I withdrew €20, only after I had approved it, they announced that the feeis €5.95. That is illegal. Their customer service is crap. Its fraud and therefore crime. I reported it to police
BEWARE . Should be criminalised . I needed some cash . Inserted my debit card . They offered an extortionate exchange rate plus an outrageous fixed fee . I chose the NO button . But was forced into... See more

More scam
After I told Euronet it was 258 one star, 1 two star and no one had given any three to five star on trustpilot immediately a 5 star rating apeared here. Coincidence? I wrote in swedish about my own experience 2024-12-04.

Absolutely scumbag scam company
Absolutely scumbag scam company, withdrew $300 and paid $90 in fees. Avoid at all costs.
EDIT: Clear from their response that they are aware they are scamming people based on the fact they try to suggest that a $90 fee on a $300 transaction is just a conversion fee.

Machine kept money and Customer Service wont respond.
I tried to withdraw some money while abroad and the machine did not give me my money or a receipt but took the money out of my bank account. I contacted Euronet Worldwide when back home and provided them all the information they requested, date time location etc... but they did nothing with the information. They just kept asking for the same information again and then again and did not progress any further. I asked why the claim was not progressing and they stopped responding completely to my emails. I would avoid using any of their machines. I appreciate faults can happen but there is no excuse for not responding to emails and not returning money they should not be keeping. Euronet, if you are reading this, your customer representative is called Jem and I can provide you all emails.

Hidden Information about fees leads to unintentional payments
The information about the withdrawl fee is so small and placed in a position that could easily be overlooked, especially when withdrawing the money in a hurry. This feels misleading and not transparent, as many customers may unintentionally end up in a fee-based transaction. To maintain a fair transaction this information should be placed clear and promininently so the customers have a fair choice to either pay the fee or leave it.

Torn and Mutilated Notes
I withdrew £100 and received five £20 notes, two of which had missing parts and one was torn. The ATM was located in a shop & post office, and the shopkeeper refused to accept the damaged notes. When I called your contact number, I was told that nothing could be done and that I had to go to the bank for an exchange. The entire process took two hours and cost me £3.5. I wasn't responsible for this situation, yet I lost my time and money. This is completely unacceptable.

EURONET = SCAMMERS
EURONET = SCAMMERS. I used their ATM in Philippines. Using a US debit card. For 20000 peso they charged me close to US$400. $50 more than other Bank ATMs. The information displayed on screen was vague. You will need a calculator to figure it out. The display was 1p=.01920..There was also a warning that this the best rate available and choosing other alternative like "no conversion option" does not guarantee a better rate. It is misguiding and fraudulent.

Usury and price gouging
Usury and price gouging! Exorbitant rates and “commission” charged on ATM machines. Was charged USD $191.26 for only 150.00 Euro. A whopping 13.95% commission plus an additional 3.95 Euro Transaction fee. Should have only cost ISD $162.94 based on that days exchange rate. That’s a whopping USD $28.32 over charge! Highway robbery! Why should we have regulators? To protect capital at the expense of labor and consumers? EURONET should be fined out of existence and their executives and shareholders thrown into prison.

Scammer
I withdraw 5000HUF from euronet atm and they charged 1990HUF atm fee, which is 40% of the withdrawal amount. This fee is transparent to me when I performed the transaction. For those who travel to Europe, you should AVOID euronet atm, go for local bank atm.

Exorbitant exchange rates
Exorbitant exchange rates, more than 10% higher than legitimate banks, absurdly high transaction fees, and no indication of what charges will be until transaction completed. What other business doesn't tell you what their service costs until after you've opened your pocket? Thieves.
Euronet is a fraudulent network
They charged my bank even if I cancelled withdrawal (after seeing that they have 12% markup fees). Unbelievable! I regret not going to police and not filing official report. Someone have to stop these thieves.
Scam company they dont give commusion…
Scam company they dont give commusion information and immediately processing. It means without your authorization they get your money. It is thief.
Avoid at all cost
It is not surprise that the specific company gets so many negative reviews.
First of all 99% of the machines “run out of paper” this is a way to impose hidden surcharges that they try to justify for using their cash and available balance service, essentially charging you for displaying your balance.
Second, and most concerning, you rarely get the correct amount out, and that usually occurs when you choose a custom amount rather than the available options.
Avoid.
Simply BRIBERY
Contrary to the statement given by EURONET on its website, the ATM DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY INFO ON THE AMOUNT OF THE FEE BEFORE cash withdrawal. And a fee of 8% is TOTALLY RIBERY. you should let it know as widely as you can.
Withdrawal on the 21.08.2024 location Puerto de Santiago 3,95€ fee for 50€ withdrawal
Just a scam
Just a scam. I wanted 240 Euro and paid 38 Euro for their "Service". Better use other atm. Tis is a scam. The currency was 1:4,29 and they gave me 1:3,7 in addition to the 5 Euro for "service". One of the worst i know.
DO NOT USE A EURONET ATM!!
DO NOT USE A EURONET ATM!!! Theives! Stole my son's holiday money. He went to make a cash withdrawal from the ATM in our hotel in Casablanca. As the withdrawal of £150 was processing, the machine then stopped with a message on screen to say, "We are Temporily Out of Use", the cash withdrawal was not given YET our banking ap immediately showed the debit and transaction had been processed. We called the number on the side of the machine and gave the Code for the machine. Was told by the Customer Services person that all he could do was report the faulty machine but we had to take the transaction up with our bank. We have raised a dispute via our bank and have been given the message back that they have contacted Euronet and it could take up to 12 weeks for a response! I then called Euronet again who said they can see the transaction and informed me that it had not been processed and the fault is with out bank. If the transaction had not been processed, then the ATM computer would not have communicated the transaction with my son's bank account! Therefore, the fault and theft lies with Euronet. Scandalous and I shall be taking the matter to a higher financial body. DO NOT USE THEIR ATM's - AVOID !!
Withdrew 400 Euros
Withdrew 400 Euros, was charged 502 USD on my account. Lost 66 USD in "fees" and conversion rate. Total scam
Stole 500 DKK, no intention of giving it back
Tried to take out 700 DKK at Copenhagen Central Station through Euronet today. They charged my bank account for 827 DKK and gave me 200 DKK in cash. Customer service says it's not their problem and my bank says I have little chance of getting the stolen money back, leave alone the bureaucracy hassle. I file a police report and hope that at one point this company is banned from Europe.
you would have to be clinically…
you would have to be clinically incapable of rational thought to use them .you will get scammed even if you dont get caught by their exorbitant transaction fees either way its a lose lose and remember this , theres zero recourse because no one cares
