Company being fined and investigated
I see this company has been restructured. It looks like they have been to court recently by the Competition and Markets Authority and imposed a fixed penalty of £473k for failing to comply with an information notice under the consumer rights act. Euro Car Parks tried to prevent the CMA from naming the company publicly, including trying through the high court. They failed. The CMA is now looking at a full consumer protection investigation. This is why they have restructured from Euro Car Parks to ECP Holdings. Taking the responsibility away for any fault by the company from Owner and MD Barry Tucker. Net assets increased last year by 27% to £44m. It looks like the onerous behaviour towards innocent civilians is being brought to justice. But, nothing apart from the fine imposed. Nothing in the press as they are desperate to keep it out of the press.
Sent final notice for £100 did not receive first demand. They cannot give me evidence that they issued first demand or evidence of my car and efforts to pay from faulty machine.
Arrogant, aggressive, possibly criminal, definitely extortion. Will avoid all their car parks in future. Cannot find anywhere where anyone talks positively about this company.
Euro Car Parks
Euro Car Parks. Who or what is this corporation? where did it come from? and why has it not been shut down? When you explain to them that you have no business with them, they ignore it, they steer you into an appeal system via their website, I do not believe they even properly assess appeals. Direct contact with them is made impossible by them, they hide behind no reply emails or make you use their website in which they control you and limit you to communication only on points which only work for them. Forums on line are full of their dubious behaviour, nothing about them feels honest? I encountered them, when I had a medical emergency in my car and had to pull of the main road, slowly drive around a car park controlled by them for 11 minutes, not park at all. I explained this to them, did their ridiculous appeal system which they obviously ignore. they responded by giving my details to a highly threatening debt collection agency called DCBL whom immediately increased the fake debt created by Euro car Parks. ECP, they are quick to say I can complain to the agency monitoring them which they seem to know is limited against exposing their behaviour. Anything mentioned online with regards to Euro Car Parks is always about their unacceptable behaviour and lack of accountability. We need to get this rogue outfit into the courts, we need to lobby our MPs to shut them down. I urge everyone not to negotiate with them via their evasive dishonest methods, get them in front of our courts. The CEO is Barry Tucker and researching his back ground will raise eyebrows. He really likes to stay in the shadows. ECP originate from Southern Ireland and have been enabled to set up business in the UK, EU and others locations, this is the behaviour of a corporation with banker investment. SOLUTION....all of us must coordinate, work together and create a class action suit against this rogue corporation and shut it down. I suggest setting up a facebook page to use for coordinating people and putting together the class action suit. Give me the nod here on Trustpilot and I will set up the facebook group. It is time to stand together, use our law systems to work for us.
This company is rated minus 1.
If I am honest this company is rated- minus 1.
Everything is automated and they do not listen to any defence - minus 1.
Their appeal system is very one-sided - minus 1.
If you are unlucky enough to have dealings with them BEWARE its a waste of time appealing - they do not want to know, even with their newest technologies!
My car didn't register in the pub I visited and yet my friend's car did and now after corresponding with them and sending a signed statement - guess what 'they have rejected my appeal.'
This company's morals and etiquette sit somewhere below Satan's throne!
What a disgusting company. They deserve the fine they've been ordered to pay and are currently trying to appeal. Ha! Oh the irony.
Wrongly sending people who actually paid for parking, fines. Then once this vile excuse of a company receives evidence of purchased parking tickets they STILL continue to demand payment, even sending letters informing the paying customer that they're being taken to court.
This company's morals and etiquette sit somewhere below Satan's throne!
I’d give a zero if I could
I’d give a zero if I could. I hate them. What started off as a husband and wife team. No idea how big the company is now but they are absolutely minted. Fining people just for doing their shopping. Anyone appeals I’m pretty sure they’re paid off. Slippery con artists.
Not paying see you in court 🤳
I have received a fine informing me I parked for 41 minutes at a Toby Carvery and was informed I was not a customer. I was a customer . I did not notice any pay or display machines at the Toby Carvery just pulled up and went in , parked next to my friends car who had arrived shortly before me and was waiting at the entrance . Went in and was a customer for approximately 39 minutes ( which was long enough to work out never to go again and endure the breakfast buffet ) . I am currently trying to work out why they thought I was not a customer what clause I missed on the signage I did not read that everyone else clearly does , what strange ritual people who do go to Toby Carveries know that I do not and how they assumed I was not a customer - I have appealed extremely impolitely as coming home and getting another £100 fine from another carpark company for 'living' in a town and trying to navigate it , visit friends and snatch breakfasts. I shall not be paying on any grounds and might counter fine for a bad breakfast and trauma due to fine as they are clearly gaslighting me . Telling someone they were not a customer when they were is I believe a form of gaslighting , I have had to question my reality and my reality has reassured me that I was a customer albeit never again .
No notification of parking charge until debt collector notice
My husband parked in the drop off expecting to be very quick but was delayed by long queues in store, so apparently accidentally exceeded the time limit on those spaces. We never received a a parking charge notification and the first we knew was nearly 3 months later when we received a debt collection notification of £155! The debt collection agency said their system showed Eurocarparks had sent us a letter, but we never received anything. Eurocarparks say they can only receive appeals in writing, so it could have been weeks or months more before we heard an outcome and had no option but to pay or risk court. We only got the letter from the debt agency on the last day of the 14 days payment terms according to the date on the letter (lost in the post or a scam?!)
Legal Thieves
I was only able to type out the first 5 characters of my registration then the machine at the car park jumped straight to the payment screen - I thought this was odd but assumed at the time it wasn't issue as it was more than happy to take the payment although it had missed the last 2 digits of my registration plate. Fast forward a week I've got a fine for £100. I appealed and it got rejected as they said it was a 'major keying error'. Why would I possibly have intentionally left out last 2 digits? This was clearly a machine error. They were more than happy to take the £9.50 payment to park the car on a bit of tarmac for a few hours though. I ended up paying £20 'administration fee' following the rejected appeal, so it's almost like they even acknowledge they're wrong but need to justify some sort of payment. I would normally park here 2/3 days a week, but never again, so that's nearly £1000 a year down the drain for this poor customer service.

Highway Robbers
I am astonished that this company can legally extort grossly disproportionate charged for minor divergences, innocently made, from their Ts&Cs. Is there no Ombudsman to protect us?
I recently parked in Panshanger Park. I naively assumed that parking time ran from the moment I paid to the moment I removed my car from the carpark. But no - it was from entering to exiting the Park itself. (There is a long drive from the gate to the carpark.) And so I overran by a few minutes.
PCN arrived when I was out of the country and so the charge had already jumped to £100 by the time I received it. The appeals process is a nightmare. Eventually paid up as I was so afraid of what might happen if I didn't. This company does not deserve one star!
Force you to pay before the appeal can be completed.
They provide a discount on their ridiculously extortionate fines if you pay within 14 days, but no surprised their appeal process takes 28 days meaning they force you to take a risk of doubling your fine for waiting for your appeal to be reviewed.
Even after I supplied evidence of me meeting their T&C's, I was still forced to pay, ofcourse I did not have the resources or time to appeal further.
They make a living off fining people who can't afford to miss out on the 14 day discount.

Highway robbery alive and well at Euro Car parks. Only payment machine on car park out of service and no other way to pay. Appealed with photographic evidence of out of service payment machine out of service. Appeal rejected as they say no record of machine being out of order. Will be appealing further with POPLA
Very, very poor car park
Worcester. 3 minutes over time (which was spent loading car and negotiating the pot holes out of the busy car park) attracted a 60 fine. We have appealed. Apart from the absolutely dire conditions of the land, the fine has tipped us over the edge. We won't use Euro car parks again.

Issued a fine for overstaying at a tesco car park where it was already posted on social media that the ANPR cameras were not clocking people leaving, the letter took months to get to me and then they said i could not appeal because it was too late pay £180 or get a ccj against you, so s 30 minute shopping trip to tesco cost me £180 have already reported them to the relevant people as have the proof from myself and others that their ANPR was clocking people entering the car park but not leaving, these include a disabled person who they claimed stayed there for 27 hours
Absolute rubbish customer service
Absolute rubbish customer service. Don’t ever use them unless you really have to. Despite clear evidence that a payment was made online they refused to accept it and still imposed a fine. Avoid them at all costs or else you may end up with large fines!
Parked in Ealing Broadway Morrision's carpark - Scam by Euro Car Parks
Parked in Morrision's carpark in Ealing Broadway run by Euro Car Parks. Paid the parking ticket and parked in the parking bay. Received a penalty charge a week later saying that I parked on the entrance ramp and on a NO Parking area. Appeal against it but was rejected. Wrote to POLPA to dispute against the Penalty charges. Euro Car Parks instantly withdraw the charge as they could not show that my vehicle was parked in a No Parking Area or on the Ramp Entrance. They were just trying to profit from Elderly who do not know computer to appeal. a total fraud scam by Euro Car Parks. Shame on them taking advantage of Elderly.

This company is trying to squeeze me for 170.00 pounds when I clearly have the receipts for my parking stay.
The notice came through the post 9 Months after I parked my vehicle at Birmingham 5 ways.
I still have the receipt they've sent me via email.
I have complained to them to no avail.
They dismiss any phone call or emails backed by evidence.
I will let them take me to court, maybe then the judge 👨⚖️ can talk common sense into their brains 🧠.

Halfords took my vehicle away to have a front and rear dash cam for it, they packed it on their own car park for too long which is a euro Car Parks and issued me with a ticket I've been to the Halfords store and we have emailed them 3 times i have twice, still getting letters. .. quality company 👌 👏
A massive scam to rip people off
This company should be investigated and removed from managing car parks.
A sign where I parked said I could pay via the app until midnight. So I did as soon as I got home.
They fined me for leaving before I paid.
I sent proof that I HAD paid. They rejected the appeal.
They even sent me a photo of the sign! The venue said that it was also THEIR understanding of how it worked.
I believe this to be part of an overall scam to get people to pay the fine as a easier process than appealing it. No. Enough.
Their appeals process is a sham
The customer service for this company is APPALLING. I have never left a review before but my experiences recently with this company have promoted me to do so. I accidentally ended up in a drop-off zone managed by Euro Car Parks at Gatwick Airport. I tried to pay the amount while abroad but payment required setting up an account with two-factor authentication which did not work while I was abroad. I therefore had no ability to pay. I received a fine for no payment and so appealed with evidence (screen-shots at the time to show the error messages). They rejected the appeal and did not even address the evidence provided or this possibility, which must have happened to others, so beware!
