I never even got around to calling them -- I simply took a look at all the reviews, and when I saw that literally every single negative review was answered with the same canned response, no personalization whatsoever, it was patently clear that the negative reviews about bad customer service were all very likely true, and the few positive 5-star ones were all very short (single sentences) and most likely fake. I'll move on.

Confusing system and was not well explained on how to navigate and select benefits.

Went to their website. Determined that I wanted a Medigap Plan that was listed. Phoned the main number on the site. Explained to Rubin what I wanted and I had several questions. After a very lengthy script of rules and being required to divulge my email address, name and DOB, then asking the question a SECOND time, Rubin tried very hard to get me to choose an Advantage Plan, which I DO NOT WANT. Then he said that I had reached the "Advantage Team" through the number listed at the top of the page, on their site. He transferred me. Brittany answered. I went into my question. Again, Brittney explained I had reached the Advantage Team 🙄 , and that she would transfer me. Waited 10 minutes for ANYONE to pick up. What s sham!!! I learned my lesson. I'll go directly to the source. You should too.

They have no clue about the details of different plans. Chat is useless.

Donna Baggett the agent I spoke with was very kind and helpful. I could tell she knew what she was talking about. She was very patient with me.
Run from any DEI company period. From day 1 no one in HR or in any training discussed the pay period or how commission would be paid or how it was determined.
My training time was changed 3 days in a row. Monday 11.30 am, tues. 9.30 am & wed 8.30 am -and 5 of us were switched to a different class. Ask Licensing to pick up a phone and they are too lazy to do so. There was no outline of what to expect on day 1. zippo !!
All they cared about was you passing these tests. then 2 supervisors told us about demerit points that deducted from any commission - coming back late from break, no web cam on, logging in too early,
After 8 days I had enough of this type of treatment and said I am done.

I paid for short-term insurance on 06/30/2025, but I never received my ID card. I contacted eHealth many times via email, phone, and chat with no response. This is unacceptable. If this is not resolved, I will dispute the charge. Very poor customer service.

Took an Advantage plan with eHealth Simply in 2024. Canceled via phone call (at least 4 verified calls, Nov through Dec) to update to a Cigna Medicare Plan N. Have been paying on this plan for 6 months and was denied Cataract surgery because Medicare still lists eHealth Simply Advantage as my insurance. They failed to remove me from Medicare. Their negligence has cost me 6 months of payments to Cigna and will again need to reapply in Oct. Surgery canceled.
Medicare needs a serious reform and eHealth should be penalized. Once again, seniors are at harm.

This company is all about sales.
I made the 3-way call with my brother and overheard a supervisor come in on his line.
His supervisor was berating him for being on the phone 37 minutes with us, not using a "opening statement" & not getting him (my brother) into a plan.
When the agent came back on the phone, he pushed for us to "go ahead and get coverage" not knowing we already knew this was a scam!
EHealth has their supervisors listening in on all of our calls. That means everything you gove your SSN and Medicare number, it is being recorded and used God knows how.
EHealth just want your money. They don't care about helping us old people. They sit around teaching people how to sell & berate them if we don't get scammed because they paid for us to call.
EHealth does not give flex card, those are for people with food stamps already! These ads are scams and we will be taking that recorded call straight to 1800 Medicare and suing.
EHealth probably makes billions off the suffering of senior citizens.
DO NOT GET INTO A PLAN WITH EHEALTH!

I had used e health before but never again. They advised me to take a policy that had absolutely zero help to me. They then apologize and fit me with a different policy. One again zero benefit. I went over all my providers etc over and over again to make sure i was covered. Now I find out my doctors and hospitals aren't in network! I am now stuck with this policy I pay for and can't use. I would never use again or recommend to anyone.

My Agent Steve Motley is one in a million. He has been my agent since 2015. Always call me back. Very knowledgeable . I trust him .
Did not listen when I said what I was looking for. Asked if I made my own decisions. Required a last name to "verify" medicare coverage. I don't give my full name to avoid telemarketing. Was "unable" to discuss plans without my full name and "verifying" even if I had my medicare number. They were of NO help!

Ayesha Porch was so professional and took her time to find exactly what was most cost effective and beneficial to me
Thank you very much
I liked talking with Melesha, very friendly and helpful, the only problem is I can't verify my account on line? I'm sure this is something I'm doing wrong. Maybe it's something on your end?

I applied in early October, received email the supplement carrier had received and was processing, supposedly effective November 1. No word, so just before November 1 I started calling. I have talked with several people at Ehealth, all telling me they were working on it and would call me. To this date, no calls or email. So I now have to pay $30 PER MONTH more. I have begged Ehealth to find out why my application was not processed. They just give me the usual lip service

So far, so good. My husband and I had a good experience with Monica, applying to replace our Medicare Advantage plan because of a move. We received a verification the next day that everything was approved. Monica was patient and did not rush us or push us into any particular policy. We told her our needs and the policies we reviewed prior to the call. She explained the policy and the process.
