Great to have a middleman to hold monies for added security. The person I was dealing was very nice and I would have likely to have had no issues but just makes things more secure all round. Would have been good to be able to click 'no issues' so monies could be released quicker for the sender. Overall delighted

I have been asked for more details of my review for Trustap "to better understand your experience", otherwise it will be "taken down", apparently. I've tried to add another review but the system didn't seem to let me, so I'm adding text to my previous review. I'm not sure what they don't understand, but my issue is that the dispute period ended on 12/03/23, & Trustap are blaming my bank for non receipt of the money, saying it is the bank that will take 5-7 days before I get the money. I received an email from Trustap this morning 18/01/23, timed at 00:17, finally telling me that the funds have been released, 6 days after the dispute period ended. But I still have not received the money. So I look at my Trustap transaction listing and it says "Transaction Complete! We have released the funds. Depending on your bank, they should be available in 5-7 working days." So that is another 5-7 days on top of the 6 already gone. This delay in receiving payment should be made plain and clear at the outset, and because it wasn't that is why I find it unacceptable.

The reply to Karen's review by Trustap is not correct. They say they release the funds immediately the dispute period has elapsed, but this is not the case. The dispute period ended on 12/01/23, yet the status of the transaction as of 17/01/23 is still showing as being "Funds pending". They are blaming the bank for the delay, but how can it be? Also, they hide behind the internet because you cannot call them, and that makes it difficult to resolve issues. More openness and accessibility would help users "trust" them.

I was very sad to hear that my payment had not reached the seller four days after the transaction had been completed. He had experienced difficulty reaching Trustap for advice on the delay but eventually was told his money would be delayed seven days.
I will know in future when suggesting to users that we use Trustap that there could be up to 7 days delay in money reaching their account. I feel this could be made clearer on the Preloved guidelines.

For an international transaction it was easier than I even dreamed of expecting

Just finalised a transaction beyween Turkey-UK for property purchase. Fast and efficient. Information and advice from the Account Manager,Ciara made a situation that was at times extremely fraught much easier. Her advise and help made for a very smooth transaction. Will definitely recommend and use again if necessary.

Overseas transaction that worked well with the seller. Trustap receives a fee for the service. Easy to use and very convenient. The monies keep freeze until both seller and buyer confirm the transaction. Would recommend

Very prompt replies to email queries and everything went smoothly. Would use again. We couldn't find one, but may be helpful to have a phone contact number as well for more urgent queries.

Safe and easy to use payment system. First time I have used it to sell something, but very easy and you get emails at every step to let you know what is going on, plus prompt you to enter info to move the transaction on.

Super quick and easy way to buy and sell online. Felt really confident sending my item out of the country with trustap. Their model works really well and is equally safe for both buyer and seller. Would definitely use again and would recommend to family and friends. Really easy to use and money received really quickly

I recently used Trustap to sell an Electric Picnic ticket. The buyer asked if we could use it and once I had read a little bit about it, I was very happy to do so. It gave the buyer great reassurance that I wasn’t looking to scam them, which obviously made the transaction a lot more positive! As a seller, it was very straightforward to use and the money transferred directly to my chosen bank account. I would highly recommend anyone buying/selling a ticket to use this app for greater peace of mind.

10/10 experience! Found out about trustap while wanting to purchase festival tickets from a private person.
I watched videos about trustap and it was recommended by the festival organizers.
The person didn’t want to use it (because they were a scammer) and there is no loophole in the app to apply a scam.

Thanks to trustap I was prevented from getting scammed! Would definitely recommend when trying to purchase from private people.

Simple and effective app. No issues with it and makes trades between people online very easy.

As a first time user of Trustap I am very happy. I have been scammed once before and learned my lesson so was drawn to their app. With an excellent seller who was happy to use it too there are now another two very happy clients.

Very easy product to use. Intuitive design for the end user. Both my self and the buyer had no issues. Their support is great, and their team is intentional with continuing to evolve the product for it's users.

The service was straight forward. I had a payment link set up and I just followed the instructions. It took 4 days for the payment to clear in my bank but I know that's just the way banking system works.
