathrooms provided an excellent service from initial advice and design to completion of a wet room to replace our bathroom. In a first floor apartment we were concerned about the neighbours. But a letter was delivered to all, the communal carpetting and stairs were protected and hoovered each afternoon. No complaints. The end result is what we need particularly for my wife whose balance and mobility are major issues. Family and friends (and Occupational Therapy) think that it is excellent. So, in one week, the team delivered and they were very good.
We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you EMB.

As of Friday 5th April 2024, we have a wonderful new bathroom. I cannot overstate the professional way the job was completed. My main man Gary kept us updated at all times. All the team members we met were courteous and careful in our house. I would have no hesitation recommending them.

Jim and his team came and fix my shower and he did not need to do it .All i had was a wet room knowing i was not long out of hospital he knew i needed fixed . I team did it i would like to thank them all .Brilliant thanks again guys . Great job Gerry .

The whole crew who worked on this project were brilliant. A couple of hiccups did not prevent the job getting finished to our satisfaction. Jim and all the guys deserve a big round of applause (don't leave biscuits lying around if Barry's on site) Thank you guys for making life so much easier for both of us.

We decided that we needed a Wet-room, both for ourselves and for when elderly parents visit. After looking at various options over a 12 month period, we eventually chose Edinburgh Mobility Bathrooms (EMB) and did not regret it. EMB provided a baseline design which included a proper ‘wet-room’ floor and waterproof wall panels. EMB supported us in selecting suitable fixtures and fittings. The installation was completed within a week which including solving some idiosyncrasies of our bathroom. Jim and his team were excellent at explaining each stage and involved us when any decisions were needed about positioning etc. They also fitted our wall cabinet and window blind which we supplied.
EMB provided excellent aftercare whenever ‘bedding in’ issues arose, without any question.
In summary Edinburgh Mobility Bathrooms provided an excellent overall service from start to finish and represent great value for money.

Got a bathroom fitted out for my Dad and couldn't have chosen a better company to do it. Excellent service and communication throughout and the work was carried out to a very high standard. Credit to everybody involved in making this happen so quickly. My Dad is really pleased with the result and that is the main thing. No more having to climb over a bath to get a shower which is much better for him.
