Events Ticket Center is a scam
Events Ticket Center is a scam! Do not buy from them! I bought tickets to the opera and I thought they were the official sellers. I accidentally bought the wrong date and called them right away. They refused to refund. Then they said they would email me the tickets the day before the event. They did not. I called them the day before the event and they confirmed it would be emailed to me. It was not. The morning of the event, I called again. They said they would email me the ticket by 10:30 a.m. That did not happen. I called again after 10:30 and they said they did not have the tickets. They offered me replacement tickets, but I did not trust them because they had already lied multiple times. They are scammers! I think they sold me tickets that they did not actually have!.

Dishonest Company
Under no circumstances should you buy tickets through these people. They are a deceptive site. I thought they were affiliated with the venue I purchased the tickets for. I didn’t realize they are a reseller. I’ve never paid for tickets and not immediately received what I paid for. A day after making the purchase, I needed to cancel for personal reasons so I called their customer service to see if they purchased the tickets through the actual venue and he verified they hadn’t and gave me the typical speech they give. I get it, I got duped. It less about the money and more about the principal. Maybe the tickets arrive maybe they don’t. I paid $148.80 for 2 tickets (they required a minimum of 2 to purchase). Since I don’t trust this website, to prove a point I went to the correct site for the actual venue and got 1 ticket for $40 after all fees AND they gave me the copy of my ticket immediately. Just showing what a scam this place is. Save yourself some headache and money and don’t buy anything from Event Ticket Center.

You overcharge customers for tickets that could be purchased locally for much less. Not researching local purchase options is my fault but you shouldn’t be allowed to charge 2 1/2 times the cost of the tickets. Especially with the USD to CDN conversion. I will never be using your website again to obtain tickets.

I’ve been abused by events ticketcenter.com bought tickets for a comedy show and the tickets cost $41 and some change I purchased four tickets and have been charged over $385. Please don’t use this to buy tickets. I tried to cancel my tickets the very next morning before my money was withdrawn, but they are not friendly.
