£100 Theatre vouchers wasted

Tried to use my £100 they’re vouchers but apparently they are only valid for 12 months despite having no date on them. I explained I had been going through chemotherapy and other treatment for breast cancer and was told there was nothing they could do. So disappointed!
Tried ringing and message says no calls can be taken as employees are all working from home! Shocking!

Encore tickets are nothing more than a scam

I paid more for the tickets than if i had bought them directly from the theatre and when i tried to exchange them for another date i was not able to because i did not buy their rip-off ticket protection. From now on I will never use a company like this, Seat Plan etc and will always buy my tickets directly from the theatre.

Terrible company.

Terrible company.
Trying to get a refund for cancellation due to illness but their website details take you to a reputable company's helpline!
Avoid, and perhaps also Seatplan who I bought the tickets from. They refer you to Encore who refer you.....

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU COULD GET SCAMMED

Please be aware that this Company are likely to cancel your tickets at the last minute, if they can find someone who is prepared to pay a higher price. We booked on Booking.com, in the knowledge that there was a booking agent involved - TTG Encore - but assumed Booking.com would not endorse such a SCAM. Our tickets were cancelled with less than 2 hours notice and when we approached the box office we were told that TTG Encore had advised that our payment had not gone through, hence the tickets were cancelled. This is a LIE. The box office admitted that this was not uncommon…..so I guess the lesson that I would like to pass on is, DO NOT TRUST TTG Encore or Booking.com or risk being very disappointed and hung out to dry.

Terrible communication, unreachable service

Terrible communication. No phone number. Not sure if outright scam but very stress inducing re ticket bookings in London which is expensive. No response in over three weeks. If you've booked via activity superstore would contact theatre directly or consider indemnity money via PayPal or bank of purchase. If I haven't heard soon I will get a crime reference number but be warned.

Hopeless service

I booked a London theatre break with my railcard. I was not given any information about when I would actually get my tickets and tried to phone Encore several times only to get the message saying they couldn't answer the phone as staff were working from home. They gave me a web address to use and this had a broken link on it so I couldn't use it. I persisted and got through eventually to a chatbot, and was told I'd receive my tickets at 7:30 p.m on 12/2/25. (The show was at 7:30 p.m the following day). Needless to say this did not happen. It is no earthly use to not be able to talk to a human being. If I could give zero starts, I would do so. Thankfully the theatre itself was able to print my tickets.

Had no idea I was buying from these…

Had no idea I was buying from these people. Thought I was working with a team called Seatplan.

They have taken my money and will not let me rebook seats even though their website has accepted the voucher code twice.

I have now spent £120 on two different bookings to get three seats to see The Mousetrap. I currently only have two seats. Im livid!

I have bought tickets for Fiddler on…

I have bought tickets for Fiddler on the Roof for Saturday 28th September. I bought the tickets on 17th August 2024. I have not received the tickets. I have searched for how to contact Encore Tickets and there is no way to contact them. This is very poor service. Can anyone help. Still a few days to go.

No booking confirmation and company uncontactable

This is the second time I have used London Theatre or Encore Tickets. The first time was for Mary Poppins and was OK, but this time, for Mean Girls, I paid a fair amount for stalls seats at the front 9 months before show was out and didn't even get a confirmation email of my ticket reservation. As it was nearing the day of the show, I started to get nervous that I'd been defrauded as when I went to the website to query, there was no way of contacting them. I used their chatbot and repeatedly got told that they had 'lost connection'. I found a number to call them on because fortunately the first time I booked tickets with them for Mary Poppins, I had done so via Paypal and there was a phone number present on my Paypal confirmation. I called and just got a voicemail saying everyone is working from home so they can't take my call?! I contacted Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) tickets directly as I knew they had issued the tickets to Mean Girls and they put me through to Savoy Theatre. Fortunately, I had noted when booking which seats we had booked and they were able to match to my name and said the tickets were actually bought via TodayTix (so London Theatre had resold me tickets from TodayTix) and I could go to the theatre and they would print out for me. It wasn't necessary as at about 1pm on the day of the actual show, the tickets came through from London Theatre/Encore Tickets to me. It was a stressful and time-consuming rollercoaster as I not only thought I'd been defrauded but also would be disappointed and not able to see the much anticipated show with my daughter. From now on, I will just get tickets direct from TodayTix or theatre group directly to avoid this stress!

Kids free week but still got charged for a child!!

I purchased a ticket for the blippi show in the kids week for my son.. only later to find out he could’ve gone for free with almost every other organisation as it was kids free week. When I contacted this organisation they said they couldn’t do nothing for me.. I’ve wasted £22.5 on my sons ticket meanwhile he could’ve gone for free.. the whole kids free week is to motivate parents to go theatre more and make it more affordable for them, this organisation only thinks about their own pockets.

Don’t book with this company! Stay away

Good customer service

I bought discounted, non-refundable tickets for The Mousetrap via Encore Tickets. However then my friend got Covid... Encore Tickets let me change my ticket without charging a fee - despite the fact they didn't have to. Really pleased with the great customer service - thank you!

Dreadful - AVOID

Booked two tickets via Seat Plan (Encore do their ticket fulfilment). No e-tickets received so chased 48 hours before, reply you will receive them 24 hours before. No tickets 24 hours before so chased again, no replies to emails this time, tried phoning but their phone lines says that lines are closed because staff are working from home. Which is ridiculous as you can answer a phone from anywhere!
Show was yesterday and my tickets were sent 9.40am this morning.
Others have said a scam, I think maybe just incompetence!

A very dubious organisation…

Received a ticket number today (20.02.24) for a show I booked 30.12.23. No confirmation before now.
Just the ticket number. No date of show, no time of show, No Venue of said show for which I paid £42.00. Just a ticket number.
Contacted the phone number - Office closed, all operatives working form home. A hurried ...'please visit our FAQ's for a broad range.......' does not suffice. I would like a Specific answer to a Specific Question. No encore, I won't repeat this mistake.

No ticket confirmation but resolved with contact

Didn’t receive a ticket confirmation for my booking last month for a show tomorrow - although the payment to Encore tickets was on my bank statement. However, just went on Encore/ LondonTheatre website and used the chat to log a ticket and also completed the online contact form. Got an acknowledgment emails for both contacts, quickly followed by 2 emails from Esther in response to both chat/ contact form - with my tickets attached. So resolved but effort needed given missing confirmation- hence 3 stars.

Crooks supplier

Booked tickets online, payment made £352, no confirmation, no tickets! I feel stupid not having checked with Trustpilot before.
This website should be removed from the net, how can they get away with stealing from so many people...!?
Stay away from it!!!!
