Etsy have facilitated a sell of an enamelled cast-iron pan by Copco Denmark, designed by Jan Trägårdh, while wrongly claim it to be designed by the american Michael Lax. It is not.
It is not only a misguiding mistake, it is illigal and must be corrected.

poor experience they respect the seller they delete my account with no reason

I was sent the wrong item and have been trying to secure a refund since 2/9/23. This company has very poor customer service(l feel l’m being ignored now)please avoid.

First order not received and 5 emails sent no correspondence back - very disappointing after hearing good things !

Mixed feelings.
Recent spent about 2 hrs choosing something from etsy.
Finally chose the one I like best, and found one none of anything I was looking at could be delivered to the UK... I won't use websites that advertise in £, imply its from the UK, but at the last minute you find out you've just wasted your time.
Previously I've used Etsy and got some great things.
eBay have recently started forcing products down your throat from America, and do the same by implying it's a UK product, and at the last second everything switches to dollars and the prices triples with shipping. so they get 1 star. Count yourselves lucky I gave you 2stars

Stay away!!! Rubbish customer service!!!! The items received was NOT as expected. The items did NOT meet my expextations. Customer service was NOT helpful at all!!! Etsy har 73 % bottom reviews at Thrustpilot. Now Etsy get one more extremly negative review, but I presume this does not matter for ETSY. From my point of view, Etsy is a fraud company! Stay away from this company!

I Request all seller to stay away from this company, I was selling with them and in there tarm and conditions they mentioned they may held Money for up to 1 month before sending to account and I was constantly selling during Christmas, then one day my account was Randomly suspended, they kept almost £1000 I was informed to wait 6 months according to there turm and conditions due to suspended account, (didn't know why suspended anyway)
Then I sent emails no reply from them many emails but no reply, there is no number you can contact and It's over 2 years now I didn't receive any money they destroyed my motivation and completely broken my hope as a small business person i just wish May god panish all of them that are involved In this Scam.

I am not a customer but I request saty away as well because probably there is no hope for you too, if you are in trouble. How can a seller send you product if they don't receive your money from Etsy.

Over the past eight months I’ve bought from about 20 different sellers on Etsy & I’ve had medium to severe issues with 18 of them. 18!! That’s like 90%! And Etsy whom claim “protection” on your purchases have done absolutely zero about any of it. From fake opals from India (not cheap!) to fabrics claiming to be cotton & charging the price of cotton then receiving what is clearly nylon crap it’s a world of SCAMMER SELLERS with ZERO SUPPORT FROM ETSY. Not to mention the overly defensive & dishonest sellers. “I didn’t send you the replacement because I was in the hospital “. Yeah right & now that I’ve threatened you with a bad review you’re going to actually do something after a month of back & forth. Grrrrr!!!! Not only do you lose money you waste a lot of time & incur a lot of aggravation shopping on this site. The sellers are incredibly incompetent & unprofessional & yet they are charging high end prices. It used to be a place to find well made, well priced goods as there’s no brick & mortar shop overhead or middleman. Now you got jackets from China for $500 claiming to be wool & showing up totally synthetic & looking like some trash from the Halloween store. It’s ludicrous. You’re better off paying the extra $5 or often paying less & just shopping locally. Good bye Etsy you dishonest scumbags. Good bye scammer sellers I’m heading to my local artist market!

There is a guy by the name of Stacy Cave that draws pictures of all kinds. Right now on Etsy the online store he has some drawings of animals. St first I thought that they were really good drawings but then as I looked closer I started seeing things hidden inside these pictures. Things like other animals and the same animal and hundreds of other super awesome characters. Things that are so random and out of the ordinary. I have heard of drawings that hold secrets but wow this guy is amazing. Now I have seen drawings that are sort of similar but nothing comes even close to this guy Stacy's drawings. Now he has drawings that are so abstract that looking at these drawings causes my mind to instantly start flashing complicating math problems while at the same time generate recipes and barometer readings and behind all of that insignificant compilation of randomness my cerebral cortex is conjuring up past transactions of currency and monopoly plays. I mean for real you have to go look at Etsy and find this guy Stacy Cave I know you can also type in Etsy Stacy Cave and it will take you to his Etsy page you may have to scroll down a couple of lines but he's there. I'm telling every one this guy Stacy Cave is the next big thing in the art world. Go see his stuff and buy it you won't be disappointed. He is incredible amazing outstanding stupendous drawesomantasticatinglymezmorphicarious. Yeah that came to me after seeing the drawings that Stacy Cave hand drew. I bought some don't think I didn't. Go see his artwork at Etsy online.

Love Etsy!! I can always find unique and beautifully crafted products for any occasion. I have bought all sorts; from steel magnet boards, personalized cake toppers and decorations, to garden stones & statues.

All of the sellers I have bought from have been brilliant. I've only ever had two issues (neither the fault of the seller) and received immediate responses and resolves. I will no doubt be buying something lovely from Esty again soon.

The absolute worse customer service ever existed. Absolutely no reply for months. No solution anywhere for the holiday problem of the account. But of course in the meanwhile they charged me every month.
I closed my account. Adios!

Absolutely horrendous company that supports rogue traders. agreed with me that an order I recieved was NOT as described yet, because the seller who sent a rusty metal tray asked me to wash it and season it, they regarded that as 'used' and refused to help. horrible from start to finish

I got my LOTR the One Ring there. Love it

Terrible , VERY slow at paying out, they kep moving the payout date with no explanation as to why

Be very aware of this company before purchase anything from them. They literally don't care about the costumer once their money is in and the product is out..I'm still waiting for refund money in regard a very defect product they sold me . The whole thing turned into a novel of emails in the attempt to be heard by they useless costumer service in terms of solving issues they own created in the first place.. my advise, stay away from this company!

I ordered a bracelet from a seller called MalaKamalaUK. The bracelet was OK but not exceptional and I gave her 4 stars because it was really fiddly to put on. The day after I left my review I received a message through Etsy's messaging centre from the seller disputing the 4 stars and and insisting that I upgrade her to 5 stars.

I explained that 4 stars reflected the practicability and not the aesthetics of the item. I was then subjected to a barrage of insulting, harassing and distressing messages from the lady concerned even citing her mother's death as a reason why she should have an additional star.

I asked the lady concerned to stop contacting me on at least 3 occasions but she persisted and made all sorts of slurs and intimidating comments. She said she had not slept all night because of this and was crying and that her Etsy shop was the only thing she had to keep her going after her mothers death this year. I don't know about her mother but I do know that she also has an Ebay shop too.

She started sending her messages at 2.00am and continued throughout the night.

She called me a liar, she called me wicked, she said I would have bad karma and load of other stuff that I just haven't got space here for. Incidentally she prides herself on being a 'Master Rieki Master whatever that means to her.

I was appalled by her behaviour and amended the
comments on my review to let buyers know to be aware of this sellers tactics for maintaining her 5 star best seller status. Bullying people in the background and using mafioso tactics to get 5 stars.

She reported my comment to Etsy who she said then encouraged her to respond to my comment publicly. She used this opportunity to extricate her behaviour and instead portray me as being the aggressor. I was not able to refute her comments because by responding she in effect blocked me from adding any further comments.

I complained to Etsy about the bullying and the protracted harassment that this seller engaged in and to be honest their emails to me were heavily biased in favour of the seller.

To add insult to injury, I referred to numerous breaches of the Etsy terms and conditions that this seller had violated and in their final email to me Etsy said that they would 'clarify' in future updates the anomalies that I had pointed where they were in breach of their own policy. Wow, don't implement just change it to support the current narrative if it get's them off the hook!

I am in the process of closing my Etsy account apparently it cannot be closed if there are outstanding orders. Buyers are not protected and the customer services should be called 'Fob off services'.

To add insult to injury the service manager that was dealing with my case eventually stone walled by refusing to escalate my complaint to the next level and moreover said they would not be answering anymore of my emails!

I have accounts with Ebay and Amazon who both have excellent customer service.

Their staff are not familiar with their own policies and just try to get rid of you as quickly as possible.

Their are some great sellers on Etsy, but there are also some really unscrupulous individuals that should be avoided at all costs. You will not be supported when things go wrong customer services are dismissive and try to deflect and confuse your statements. The inept way they handle things is enough to give you a nervous breakdown!

Etsy while seeking reviews, will not post a negative one. What's the point if you can't warn others about a bad experience? This is dishonest and encourages less than honest sellers. No more shopping Etsy!

Etsy temporarily suspended my account for a "Suspicious Login" and they will not respond to my emails asking for help. This sites customer service is an absolute dumpster fire.
