Don’t use Euro Car Parks con artists

Don’t use Euro Car Parks con artists. Recently parked at St Martins Gate Worcester spare piece of land with more water filled pot holes and a pay machine than dry land. Paid £3 cash in machine put full reg in but days later Received parking fine of £100 time in car park states 27 minutes but no valid pay and display yet photo of car leaving shows a ticket on dash board.
Appealed
This has been declined stating ticket didn’t show complete registration it had missed the first two digits off the vehicle registration. Have settled to pay the £20 administration fee to cancel as feel if you take it further they will only support there are missing digits.
Will never park in one of there car parks again just wish I would have read reviews before parking.

Thieves Lane Car Park - Hertford

Before Euro Car Parks took over this site, had been using it once a week, for about 2 years with a lovely attendant £2.50 each time. Euros ticket machine only works on solar as we have so much sun. I keyed in my registration, machine took my money, put ticket in car window and carried on my day. Week later, received a parking ticket. found my ticket and immediately sent in an appeal. My appeal response was, as only part of my reg number appeared on the ticket, my appeal was invalid. However, as admin is involved processing my appeal, there would be a charge of £20. If I appeal again, the fee will go up to the original amount. Outrageous way to run a company, but as they are a parking company, they can do what they like and we just have to comply. MY SISTER AND I NO LONGER PARK IN THIS CAR PARK. AVOID AVOID AVOID

One Star Is Too Many

A truly inept company that has endless examples of shoddy customer service. I received a car parking fine after parking on one of their car parks. Even though I paid for the duration of my stay, their machine was faulty and didn't accept my car registration. Following three attempts to enter my reg, payment was made however no ticket provided. Almost three weeks later I received a fine in the post for £60, which would increase if I didn't pay the day after receiving the letter. My appeal was bizarrely rejected, even after providing proof of payment in the form of a bank statement, so I appealed through POPLA despite the threatening tone of ECP communication. Within 24 hours of providing the same evidence to POPLA as sent to ECP, the appeal was reviewed and charge cancelled. Bear in mind my visit was in January and finally resolved in March. Shambolic customer service which relies on everything to be sent in writing or on their poorly designed website. A needlessly difficult process to appeal and query anything, and judging by the overwhelmingly negative reviews there are plenty of unhappy customers that have used this company.

Absolute throbber of a company

Make us send a letter to appeal a parking charge because you can't do this via email, and then they just reply to your written letter by sending you an email anyway?! Surely this company can't keep ethically running and scamming everyone?

For context, I got a PCN for parking in Weavers Wharf retail park, in Kidderminster. I did not see any signs instructing me to pay for parking for my very short stay whilst I went into the shop to grab a sandwich and then left right away after. I then got a £60 fine and the wording of the letter I received is very scathing.

Firstly, what a great way of incentivising people to keep shopping in-store, rather than online.

Secondly, if you are going to con people into paying for a 10-minute stay then you should have more sufficient and clear signage. If I can't read it at the ripe age of 34 with no need for sight aid, then how many other people have been ripped off by you for parking here?!

Whilst I write this review in frustration that I've just lost £60, I am even more irritated by the fact I would have genuinely paid for my parking duration (all of 10 minutes).

Euro Car Parks - get a grip and stop robbing people.

Euro Car Parks - profiting from others’ genuine mistakes

Awful situation. Parked at Imperial, Exeter, a Wetherspoons pub for just 25 minutes for a refreshment as I was early on my way to a charity meeting. I didn’t see the signage that it was a ‘pay to park’ car park, probably because I wasn’t expecting to pay to park in a pub car park. Two weeks later I received a PCN of £100, reduced to £60 if paid immediately. Contacted Weatherspoon’s head office who refused to help so I’m saddled with a fine of £60 for not paying £1 to park my car. Last accounts for Euro Car Parks shows revenue of £103m and net profit of £11m after they have lined their pockets making people’s lives a misery.

Extortionists

The worst company known to man. No morals, no empathy, no care. My experience was at Alexandra Palace and I will never use a car park operated by them ever again.
Pure evil extortionists.

They should wear a mask with eyeholes!

No wonder you are only 1 star, you really should wear a mask with eyeholes, as you just take money that is not yours from people!

My husband drove around your car park as it said there were available spaces, there were no spaces so he drove back out again as he could not park and you have given him a £60.00 fine. He then drove around the City Centre to try and find street parking which he could not find either, so he returned top your car park to see if any spaces were now available. He managed to find one, and paid for parking the same day.

I cannot believe you have charged someone £60.00 for not being able to park in your car park, you really are a company that does not listen and does not investigate appeals correctly.

I would advise everyone to park in an NCP car park where possible, they are a far better company and do not take money from people, for not being able to park their vehicle, money for nothing you utter thieves!

They are absolute scammers

They are absolute scammers! I did pay using apple pay it clicked green as successful the ticket came out which i displayed to only receive a 100£ fine later, then I noticed it was void ticket but looks almost identical to the normal one!? I had more than enough money on my account! Also the parking itself is awful with lake size potholes!
People all the time you get unfair parking tickets always appeal with POPLA!!!

blame the uk gov and "law"

Not saying the business needs to be a scam but they have set it up so it scams and misleading Intentionaly. (if not would have fixed it if genuine) I once even paid with the smallest formality, not timing. They also lied and said there were no others to pay. Rather than just saying no had to present the proof which was clear indisputable. They just said there you go pay anyway why waste my time. and that was the point. sick and twisted individuals that enjoyed their job in misery and given no benefit to society, leeches. waiting for the law to finally be upheld in the uk maybe the law has been abolished in the uk now. Until something changes.

Was parked in the carpark at Poundland…

Was parked in the carpark at Poundland in Worcester Park. Car park controlled by Euro carparks . There is a 20 minute Limit.! Please be Aware .! Absolutely ridiculous. How can someone do any shopping in 20 minutes?
I advise all car owners to walk if need be , or Boycott these carparks . You will be fined heavily.
Beware that this Company is taking over many carparks throughout England.
Their time limit is very short.
Has happened at Dunelm in Colliers Wood, even on a Bank Holiday.!
Bring back all car parks under local control. They should be controlled by the shopping Centres and not by outsiders. They should be under British Control not European Control.

So poor and unfair

So poor and unfair. Appealed as I input the wrong registration by mistake for a hospital appointment. They did not respond so I paid the reduced charge on last day possible. Next day they responded saying they have cancelled the appeal because I paid. Where is the fairness. Unscrupulous and opportunistic company - just money making and no compassion.

Frustrating system

Frustrating system. The time starts counting from the moment you drive past the camera, not when you actually pay. I entered at 14:12, parked, and paid by 14:15, but my session started at 14:12. Factor in that buffer time or you might get hit with a huge fine.
