Staff are amazing

Staff are very friendly, with quick responses to my emails. They we’re amazing and very supportive when sorting my move to a different property after the landlord pulled out 5 days before the move(no fault of Enfields). India answered every email/query quickly and very friendly …no matter how silly I thought the question might be, ever email got a response. They went above and beyond, even printed my parking permit for me on move in day and on my second day when I couldn’t work out the hot water they sent someone out to assist me within the hour. Best estate agents I’ve used so far!

Enfields has been my letting agent for…

Enfields has been my letting agent for over three years and have been very good. At the latter stages when the letting came to an end Emily Kelsey in property services was my link person who was very good indeed. She even tried to help me over her weekend off!

Awful communication and low standards…

Awful communication and low standards for customer care.
Made an offer for a house a year ago and sellers finally pulled out after a year! Not their fault. But during this time the communication was really poor, not keeping us in the loop nor responding emails.
When the sellers pulled out they didn’t even ring us to inform us about what had happened. Just a line in an email letting us know that the sellers withdraw the property from the market.
Not very empathetic after the long, frustrating and expensive process that it was.
I now avoid to show interest in any property they manage. Really disappointing.

Tenant unfriendly - avoid

Unfortunately, Enfields Estate Agents took over from another management company managing my tenancy.

The staff are non responsive despite continuous attempts to communicate when a repair is required.
Had no issue with the same landlord previously.

No transparency at all in timelines.

I had to contact my Council for legal help to finally get a response.

If you are a prospective tenant - avoid !

Never use them again

I have contacted them regarding one property, to make some arrangements for viewing,twice was cancelled by them with excuses we don't have the keys for the property,lost my wages and travelled 2 hours one way,I am not local,that happened twice. Multiple times called them,very busy never want to talk to just excuses we will call you back that never happened. I am not sure why they are treating people like that,no need showing your bad attitude. Someone should take these complaints very seriously it affects on your agency. I am really interested to buy a property in Southampton, but I will never use this Agency again. I am not sure what is all about that property,like they don't want to give you a chance to see the house, and give an offer,I am prepared to give much bigger offer I have told them by phone.They don't want to know about, just avoiding me,really concerning.This is very sad and awful experience,not sure how I deserve this.Thank you

Great service from Morgen

We always receive a great service from Morgen who is very caring, responsible, patient, polite and professional in resolving our maintenance issues very promptly. Excellent communication and I can't fault her or Enfields so far.

Hugely disappointed.

Placed an offer after an open house viewing. 4 offers given in including ours. A lot of comms to chase ‘is this my limit..?’. Ran around providing ID check & proof of funds info etc...Offer declined. Told “if anything changes will of course be in touch”. Subsequently I saw it came on the market again (not contacted by agents). Agents already had viewings booked in. (Still no contact). I rang & resubmitted my offer. Ran around providing ID check & proof of funds info etc again. After upping my offer was accepted. 2 weeks later was contacted by agents “a larger bid was offered (£490,000) original list price £450,000 / £475,000. Agent calls “can I up my offer” ...reply “no”. Agent calls again / sellers sticking with you “ full steam ahead”.
Today @ 3.30pm - gazumped 😞. Lost money to solicitors etc...
Such a shame there is no integrity or moral compass. Just all about money.

First class service

The quality& efficiency of service I have received from Matthew and Joe (Mortgage Advisor) at Enfieds Shirley was amazing and impressive. They were very polite, calm, excellent communication, incredibly knowledgeable and resonsible. They guided and helped me step by step from beginning to end. Matthew did a great job to negotiate every party for my purchase completion on time.
Thank you very much and definitely recommend.

Rubbish! Would not recommend

The customer service and communication is absolutely disgusting. 3 times we have been messed around!! took half day to view a property and i was called an hour before to cancel. Rebooked and left work early, got there only to be told it was cancelled again.
Very unprofessional and complete time wasters. Would not recommend at all!
They don’t even deserve 1 star

Didn’t have a great experience with…

Didn’t have a great experience with Enfields. The estate agent who took us around to view that flat was not helpful at all and didn’t ‘sell’ the property. He came off very miserable and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. He also mentioned there wasn’t much interest in the property. We put in an offer on Tuesday to be submitted to the landlord and was told we should hear by Friday. Friday came around and the flat was sold without telling us. I believe this was a very poor way of dealing with us as we were not kept in the loop about our sale nor were we told that anyone else has shown interest on the property. Poor work ethic and not organised. My partner and I were very disappointed as we really liked the apartment and were both gutted that we didn’t get a chance nor was we kept in the loop.

Selling my Mums House

We needed to sell our family home in Shirley and obtained three estate agent quotations and decided to go with Enfields as they offered the best competitive fee for selling the property.
We initially dealt with Will ( the manager) who was very knowledgeable about the local area, knew exactly where the property was and its aspect.
They suggested an open day and took full control on the day, they put forward the best 4 offers and we accepted one.
From then, we dealt with Matthew through to completion, he was very polite, professional and kept me informed all the way through the process, I would highly recommend this company if you have property to sell in this area

Lettings Hell.

After 6 months in an apartment block that was continually broken into, and nothing was done to secure the main entrance (drug paraphernalia and theft on a weekly basis) combined with an absolute shambles of a Lettings office, with terrible communication and devious delaying tactics for all complaints.
Final nail in the coffin they wouldn't return the deposit even though we gave much notice (4 phone calls to confirm dates and settlement requirements), and vacated the flat in perfect condition 14 days prior to final date, allowing the flat to be marketed.
WHITE COLLAR CRIME AT IT'S FINEST...BEWARE.

Dealing with the Property Management Team (Morgen & Georgia)

I recently contacted Enfields in Shirley to enquire whether they needed a maintanance company to work with them. Since that contact I have received work from both Morgen and Georgia. At all times they have been very professional in their approach and are polite at all times resulting in them providing an excellent property management team. They have always responded to my queries either the same day or early the following day.

My property has been rented out via…Enfields, Shirley, Southampton

My property has been rented out via Enfields for the past 5/6 years. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Not always impressed with some of the tradesmen that are sent out to fix maintenance issues. During the last 5 months both Georgia Steel and Morgan Hobbs have had to deal with most unpleasant tenants that have rented my property. They both have been incredibly supportive to me and have had to endure frequent unpleasant phone calls from the tenants. I have really appreciated all they have done to help me. They both deserve medals 🏅 I would thoroughly recommend Enfield for both Rental and Selling properties.
