I used EHL for a family matter that ended up going to court. Throughout the entire process they were extremely helpful & made sure I understood what was happening. I was very happy with the service & would highly recommend using for any family matters.

I used them for a family matter earlier this year that needed to be heard in court.

From the beginning the advice was clear, constructive and professional. Emails were answered very quickly and it was easy to get through on the telephone to discuss issues.

The high quality report they wrote meant that the actual court hearing was less than 20 minutes.

I would definitely use EHL again and would recommend them for family matters.

Needed some paperwork which I had lost over the years, michelle at ehl was brilliant sorted it all out for me within a week, and also gave advice on where to obtain what they no longer could retrieve. Great service.

I was very happy with the service provided by Michelle Saxton in both my Divorce and Financial Remedy proceedings.
In hindsight, I should have employed her services for my Child Arrangement proceedings as well, as compared to the services provided by another firm, Edward Hands & Lewis were far better.
I felt supported throughout by Michelle and would recommend her services and use them again if need be.

Edward Hands and Lewis seem to be claiming they are a separate company form what was formerly EHL Conveyancing (now Arrow Conveyancing). However, both companies share three of the same directors so that one doesn’t wash.
My experience of EHL/ Arrow. Incompetent, they refuse to communicate, you can’t phone them, and it takes far too long to do the simplest thing. The only reason you find out things aren’t progressing is through the other party’s side. My buyers solicitors are still not in possession of e mail correspondence returned to EHL over 3 weeks ago. No excuses, just unprofessional and cause a lot of unnecessary frustration, and looking through these comments quite a bit of stress and potentially additional costs.
For your own sanity go somewhere else. I’m actually quite amazed at the level of incompetence for a supposedly professional organisation which people rely on for such an important transaction.

Excellent service from Liz Collins who dealt with mutliple aspects of a long winded process of a change of title, sale and purchase over the course of a few years. Liz always replied extremely quickly to emails and always gave me confidence she cared and understood regardless of my waffly emails at times. Liz would proactively chased 3rd parties and always let me know when she would be out of office and who would pickup anything in her absence typically Heather Price who was also excellent to work with.

Terrible service, little to no communication and after 6 months we lost our buyer due to them losing faith in the process. I don’t blame them. Months of chasing, no one will answer a phone call, or be proactive on your case, as far as i can tell they will forward emails and even that will be delayed by 2-3 weeks. Absolutely terrible and recommend anyone with them complains to the ombudsman.

Worst solicitor/conveyancer I have ever had the pleasure of using, originally sold over a year ago, original buyer pulled out due to lack of progress/ communication! Then to top it off was supposed to complete this week and they now have no records of our mortgage offer (which they confirmed to mortgage advised they received on the 28/09) now die to the change in company name the mortgage offer is no longer valid!!!

Absolutely shocking service me and my seller used these recommended through our estate agent. We had 4 people in our chain very straight forward. No response from emails texts calls enquires taking a month to respond to from start to finish 7 months could of been done in 3 if it weren’t for EHL/arrow absolutely ridiculous my final bill was more than quoted and to top it off they have took my estate agent fees and not even passed the money on over a month later!! The only person at this company who deserves some credit is Sara Palmer! She took over when my solicitor went off ill and more got done in those 4 days than my solicitor did in 7 months!!!

EHL, now renamed as Arrow Conveyancing, is hands-down one of the worst companies I have had the displeasure of dealing with, ever! On the positive side, my house-sale eventually completed but largely despite EHL and through the sheer combined effort of the buyer's solicitors, the agents and myself. I was thoroughly embarrassed to have EHL acting on my behalf. Even a formal complaint to the Managing Director was simply answered by a 'all possible assistance short of actual help' email from a minion somewhere, denying that there even was a problem with their service. EHL couldn't care less about their clients (in the most generous use of the term possible). The only thing they are super sharp on is asking for money, but be warned that even then they will come back many weeks later asking for the same payment again and won't be aware that they have been paid. Just save yourself the embarrassment and frustration and steer clear. Life is too short!

If there was a lesser rating, I believe even 1 star is too much for this company. My initial solicitor was changed and I was not informed, I just received and email from the new solicitor. They do not respond to queries via emails or telephone calls. They are unresponsive. They informed me they are waiting for a reply to an enquiry made over a month ago and still waiting. I made similar enquiry on my own and got response almost immediately. I got an update to sign documents created on the 6th of August from EHL on the 27th of August. They are so slow in about everything. I could go on and on but I am going to make a formal complaint first. I think the law society needs to read these comments here and act fast. This organisation should not be allowed to continue practicing. I wish I had read the reviews before I instructed them. They are quick to take your money and then fade away.

Brilliant when you can get hold of them, problem is, you cant get hold of them very often. I understand that with the stamp duty deadline that they were extremely busy, however I could leave 5 voicemails, 3 emails and 20 missed calls and still not get a response. When you actually manage to speak to them and ask them to do something they would action your request straight away, but its very rare you get to speak to anyone!
Would not use them again.
