Avoid at all costs!
We had one of the worst delivery and customer service experience with electrocity. Our package was delivery through anpost instead of Caulfield Transport as mentioned in the email from electrocity. This meant that our old appliance was not collected by them either, despite the clear line in the email saying it would so:
"Old Appliance Removal
Your old appliance must be disconnected and removed from any kitchen units to be taken away. "
Upon contacting costumer service multiple times, they refused to collect our old appliance and were actually rude and nonchalant about the it. Regardless of our effort to help local business during the lockdown they couldn't careless and wanted us to break the lock down and bring the old appliance to their depot.
On top of all this, there was another customers full name and address still on the box from last delivery which is a breach of data protection regulations. They were careless about that as well when raised with them.

As discussed with our customer service representative, the item itself was a small appliance so is sent via An Post, on the shipping email we include the details of all types of deliveries we offer, and are sorry if this may of caused you confusion, that was never our intention,
An Post do not offer a service to take items back with them unfortunately but as advised any small appliance can be dropped off at any local electrical shop for WEE recycling, not necessarily our own depot,
Please do know that our team is always sincere in our explanations to customers, and I cannot agree that our representative was rude, as that is simply not true of our online team here at Electrocity,

Fine local service
All fine, but some misads of Asus machines and a cracked chair which was replaced in great service and attitude. Just when I missed my cheque of €10, and asked if I rather take a refund, then the guys went silent. Can I have an answer at least?

Wasting My Time
2 months ago I was thinking of getting a €600 TV, I wanted to know if it was in-stock in my local Electro City so I messaged their Facebook page.
Two days later still no reply so I went to the message board on their website asked the same question
Two days later still no reply, that day I messaged Harvey Norman, got an answer the next day and picked up the TV that evening.
It's now 2 months later and I still haven't got any reply.

I had clicked click and collect, but then realised I needed the item within a few hours. My order hadnt been processed in the depot as it was the weekend, but the girl in the KK shop was able to help me out.
