I contacted the team with a problem where '11Labs.io' kept generating a particular name differently.
I realise that the Team is very busy- so it took 10 days to hear back from someone initially.
However, once I'd been contacted by a team member, the issue was solved within a week, and the best thing is that I learned something new.

I discovered this company through a review in an AI newsletter. Although the sign-up page advertised a two-month free trial, I was charged immediately upon clicking purchase. Customer Support gave me such a runaround that I eventually gave up on getting a refund. It was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend doing business with them.
The response from the company below may be true. I could see how that may have happened. It doesn’t negate that the company has refused to refund my money, even though I canceled the same day. They have bought a lot of ill will with the $5 they kept!

I asked for a refund, because wasn’t able to decline my subscription in time.
The support answered in 2 minutes and transferred my money back within 2 minutes. I’ve never had ANY support fix my issue so fast, specifically when it comes to refunds!
I’m not kidding when I say this is the first positive feedback, I’ve ever given to a company.
The money I paid for the subscription, was ment for a very important payment, and the fact that Elevenlabs support refunded it so fast ment a lot for me. Even though it wasn’t a lot, I needed it to pay a bill which had to be an exact amount.
Hence I’m very grateful for the amazing service!

great product. And when one issue cropped up with the program, I emailed them and they immediately answered and offered support, They had to escalate the issue to the programmers who released a patch that fixed issue within a few hours!
garbage you use the same voice over you need for the story, same voice no matter what the settings are, and he changes accent i have one story being told by a american and the other half by someone british thats the same person, its nothing to do with settings, i have used 11 labs for a long time now, this has only started happening recently, and dont even start on the credits that just disapear
We are building a voice AI agent for hospitality and it has been great to work with ElevenLabs. The quality of their voices and responses are far superior to other technologies that we tested. They also accepted us into their grants program which gives us the ability to build much more quickly and without burning capital.
The product itself isn't too bad, but the customer support? Non-existent. After finally getting redirected from the AI agent to their human team, I was given some instructions that didn't work. When I attached screenshots, they admitted it's a bug on their end and said they're escalating the case. Then, ghosted me for over a week (I followed up and opened two more queries). Then, after 10 days, I finally received a reply. But still no help, since in their reply, they are repeating the same instructions they offered before they admitted it's their fault. Until now, no one has solved the problem. In fact, no one even tried. In the meantime, I missed two deadlines for my clients and incurred costs. They also keep ignoring my questions about any discount as compensation. The worst part? You can't just switch to a different product. Suppose you're using a particular voice for a YouTube channel, you can't transfer it to their competitor. Effectively, once you choose ElevenLabs, you get enslaved and receive no customer support. So, fair warning – you want to think twice before you even start.

And today I was told that, actually, it was an AI agent that said it had a bug, and it doesn't count, since AI agents can't detect it. If that's the case, why do they state such things? And the main question is: Is 10 days a reasonable period to wait for help with a product that ElevenLabs charges $99 per month? Regarding this review, you replied within an hour. So, it's possible after all?

I just found out that if I downgrade my plan, ElevenLabs will delete tens of thousands of credits that I already paid for.
This is not a “policy.”
This is theft of purchased resources.
You are literally forcing customers to stay on an expensive plan by threatening to erase credits they’ve already bought with real money. No serious company behaves like this unless it’s intentionally exploiting its own users.
Let me be absolutely clear:
■ These credits are mine.
■ I paid for them.
■ And you are threatening to delete them unless I keep paying.
This is predatory, unethical, and enough reason for me to stop using your service entirely.
I refuse to continue paying for a platform that punishes customers for downgrading.
I will be sharing this publicly so other users know what ElevenLabs does when someone tries to change their plan.
Do not respond with a generic template — explain how you justify deleting paid credits, or don’t bother replying at all.
I’m done with this platform.
Elevenlabas voice quality is insaneeee, sounds really natural.
ElevenLabs operates a predatory subscription model where your accumulated credits get deprecated if you want to take a break from your $99/month subscription. Incredible predatory and definitely a reason to quit the service. Seems to also violate Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines 3.1.2, regarding credits expiring.
