Very good guidance and tailored help

I first started using Empowerly Junior year, where I first met my counselor Yasmin. Yasmin helped guide me through the correct steps to focus on for a smooth transition into Senior year and college applications. I have felt so supported throughout the application process, and especially with the Essay Editing and Adcom Feedback tools. I can’t recommend Empowerly enough!

My son, now a senior, has been working with Ben since his sophomore year. Ben has been incredibly supportive — always organized, communicative, and flexible. He guides students with warmth and clarity and even offers sessions on weekends when needed. As a parent, I’ve seen how much confidence and focus my son has gained from working with him. We’re very grateful for Ben’s guidance and Empowerly’s program.

Empowerly has been so helpful to me for my journey applying to college. They offer so many resources from essay editing to providing scholarships and internship opportunities. The counselors have done such a great job supporting me and helping me keep track of the steps I need to take when applying to college!

We started with empowerly over the summer and so far we have received positive experiences. We chose to have a primary counselor for overall college planning and a secondary counselor for more specific medicine field related counseling.

I truly love Empowerly for so many different reasons. My counselors help me tremendously with ideas for college, along with telling me what specific colleges are looking for. The Empowerly page has so many unique sites and resources that I can use; it is amazing!

So far the experience with Empowerly has been good, everything the counsellor has instructed us on has been perfectly followed and executed, we are waiting for the results now. The Empowerly counsellor is good so far from what we know, my daughter has done and is doing everything that he is asking her to do, at the end the result is what speaks for the program. We are new to this college admission process and this is such an important milestone in a student's career and life, so we have trusted Empowerly to help us with this decision. I hope it works out great, we are waiting for the results, I will post another review if my daughter really made it to the college of her choice.

#3 - The counsellor has also committed to helping us make an all inclusive decision considering the college reputation, the cost, the financial aid and the fit for the program etc.

Empowerly has aided me a lot in the process of college counseling. As an only child, I didn't really understand the complexities of the process, but Empowerly helped me solve all my issues. I got to meet so many counselors, and choose one that best suited my personality. Additionally, I really enjoyed the essay editing tools and ADcom review that have allowed me to get feedback on my essays and application before I submit my applications. I would recommend Empowerly to anyone needing clarification or guidance in the process of college applications!

Our experience with Empowerly was worth every penny. Our counselor, Allison, was extremely experienced in putting together a plan to submit our best college applications possible. She guided my daughter through the whole process, helping her with a comprehensive strategy to apply to some of the most competitive schools in New England. She made herself available during off-hours for meetings. She sent us all detailed meeting notes and next steps to make sure we were on track to meet our deadlines to submit. She edited essays, extracurriculars and all content. She helped us leverage the Empowerly review team and brough several resources to the table to help us communicate my daughters resume in ways he would have never thought of. Our family truly appreciates all the effort Allison put in and we would work with them again in a heartbeat.

I did not have great experience with Empowerly as a senior, a few years ago, but my sister has changed my perspective on Empowerly. Her counselor Megan is very responsible, knowledgeable, and caring. She is truly making a big difference in this application season and I can tell that she is being a big help to Annie, helping her through this process. I began working with Empowerly in early August to help prepare, manage, and revise my college applications. Thanks to their one-on-one counseling service, I was able to get excellent insight on how to write a strong main essay and supplemental essay with guidance from my counselor, Cheryl. I am so grateful for the resources and advice I have received to really solidify and strengthen my overall application!

My daughter Annie is a senior in high school, and working with Megan from Empowerly has been a wonderful experience. Megan is incredibly organized and consistently keeps everything on track. We’ve been working with Empowerly, and specifically with our son Aarav’s college counselor, Shahrukh — and we could not be happier with the experience.

From day one, Shahrukh has taken the time to really understand who Aarav is: what he’s interested in, what he’s genuinely excited by, and what he wants for himself long-term. His guidance is not generic or checkbox-driven. Instead of trying to force Aarav into a cookie-cutter profile, he builds around Aarav’s actual strengths and passions.

What we appreciate most is the balance he brings. He’s incredibly encouraging and motivating, but he’s also honest. He doesn’t sugarcoat how difficult it is to get into Aarav’s dream schools. He shows Aarav clear examples of what it takes — the level of work, the depth of commitment, and the type of impact top schools are looking for — and then helps him map out how to get there. That combination of support and realism has been invaluable. Shahrukh is also intentional about helping Aarav grow, not just “package” himself. He highlights what Aarav already does well, while actively pushing him to strengthen areas of opportunity.

We would highly recommend Empowerly, and especially Shahrukh, to any family. They focus on your child as an individual — their interests, their voice, their goals — and that makes all the difference.

Empowerly is a great way for me to work on my college applications in the most beneficial and helpful way! I am so happy to get to work with them.

Mr.Malik knows the college admission process so well that I haven’t felt like there’s a question he couldn’t answer. I never felt behind because he sets the pace of what needs to be done and when to do it. I also appreciate Emma and Joyana for their helpful input on my essays, especially their thought-invoking questions that get me going.

It is pleasure to work with Empowerly for my daughter’s college counseling. We just got started and had 3 sessions so far and it was clear that we want to go with them. I interviewed 3 firms before and was looking for some level of customization to my daughter’s needs as opposed to fixed packages others sell. Empowerly did everything to accommodate our requests.
