Emcare Travel Clinic Reviews 

Having dealt with Emcare (Glasgow) before I had no qualms about using them again as they had delivered fantastic service in the past. On this recent occasion I initially dealt with Lorna Leyden and then with a nurse named Doreen Molloy. The service provided by both of them far exceeded my expections - particularly in these times when it is often extremely difficult to get thriough to a company let alone receive wonderful service. Not only did they both satisfy my requiremnts but went "above and beyond" so to speak! I would recommend them without hesitation.

Found Emcare through a google search for travel vaccines before a trip to Africa. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very informative, happy to answer any questions. Highly recommended!

The staff are very helpful, informative and friendly.
We worked through my travel plan for my partner and I to ensure we were fully vaccinated. Pleased to say it was painless :-)
Additionally, the travel centre was perfectly located opposite Glasgow central. Therefore all in all would thoroughly recommend.

Highly recommend. I recently contacted Emcare Travel to book travel vaccines for an upcoming trip. I attended an initial consultation and two additional appointments to receive three doses of a vaccine. All appointments were confirmed by e-mail with a reminder text sent two days before. Friendly staff with great travel health knowledge and advice. Excellent city centre location. Will be recommending to all family and friends. Thanks

I've visited Emcare frequently over the last 6 months, for travel vaccinations and other enquiries.

Lorna is friendly, helpful and very thorough. On several occasions she has gone beyond the call of duty to help me and my husband get our travel vaccinations sorted. Considering how solidly-booked their calendar is, she goes out of her way to give you the support you need. I know that I can call Emcare, ask for Lorna, and that I'll be in excellent hands.

Laura, the nurse who delivers the vaccinations, was equally supportive, and very efficient too.

Sometimes with these types of services you can feel like you're communicating with machines. But with this team you're communicating with humans who really care about their job, and their customers.

Unfriendly for kids & terrible administrative management. I booked an appointment for my kids however, when we arrived the nurse was really unfriendly with us due to my kids they were a little scared about the vaccination procedure as all i
of the kids on this age. (2&5 years old).
On my next visit we attended the appointment moreover, she was really unfriendly with us and she denied to offer the vaccine to my daughter because she was a little upset and scared.Furthermore, i was wondering who of the kids they are going happy and confortable for their vaccination.

Unfriendly Nurse
I had the worst experience with a Medical Advisor due to her unfriendly behavior.Further from our first appointment, she emailed me, if i want to arrange her an appointment for us i must be attend just with one of my kids per time because she is not feeling confident to offer a vaccine, if both of my kids attending.

Terrible Administrative Management

Finally, when we tried to book an appointment they contacted to us 4th times until the final booking, they said to us that their secretary has been on her annual leave holiday so they have been some gaps on their timetable
management.
In addition, during of my payment procedure they took of my credit card over £85, Finally they passed late apologises on that.

Myself and my kids we had/have the worst experience ever in there, such a terrible management.

I’ve been to Emcare at least few times. Amazing, caring and dedicated staff apart from a fairly young woman who seemed to be the manager and always has a headset on for answering calls. Condescending and very bossy with her staff even those almost twice her age, especially in front of the customers! This kind of behaviour could potentially ruin the reputation of the whole clinic by looking down on both staff and customers, and create an unfriendly working environment. I would definitely not have such a person as an employee in my company who doesn’t show an understanding of people skills and take satisfaction in exerting authority, even if it’s a family member. This goes hand-in-hand with customer service by this person too.

Easy to get an appointment booked with text and email reminders beforehand. Friendly welcome by the receptionist and nurse. Would thoroughly recommend the service.

Printed out and emailed additional information and made it easy to keep a track of which vaccines I received. Thanks for a very efficient and effective service.
