Safety issues in my opinion.

I used this platform many years ago and liked it. However, I tried it again in 2024. As a female, I want an app that allows me to have a conversation with features that resemble a phone, so I can have conversations, send pictures and data, talk on the “phone” and or place video chats to build trust before exchanging phone numbers.

Eharmony is out dated and doesn’t provide this feature. It took close to a month before development of a decent conversation to get to the point of wanting to arrange a video chat, or send pictures, so when we wanted to do this I found out no such features exist.

The terms are of use are RIGID! It’s impossible to get a refund if you’ve paid in advance and are requesting so after the first 72 hours of purchase.
Considering, this is a personal safety issue (in my opinion) and should be a basic function in today’s tech world, and when compared to other alike platform, I requested a refund. But of course there was no entertainment of such, so I asked again and it was denied.

Customer satisfaction used to be a big selling feature, these days it’s similar to finding a needle in a haystack.

Also note many of the people I have been speaking have remarked that they too are very disappointed by the app and would have asked for refunds if it were possible.

Everything is kept confidential. Besides, E-harmony get rid of customers who do not abide by the rules of E-harmony.

Absolutely horrible experience. I signed up to this dating site, and after only TWO days, asked to be removed and requested a refund. I was told that they cannot offer a refund. I also informed them that one of their users contacted me at my workplace, and this made me feel unsafe. I then reported them to Paypal, and also told them them as a consumer I have a right to change my mind within 14 days. Rather than offering a refund, they went on to tell me that I am liable for subscription fees? WHY? I want my profile deleted, it is apparent that I have not used the website. In the end, Paypal supported my position and refunded my monies. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I believe that they used to be good once upon a time, but now have fake profiles on their website - most of the profiles sounded fake and had glossy, unreal photos.

I can't figure out why when my membership was up for renewal that all of the sudden after months of nothing I received interest ?

I decided only after 24 hours I’m just not emotionally ready and wanted to cancel until I’m in a better place for it … they offered me nothing not even to have he changed to 3 months instead of a year ~ I have to stay with them the full year ~ it’s not like I’ve been using the app for sometime and changed my mind ~ it’s been 24 hours ! Will not use this site or recommend to anyone ~

Three good men showed interest in my profile on Day 1. That felt pretty good. I am now in Day 2 and finding only one of them lives in Ontario, while I am taking a break from traveling. So, I guess in future I will check domicile more closely, but it was nice to chat with them. I'm so glad I rejoined. I have been missing male attention.

Absolute waste of money ! I tried to cancel my membership after only a few weeks of joining (wasn't getting enough matches - sometimes not even 1 a day). We have no control (cannot search for matches). After I requested for my membership to be cancelled they threatened debt collectors - so I'm committed to paying every month until April 2025.

I haven't connected/met up with 1 person in 6 months.

Meeting people i lost my husband 3 1/2 years ago we were married for 44 years. I sort of closed myself off from people built a wall around myself to keep people out. I’m starting to speak to people again and it feels good. I’ve met a few and chatted with a few and deleted a few but thank you. I’m glad you are here cause I’m starting to be me again so thank you.

Watch out for this site - they're a predatory company that is only interested in milking customers. The sign-up page is designed so that customers unwittingly end up committing to a full year - almost $1,000, and have a hidden automatic renewal. They then come after you, threatening debt collectors if one does does not cancel 24 hours before the renewal, even though one doesn't know about it until the time comes. They ignore requests to cancel and insist on being paid. Utterly disgusting.

I would like to see more done with the scammers. Also delete the people that were on a trial period and the ones inactive for z long period of time.

I must say the response to emails were much better than anticipated by the company and I appreciate their input and assistance. Good site and I would recommend.

Haven't experienced nothing yet .I'm new.

I take a 6-month membership, and after a month, I decided not to renew the membership.I followed the procedure, according to their policy, but they continued to charge me more for two months, although I had already paid for 6 months and although I have cancelled the renewal of the membership. eharmony is dishonest, unscrupulous, and unethical, and probably engaged in illegal behaviour. So, watch your wallet; do something before they snatch it from you. Willie
