It was a wonderful experience. Our guides/translator/cook were excellent (Daniel, Carlos, Cristian and Pollo). They made our adventure 10 times better. The
were always there when we needed them and answered all our questions. They were very attentive during the walk as well. We were really lucky with the weather too. So a fantastic trip that I really recommend.

We had a fantastic lost city trip with our Tayrona group and guides Daniel, Christian, translator Carlos and cook Pollo. I was the eldest of the group, and therefore a little bit slower, but there was always a guide with me to help and assist me. I think I would not have finished safely without Daniel and Christian. We had delicious food and snacks, thanks Pollo! And Carlos speaks perfectly English, he explained a lot . The guides were respectful to the environment, the people and nature. You could notice that they love their work. All the guides and the food inspired and motivated the group and although it was hard and difficult, we laughed a lot. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE 💛

My 57-year-old mum and I (25-year old) recently completed the 4-day trek to the Lost City (Ciudad Perdida), and it was absolutely incredible! We were part of the Tyrona group, led by the amazing Daniel and Christian, with Carlos as our translator and Pollo as our talented chef😍. Every aspect of the trip was perfectly organized. The guides worked tirelessly, fostering a fantastic atmosphere and providing support every step of the way.

I highly recommend booking with Expotur! From start to finish, their communication was excellent, answering all our questions beforehand and ensuring we felt prepared.

A word of advice: the hike is quite challenging, so pack light and make sure you’re in good physical shape. It’s worth every step for the breathtaking views, fascinating history, and once-in-a-lifetime experience!

It was amazing! Eucario, Carlos and Omar planned it perfectly. They were holding the group together all the time. The food was great, even gluten free for me! Also they took good care of the ones who were struggling. Great experience!

The trek far exceeded my expectations, thanks to the excellent tour guides, extremely helpful translator and skilled cook. They displayed a high degree of professionalism, knowledge and were very fun to spend time with! I would not want to go with any one else, thank you Eucario, Omar, Carlos and AnaLuis.

Each day had a new excitement, with incredible views, waters to cross and new information from the very intelligent guide about the mountains and the indigenous community. It was a pleasure and very interesting to learn so much about the indigenous community who still live there.

The camps were lovely, very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, with hearty nutritious meals and snacks.

I had the best 4 days getting to the lost city with Expotur. The whole process was so well organised, the guides were great along the way and the camps / food way exceeded my expectations. A big shout out and thank you to the team that accompanied us (Eucario, Carlos, Omar and Ana Ledys)!

We had an amazing time with Eucario, Carlos, Omar and Ana Ledys. On top of that we had a great walking group.
Everything was well organized and the team was super helpful and fun!
I was sick from day one (nor related to the trip) and it was thanks to their help that I managed to enjoy the four days.
I would recommend Expotur to everyone that wants to do the trip.

very nice experience! 4 wonderful days accompanied by Gabriel our favorite guide and Danilo a very good translator. the landscapes are beautiful with all the nature of Colombia. We ate very well with our cook Jamir.

The Lost City Tour was fantastic...everything was very well organized. Our guide (Dennis), translator (Samuel) and cook (Ismael) were excellent.I always felt safe and very well looked after....special thanks to Dennis who always encouraged me and always waited for me because I was the slowest

The 4 day trek to the lost city was really well organized. We had a really nice guide and a translator. Because of low season the group sizes were very comfortable (4 people). Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable.
The food was really good and along the way were stops with fresh fruits.

Excellent tour with experienced and friendly staff, great organization and very enjoyable. Great food too.

This is a once in a life time , unforgettable experience. It is physically and mentally challenging but so very worth. The team of guides are fantastic. Do it if you are fit and prepared to finish the expedition.

We completed the 5 day Ciudad Perdida Trek with our family of four, including two children age 5 and 9 years old. The service from Expotur was excellent, starting with the transport from and to the hotel, but also the communication before the trek. Our group of four had three dedicated guides: Jorge, the main guide, Samuel, the translator, and Cunga, the chef. The guides made our trip a great success. Delicious hot food three times per day, showing us the most beautiful places in the jungle, sharing a wealth of information about nature and culture, but above all, carrying our youngest child for miles across difficult terrain. The trek is very challenging, but our 9 year old daughter walked the full 57km distance (5500m total climb) and our 5 year old really enjoyed the adventure thanks to the loving care of our guides. The camps were great. There is WiFi everywhere for a small fee. The camp showers are cold but that is fine if you shower immediately when arriving at a camp hot and sweaty. Every camp has a shop where you can buy cold water bottles and beer. During the hikes, you get a break every 2km where the guides serve you fresh fruit. It makes the hikes easier to endure. The guides made the whole experience feel very luxurious. Meeting Mamo at Ciudad Perdida, the giant waterfall, the cable cart river crossings and swimming in the river are just some of the highlights of our trip.

Despite the never ending rain, we had an amazing time in this hike. Our guide Adriana, translator Pilar, cook Wilfred and all round assistant Pedro made this trip an unforgettable and special one for us. Highly recommend visiting the Lost City!

The guides were great! Good food. This is a hard hike. Don't do it unless you are in very good shape.

Isidro, ariel and emiro where great. The tour was tough but great. I am in colombia for a while now and it was the highlight of my trip so far.
