Trustap has an old system but is a serious company

Trustap has an old system for handling business transactions but is a serious company when it comes to resolving business conflicts.

In particular Trustaps system (at the time of this review) is weak against merchants creating a complex business system and also has a button interface which places purchasers into the hands of both merchants and scammers pretending to be merchants. To sum it up: The unsuspecting purchaser has to face extreme complexity and a clogged e-mail box plus exposure to arbitrary code, and a 24 hour limit which creates a huge burden on purchasers to the advantage of the scammer or merchant.

In my case, Trustap resolved my matter after 64+ hours of negotiations with full repayments in stages. I believe Trustap got the best deal and feedback from the situation, and I upgraded Trustap from 1 star to 4 stars due to Trustaps employees display of businessman ship and abiding the law.

I suspect hat Trustap will improve its system greatly from the feedback.

We understand this may not have been clear, especially when dealing with multiple related transactions.

Trustap is a massive scam

Warning: Do not use Trustap under any circumstances. Your payouts are not safe and they can refund a buyer whenever they want. I was scammed out of $680 by trustap because they illegally issued a refund to the buyer after the complaint period ended. It clearly states in their terms of service that all transactions are final after the complaint period ends, which is clearly not the case. Their support team is just as bad. They are completely clueless and they kept giving me contradicting information for the most basic questions. It took them four whole days to tell me they refunded the buyer and I did not receive any warning whatsoever about the refund via email or on my dashboard. After looking at the reviews, I noticed many other people had very similar experiences. Trustap is a massive scam. I told all of my parters to stay clear of them. Don’t use them. They also refused to give me any compensation. I will make sure everyone is aware of their shady practices. Don’t do business with a company that violates their own rules and terms of service on a regular basis. Good riddance.

From the information you’ve provided, it appears your transaction was not conducted directly through Trustap, but instead via EpicNPC, one of our partners who uses our technology to process transactions on their own marketplace. In these cases, Trustap’s role is limited to providing secure payment processing, KYC verification, and moving funds from buyer to seller (or vice versa) on the instructions of the partner platform, EpicNPC.

Importantly, for transactions made through EpicNPC, they have full administrative control over dispute handling, release of funds, and application of their own Terms of Service. If EpicNPC decides—based on their policies and dispute resolution process—that a refund should be issued, we are contractually obliged to follow their instructions. We cannot override these decisions, as they are the governing party for transactions on their platform.

We are already in contact with EpicNPC regarding your case, but we also strongly recommend you engage directly with their support team to discuss the decision and any potential for appeal. If your transaction had been made directly through Trustap (outside of a partner platform), we would have been able to investigate the dispute in line with our own Terms of Service and provide you with a more definitive resolution from our side.

We want to reassure you—and anyone reading—that Trustap is not a marketplace, does not sell goods or services, and does not make unilateral decisions about who should be paid in disputes arising from partner transactions. Our job is to securely manage the movement of funds in line with the instructions of the platform where the transaction took place, in this case, EpicNPC.

Trustap has been great from day one, their team has been extremely supportive, friendly, and understanding of the fast-paced and often unpredictable nature of a start-up. I have waited over 10 days for my money, and still not a single dollar has hit my Bank Account yet.

I keep getting the same answer in mail where they say my money will land in my bank within next week. This can just not be real.

"Thank you for reaching out again. I understand how urgent this matter is for you, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Since your bank cannot see the transaction and the funds have not yet been received, we have contacted our payout processor.
It has been informed that the payment is still in processing and is expected to reflect in your bank by next week.
