My customer service representative for EQI was very professional and clearly outlined what was required to release my funds. In addition Ramsiya was also patient with me as my Internet connection was quite slow but Ramsiya gave me enough time to follow her instructions.

This may be related to artificial restrictions placed on this being a companies sharesaver scheme maturity and it's transfer to EQi.
However:
An investment platform that can only tell me what my investment is worth TODAY and the difference in price since YESTERDAY... end of information, seems rather paltry.
If I want to see what it was worth 2 days ago? Nope.
On a specific date? Nope.
"You can look up the share price of the underlying stocks!" (paraphrased but genuine customer support response) - which... anyone can do from google.
I ended up having to take the number of shares held in particular stocks, look up the share price(s) on the day, manually calculate what each group of stocks was worth, add them together to work out my pot value on a particular date.
That's INCREDIBLY simple math for a computer to do on request and is surely the most basic info an investor would want from an investment platform?! Certainly a very basic standard seen in most other platforms looked at ("how is my investment doing this week, am I up/down, what direction is it heading?" 1 simple graph).
Seemingly asking too much. Avoid.

Worst customer service ever. Spoke to someone called Thabasum who was based in India who was persistently very rude and didn’t help in the slightest. She kept sighing every time I had a question, indicating she was fed up at being asked questions. Not what you expect from customer service. Felt like she was fed up and wanted to be somewhere else. Eqi customer service and service in general is abysmal for such a supposedly reputable company.

Advisor had good communication skills, listening to my request, and checking understanding of my requirements before offering guidance and support throughout. He was excellent in explaining the various steps, displaying that he was knowledgeable about transaction I wanted to complete. Giving various options for me to consider and then following up on the option I opted for.
