As long as you complete the…

As long as you complete the transaction, things are straightforward.

However, if you cancel a funded purchase, it is very difficult and time-consuming to have those funds returned. The company requires a level of verification unnecessary since the purchaser's payment must fully clear before anything else can happen. As of this writing I have been waiting for three weeks after my transaction was cancelled, and still no refund. Each time I escalate, there is another excuse or demand for information or verification.

Escrow.com reps admit bias to my buyer and doesnt respond to 8 emails in 7 days.

I had a lot of problems with my transaction but escrow.com was the biggest one. None of this is defamation, its all completely provable with the evidence i gathered.

Heres a fun list of things that went wrong.
1. A buyer who didn't start the inspection period for 4-5 days and escrow.com even with screenshots evidence of the buyer admitting they received the domain.
2. Escrow.com chat support said that they had a bias for my buyer because they have used the platform for a long time.
3. Escrow.com would never respond to emails. I have sent over 8 emails. To this day, my "account manager" who I'm told exists. Never emailed back. Not even once.
4. Frankly if the buyer didn't release the funds already i would have served escrow.com and the buyer with a notice of intent to sue for lack of performance.

Now escrow.com is delaying dispersing the funds after the buyer released funds after 7 days or escrow.com not responding and them not doing the right thing as i performed on my part of the deal.

This is possibly the most incompetent company on earth. They are clearly manipulating Trustpilot reviews. The support is biased towards long standing customers and does NOT respond unless you call in. And then your stuck with a very agreeable Filipino person who just calms you down and has no real power then tells you that an account manager will email you back. Then nobody will email you back. It even got so bad i started emailing them memes twice a day about how bad of an escrow company they were. STILL NO RESPONSE. DO YOUR JOB RELEASE THE FUNDS THE BUYER ALREADY SAID TO RELEASE.

Save yourself a lot of headaches folks, do NOT use escrow.com. The most incompetent operation on earth.

Update: They just told me they need to consult a relevant team after the buyer said to release funds. Are you joking? This should be automated. Send the money. What kind of scam is this.

THEY HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!

After reading the other comments here, I agree with them and will not give 5 stars to the customer representatives. Many people have sold their social media accounts and not received their money. No one received their money in this regard. When I asked about these issues, they said they would speak to me after the funds came through. Is that a joke?

Verification process with problems, later great support

Had a verification process issue during a transaction. The first chat was a disappointment, ending with a statement that the reason for the failed verification process cannot be revealed due to privacy concerns. They promised to get back asap with more info as I had a client waiting. In heard nothing, sent another email a day later and from there on it was a great experience at last. Great detailed email answer and superfriendly and professional help in the chat to resolve the issue.
