This is the 3rd time we have used Eric Robinson's conveyancing services and second time with Sajith Pillai as our solicitor to complete our sale and purchase. We have been even more impressed this time around and Sajith worked tirelessly and meticulously. Our sellers solicitors were really slow and our agents were equally as poor in supporting the process so Sajith really worked hard to get all the necessary details but always with our best interests and needs at the centre. Their online portal also made everything really easy in terms of sharing documents and providing signatures. This meant there was minimal disruption to our busy working lives but also our family life with 2 young children. We don't want to move again but if we needed to, we wouldn't hesitate to use Eric Robinson again. Thank you!

The solicitor was very slow to respond in the beginning and there was a distinct possibility of losing the sale at one point because of this. I received reasons for the slow response.
After this poor start the solicitor was excellent and responded extremely quickly to any queries, and the sale went through without any further glitches.

It's been a long time since we have needed a conveyancing solicitor so everything is now done online which was very efficient. We didn't ever meet our solicitor Sarah, but the communication was on the whole prompt and knowledgeable and we completed within 12 weeks. It was a cash sale with no chain.

I just bought my first home, and Angela Payne helped me. I could not be happier all around with both the purchase, and the service that Angela provided me. Her attention to detail saved me in a few instances, and her timely, professional, and accurate handling of my purchase was just fantastic. I am over the moon with this commitment, and I don't think I could have done it without Angela. I highly recommend her for your legal needs, and will use her again if/when the time comes.

To wrap up the family estate after the death of my mother was a daunting prospect. Mostly because I live over 100 miles away. My parent's wills were lodged with Eric Robinson. Sarah handled the sale of our family home. It is obvious that they have a good working relationship with the chosen estate agents.
I was kept informed of proceedings and I was able to be involved more closely with the estate agents.
Not once did I have to travel to Eric Robinsons, or spend hours sorting any issues. All was handled in a professional and confident manner. Sarah's assistant Megan was always very helpful when I phoned for help. Nothing was too much trouble.

I would not recommend Solicitor Hannah Jones, as she behaved in a very unprofessional manner from the start towards myself.
Loosing or mislaying important documents sent to her, requesting additional copies at my expense on several occasions.
This lead to her refusing to correspond at all with me throughout the 6 months it took to complete the house sale.
She ignored all my calls and never responded to my emails.

Hannah Jones behaviour caused me so much anxiety and stress which I’ll never forget, so rude and unprofessional and totally incompetent in my experience.
If you want a quick sale by a professional solicitor I’d steal clear of Hannah Jones.

Legal work not up to the level they charge.
Female lawyer who didn't even turn up to Court!!
Sympathy and professionalism - 2/10.
I asked the managers to review her conduct and of course they didn't agree so I paid and left.
Ended up using someone else.
Would not use this firm again.

Angela Payne acted as my conveyancing solicitor for the sale of my property and throughout the entire process, the service she provided was outstanding!

From initial appointment and through to completion, communication was both clear and prompt, enabling me to make informed decisions.

At times, where the transaction was being frustrated by the other party to the sale, Angela always made herself available for a phone call, providing both reassurance and soundboarding on ideas on how to keep the transaction moving forward, whilst maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times. I felt confident that she was acting in my best interests.

Angela is an excellent representative of Eric Robinson, and I am very grateful for the services she provided and would highly recommend.

We used this company for a dispute. After a few months, we decided to change company due to their slow response times, unclear advice and double billing of time. What I mean by double billing is this: Some emails came in to them that just needed forwarding on to us. They were typically attachments or one line emails. We got billed one "minimum billable period" for them to 'receive' an email, and then another for them to hit the forward button. 12 minutes billed for 1-2 minutes work. Sounds small? That's £60 to get an email forwarded, and it was their standard practice.

Shortly after complaining our solicitor completed a load of work against our instructions and billed us for it.

We disputed the bill, and the ombudsman eventually agreed with us that the double billing was not within their T&Cs but unfortunately would not intervene on the subjective element of the uninstructed work.

What would a company do at that point? Hang their head in shame at the double billing? No. Having spent £5K with them to get nowhere, they are currently threatening us with court action for the outstanding £1K bill.
