I got billed for $116, but I haven’t use any of their worksheets or materials ever. I may have come across it last year, that was the last and only time I logged in with them. I don’t know why I got billed with a yearly subscription already after that. I never consented to it for sure. I tried looking for an account with them connected to my emails, but I don’t have one. When I logged in to their site, I don’t have a premium account with them too, but why I am billed??!! I want to have my money back and want to cancel my subscription.
— They contacted me after and reimbursed me the amount. Thanks

I am a homeschooling parent for over 4 years Completed 2nd-5th grades and currently teaching 6th (yep, they go through 8th, not 5th). When I originally found Education.com I was skeptical to try it due to the many negative reviews. Upon further reading into those reviews I noticed that most were only complaining about being charged full price for their second billing. Well, of course they were. That's how these things work if you don't cancel in time. In my case I was looking for supplemental material for our curriculum, and Education.com offered what I wanted, so I decided to use the free account to just grab a few worksheets. In short order I opted to join for the year at the $60 price. Their library is massive and I can print specific sheets from within a full lesson or the entire lesson itself. There's an area for the kiddos in which they have their own interface and parents can track their progress. It's not going to be for everyone, but homeschoolers will appreciate the resource.
I would like to add that while joining I was informed that if I did not cancel my subscription within the year I would automatically be charged full price the following year. My year ended in May 2021. I was not charged for the following year. Everything went just as it was stated at sign-up. However, after leaving Education.com I found myself missing the ease of printing pinpointed worksheets/activities, so I just bought another year and I wish that lifetime offer I saw in the reviews was still around! It pays to check things out for yourself ;)

Buyer Beware! I have been charged monthly for premium access for an entire year and have not once used their content. I have contacted them to unsubscribe and they are telling me they can’t find my credit card information so they can’t cancel me. I find it interesting that they don’t have a way to contact support team or any employee by phone to fix the problem. I now have my credit card co. Involved but this is no way to run a business.

I don't think it's the best
Like only 3 worksheets aloud a day for basic subscription. That's just stupid. You all need to take it off right now, people just want to homeschool there kids without any problems the thing it just stupid.
If you must use them, beware. Predatory and questionable practices. If you want to download something, you have to sign up. OK, but what they don't tell you up front is that you only get 3 downloads per day. Be prepared to spend a week or so to get that foreign alphabet set if you don't want pay, which I would be very reluctant to do based on other reviews. When you do sign up, you will get emails, even after you unsubscribe (delay to be taken off the list).

I was really satisfied with content. I am no longer homeschooling so no longer need the service. I was charged for a subscription fee. It was almost 3 times the first year was under $50.00 CAD this year it automatically renewed at $153.00 CAD. They did issue a refund for $143.00 CAD so kept 10.00 for a service/content I won’t use. Do not give this company your financial info!!!! I appreciate the response but still find it highly unethical to triple a subscription on an automatic renewal. It may have been the bank none the less I have paid somewhere for this interaction. I would still highly recommend to use a prepaid CC or other method of payment that can not be held.

I do not recall when I used this site but I believe I may have used it briefly while doing a university assignment a couple of months ago with a free membership, however they have somehow managed to get my bank details and take $166 from my account. I did not consent to this charge, and when I try to log in to an account all of my emails say that there is no account connected to any of them. I would like my money back and any account I have to be deleted! I will be lodging a dispute with my bank over this charge if it is not resolved.

I keep getting charged $7.99 a month for a membership that I do not even have. I have tried over and over again to speak to someone about it and of course they don’t have a phone number and won’t respond to my emails. Scam!!

Canceled my premium membership as we rarely use it (for the past year), canceled 3 times I still get charged! Also emailed them 3 times with no response!!! Scam company, be careful!

My name is Carolann FitzPatrick and I am a special education teacher. I have been a member for almost a year. I became a premium member and when I looked in my bank account and you took out $119.00 for my premium membership and when I looked into my account settings on education.com, it said that I have the basic membership. I have been trying to get a hold of you for a while. I would like to cancel my subscription as well as getting a refund of $119.00 back into my account. I was not able to print out any worksheets because I had a limit to the number of copies I can make. Please respond to me asap.
Thank you!

They have many good materials on their website, I’ve been using them to homeschool my son
I purchased the premium deal and was able to log on this morning, but now it has me as basic and I can see my bank account and see the payment has cleared. I have sent a lot of emails, but I am not getting a response from them. There is no phone support??!!! REALLY????!!!! I want a call from a real person ASAP!!!

I am a teacher. During the shut down, I paid for a membership with Education.com. Yesterday, my credit card company notified me that a $119.88 charge was made by this company for a Premium membership. I did not have a Premium membership last year and I do not wish to continue with any membership with this company this year.
My credit card company told me to request a refund and that Education.com deactivate my account. This I did. The Contact Us feature on the website does not provide the customer with a written record of having contacted this company. I stumbled upon this platform, searching the web trying to find an email or street address. I also noticed the acronym IXL at the top of the Education.com website. I searched the IXL website and discovered that IXL, Rosetta Stone, wyzant,, Education.com, ABCya.com and Vocabulary.com are all connected with one another. It appears that the California Headquarters are in San Mateo, CA but there are many other contacts with email and physical locations that can be accessed through the ixl.com website.
I attempted to deactivate the account that I purchased last year. It was not a Premium Account and I sent an email using my personal email account (for documentation) to request a refund and deactivation ASAP. I also stipulated that I do not wish to purchase a subscription for this service now nor in the future.

I was charged without any consent or notification that I would be charged. I am not using this product and would like a refund ASAP. I will be contacting my bank to reverse the charge also. I’ve been waiting all day for a Live Chat option, but that option does not exist. Do not recommend this company at all! Do not ever give them your banking information!!!!

Solid supplement and filled with engaging games. Great in a pinch. Easily worth the price.

DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY. I HAVE TRIED 5 TIMES TO CANCEL THIS ACCOUNT, NUMEROUS WAYS AND THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE GONE TO THE WEBSITE, EMAILED, THEY DO NOT HAVE A TELEPHONE NUMBER. SO DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER. I MIGHT HAVE TO GET LEGAL.

Can you tell me who monitors the information put on your site. For parents homeschooling their children, how do you know the information you place is up to date. Does the U.S Department of Education at least monitor information placed up on your site?

I like how they let you play free before purchasing. Im still a little nervous but will give it a try for my daughter because i home school her & need to find a structor of how to do everything. I've never been too bright in school but i can surely get by & education.com has put in a lot of work to help me with that!
I subscribed to a basic membership with education.com back in March of 2021. I canceled my membership in late April of 2021 because I no longer needed it. I canceled my membership by deactivating my account. Afterwards, I was told that I would no longer receive any emails from education.com anymore and my card information would be deleted. However, I have been billed for the month of May, June, and July. I also noticed I have been billed for a premium membership. I subscribed to a basic membership. I have reached out to their customer support email for a refund and haven’t gotten a response. Therefore, I will be disputing these charges with my bank. Educators are already underpaid and it’s extremely unfortunate that a resource that is suppose to make our career easier is taking our hard earned money from us. I would not recommend education.com!
