Complete piece of nonsense …
Attended this embarrassingly horrendous debacle yesterday with three friends, having booked months ago through a local coach company, when it was clearly advertised as featuring an Elvis hologram. Whilst on way to the venue, the coach driver gave out a typed A4 sheet explaining that it was not a concert and there would be no Elvis hologram as previously described. The walk from where the coach dropped us off to where the venue is was relatively long and difficult for people with mobility issues and was only three places to eat en route to the venue (Costa, Subway and Waterfront Restaurant which could not serve food in time before the “performance”). As you enter the venue you have to wait in a replica 60’s diner which serves only cheap anaemic hot dogs in stale buns with greasy, cold rubbery potato shavings or revolting looking nachos, all at grossly inflated prices. I left mine. We did not have time to finish our drinks (we were not allowed to take them with us) before being ushered into a room where we had to stand and suffer embarrassingly awful acting from four actors with a disjointed storyline about Elvis refusing to come out of his dressing room. Odd to say the least. Then ushered into a room that we had to pretend was a train and were sat on uncomfortable benches whilst train noises and bangs were played with a bit of dry ice thrown in for good measure. Same four actors bleating on in phoney accents, no sign of Elvis and nobody we spoke to could understand either what they were saying or what it was about. I actually dropped off on a number of occasions ( it was soooo boring). Then ushered into a ‘tropical bar’ for 20 mins where nothing happens apart from surly bar staff take ages to serve you grossly inflated priced drinks which you have no chance to drink as you are then ushered into the “68” special recreation which is a bizarre recreation with a film of Elvis that we have all seen many times on tv with three guys on stage taking the role of musicians “playing” along, but I, like others who have reviewed here and two national newspaper journalists are deeply sceptical that they were actually playing as the two guitarists had no amps connected to their guitars (the organisers probably thought that us oldies wouldn’t notice that!). Then ushered into the “after party” into another bar selling overpriced food and drink with a stage containing three mic stands, guitars and a drum kit. We waited for half an hour expecting to see live music but we had to leave at 1610 to endure the walk back to get the bus, so no live music for us! No sign of an Elvis to be seen. This whole sham has clearly been designed to to con people of a certain age out of their cash and I truly feel that the organisers need to search their conscience, close this whole sorry situation and offer refunds to those of us who have been duped out of our hard earned money. I for one will be seeking legal redress to obtain compensation as I booked on the original premise of seeing an Elvis hologram, not a confusing, amateur piece of confusing nonsense - it is simply not acceptable to change the goalposts after tickets have been sold.
Very poor show
Very poor show, using Elvis legacy as a cash cow, Feel sorry for the actors who gave their all.
AVOID - not as advertised
I’m surprised EPE have worked in partnership with Layered Reality on this ‘immersive’ experience. The experience’ needs to close down and people refunded their money back. The unique selling point of Elvis AI and holographic performance did not happen.
The company that was hired for these effects, Technicolour, went into liquidation in February 2025 so Layered Reality knew well in advance that they would now not be able to deliver the performance and experience as originally announced and advertised. People have been mis-sold tickets.
Read this before you waste your money on these scammers.
As many people I come from a family of Elvis Presley fans and I am a big fan myself. I was not hoping for a complete hologram experience like many people who had assumed it could be like the Abba concert, but I was at least hoping to have a bit of fun listening to a good band and feeling the atmosphere of what this is experience was hoping to present. Unfortunately, NONE of this happened. We paid money for an experience that was to say the least, boring, disappointing and most of all, embarrassing. These people are using Elvis Presley to make money in the worst way possible. We literally sat there looking at pictures that we’ve all seen before and watching the same 4 actors play different roles. Even the band weren’t playing their instruments. It was a joke and doesn’t even deserve one star.
This show is shockingly poor
This show is shockingly poor. It is like an amateur dramatics production - very unprofessional. There is nothing new here at all. Very disappointing.
Please don't wast your money and read the reviews on Elvis Evolution's Facebook page.
Elvis Evolution on fire! ❤️🔥🕺
Elvis Evolution is an absolutely wonderful show!
It exceeded my expectations!
It's not just a show, it's a wonderful journey back in time, through Elvis's childhood and musical career.
The atmosphere created and the actors' performances were incredibly moving. I felt like I was stepping back in time, observing Elvis and the important and emotional moments in his life. Elvis Evolution takes you to a beautiful place where it all begins, allowing you to get closer to his music and life like you never knew. I had a wonderful time watching this concert with my friend. By the end, we were moved, and I saw that other people had similar reactions. Great job, Elvis Evolution, and thank you for bringing Elvis, his life, and his music back to life from a completely different perspective. It was different than a regular holographic concert; for me and my friend was really special, it was great!
Do not give this your hard earned money. Avoid completely.
I genuinely feel for anyone who spent £300 on this – even at £75 per ticket, Elvis Evolution is an appalling waste of money. The actors clearly gave it their all, and I don’t fault them, but the direction of the production was poor from start to finish. Disjointed, uninspired, and utterly lacking in the energy or charisma you’d expect from something meant to celebrate Elvis. Wrongly advertised by miles.
Much of the show relied on clips you could easily find on YouTube – hardly the "immersive" experience that was advertised. The drinks were overpriced and watered down, adding insult to injury. I didn’t even bother staying for the so-called “after party” – most people didn’t. The atmosphere was flat, and everyone around us looked deflated and disappointed.
Strangely, the show seemed more focused on Sam Bell than Elvis himself, which left many people confused and annoyed. It was hard to believe this was meant to be a tribute to the King of Rock and Roll.
The only real highlight? Hearing other audience members express the same shock and dismay. Comments like “hours of my life I’ll never get back” were echoed again and again. Unfortunately, I couldn’t agree more.
Save your money and your time – do not go.
After sleeping on this and realising how poor the event was, taking into account all the reviews others have left so this is not an isolated incident I reached out for a refund. I received copy and pasted template response (different front colour and style) acknowledging my complaint but refusing to give even a partial refund. I have used a site to identify that they have changed their website many many times in the previous month, possibly to ‘cover themselves’ to ‘avoid misrepresentation’. Which to me tells me they are deliberately scamming people. I really wouldn’t give them any of your hard earned money, it was a shocking experience for the price paid and completely not what was promised.

I wouldn’t leave any stars if that was an option for a shambles of a show .Went on the 19 July went with an open mind but after 10 minutes was so disappointing.During the 68 comeback part a fight broke out between some members of the audience and the stopped the show .Please please don’t waste your money on this complete sham .Cheaper to watch the Elvis movie .
All shook up (disaster)
Elvis Evolution promised cutting-edge AI, jaw-dropping visuals, and the thrill of the King brought back to life — instead, it delivered long queues, cramped rooms, and a “concert” that was little more than a few old video clips on a big screen. With no hologram, no real immersion, and all the atmosphere of watching YouTube in a crowded pub, this overpriced nostalgia cash-grab left me less “All Shook Up” and more “Return to Sender.”

An absolute disgrace to the king of rock and roll. I think every member of the paying public has been totally misled and mis-sold an experience that promised so much and delivered so little. This company must halt all shows and offer refunds to everyone who has been cheated out of their hard earned cash.

This fiasco is absolutely shocking
This fiasco is absolutely shocking, no holographic images, no AI that was promised just very poor actors and singers trying to do their best with all the heckling that is going on from very upset and disgruntled customers who have paid lots of money for a cheap amature show, its beyond belief that they are continuing to keep on opening and ripping hard working people off. Stop this now and refund all the people you have mislead.
Elvis would be so upset
Elvis would be so upset, this is a disgraceful show. the organisers have lied about the show and taken money out of fan's pockets, with no intention to give any value for money. Even the cast of singers have walked out on occasion, shows being randomly cancelled when fans are on their way, and one man being forcibly ejected because he dared to voice his dissatisfaction and disappointment. For goodness sake, read the reviews, cancel it and refund the monies paid. Take time to regroup and think about the future, perhaps next time. Us Elvis fans are loyal to the core and will defend his memory!
Not good Value!
Visited this Elvis 'immersive experience' with my 79 year old mum who is a great Elvis fan. We purchased the standard tickets at launch when there were not yet reviews! In fact, we were supposed to visit before the delayed launch. Launch was delayed because the experience was not ready so we thought it would be really special once completed.
The experience is divided into broadly 3 sections. Without going into great detail only the last section is quite good. Here footage of Elvis has been enhanced and he is shown on screen while a live band play along live.
Parts 1 and 2 were a bit laughable (cheesy) at parts.
The actors (4) and live band (3) were good. But, the whole experience was missing energy apart from the last 25 minute section. I knew a hologram was not part of the show anymore but heard other visitors expecting one.
The 'After Party' is a solo singer with 2 band members playing 'Elvis' inspired music. Again, the experience was missing the rock n roll vibe and energy, not helped as most visitors were not very happy.
Not worth the standard ticket price and definitely robbery for the 2 tiers of premium tickets. From what I could see they got a blue coloured drink at the interval and seating (as opposed to standing) for a couple of parts.
Food available to purchase at the he end was ok, not amazing but not disappointing as the actual immersive experience. We had burgers.

HIGHLY CONNING SCAM,promised a hollogram so bought tickets just to see the hollogram to then days be4 get told there is no hollogram,so did not go as i payed to see the hollogram there refusing to refund me even tho its them that misled us just for our money.so im doing letters to them be4 taking court action.scamming company and see tickets is just as bad
Get your money back
I agree with the other comments. First hour about Sam and not Elvis. Felt very let down as we had VIP tickets but did not feel like they understood the concept.Unorganised, miserable staff,, not worth the money and there is no recourse for such an appalling show which was approved by Graceland's. This was a birthday present but one I wish to forget. 20 minutes for a drink included with our ticket but nowhere to sit and enjoy it.
Beyond terribel
This a con! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!.
We went on Friday with our expectations reset…. We went knowing we’d been misled/misold and there would be no holograms, no VR and no ground breaking AI. But as we were a group, with 1 travelling from abroad, and the rest of us from across the country, we decided to make the best of it.
There is nothing I can really say that hasn’t already been said but here’s a couple of bits:
It was akin to a poor amateur dramatic farce you’d see for a tenner. There was nothing at all immersive about it. The ‘stars in their eyes’ doorway had us in stitches. The train journey…. It was nothing like a train!! And the time travel effects….. omg……really??
The acting was frantic, unintelligible half the time. we did feel extremely sorry for the acting team though, the scripts and sets are dreadful.
It has pretty much nothing to do with Elvis…. who cares (or even knew) about Sam Bell?? The video of the 68 special, and the sound quality, was dreadful too. The few bits of ai were abysmal.
We wasted our hard earned money on this debacle (yep, unfortunately we went vip so £180 a ticket but it’s not even worth the £80).
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY TICKETS! Support a local Elvis fan club branch or use the money to see the new Elvis film ‘Epic’ when it’s released…. or just keep it in your pocket, anything but visiting this travesty against Elvis’ legacy.
Elvis was not in the building
I’m hoping this review helps save at least one person from making a bad choice! Myself along with friends purchased tickets to see the Elvis show last Friday evening. Being realistic we understood the king left the building decades ago so weren’t expecting a meet & Greet, but to celebrate his story and rejoice with some of his fabulous hits, In the words of Phoebe Buffay “ My eyes, my eyes!”.
After entering the building full of the hopes like a kid at a birthday party, what was to follow was far from exciting or even relevant.
Advertised as “ walking in Elvis’ blue suede shoes” felt more like walking on the sad soles of previous guests!
The sound system was not upto scratch and hard to comprehend what the actors were saying. In an attempt to remind the guests of what we were supposedly there for were badly pixelated photos of Elvis. With Artificial intelligence what it is and the ability to make a cat talk and sing they really could have done better.
To sum up this show, the staff looked like they had abandoned all hope, it’s hard to imagine this snowflake of a show will survive, it has wings but doesn’t have a prayer 🙏
Absolute disgrace …
We arrived at and were in the queue at are ticket time 13.45pm and were told we were too late the show had started we were told to return at 4pm . These were gifts did not see original email that says you have to arrive early. We were ushered into the 1st experience room where we sat for 35 minutes on what would be described as a dark very warm Railway carriage then an announcement there was a technical fault but they are now ready to start. We got through the painful start of the performance when someone appeared on the stage and said the actors will not comeback out due to some heckling I did here some laughing but not heckling and we were not involved. At this point we left the room as we were advised it was not to continue. We approached the staff for a manager and after sometime this young lady arrived and issued is with a small card to request a refund refusing to issue a refund at the show. No garuntee we will even get a refund. This was the worst experience we have ever had there was just talk of Elvis growing up and some video in the back ground from what we got to see. This show was a disgrace and the problems were not dealt with in any way the staff were clueless and said we can't do anything. They are taking peoples money very easily based on the great name of Elvis they should be ashamed. We want our money back we did not see a show or receive the experience they cancelled it !!!!
