Good communication throughout with post op support and advice available as and when required.

I cannot speak highly enough about Mr Goel and his team. From my initial consultation with Mr Goel and his friendly optician, Aftab, I was treated with respect and patience. The procedure was explained in detail, enabling me to make an informed decision to go ahead. On the day of my first operation I was extremely anxious but Mr Goel and nurses Jo and Jan totally reassured me with their relaxed and professional manner. Mr Goel is extremely knowledgeable and approachable with a professional but friendly manner. The procedure itself was totally painless and took about 20 minutes. Now, after years of wearing glasses or struggling with contact lenses, I have excellent vision. I recommend Mr Goel and his fantastic team without any hesitation

Revisited yesterday to have my second cataract removed and a new lense fitted.
I cannot recommend Mr Nick Hickley and his team at Spire Warrington highly enough. First day after my second treatment and the results already are amazing.
The colours are much brighter and my distant lenses work brilliantly for me. I chose the increased depth of field lenses for driving and riding my motorcycle.
Eyesight is improved and glare from incoming headlights is much better.

Each visit, I was seen at the appointment time provided - no waiting around. The staff were courteous & supportive giving clear explanations.
The experience felt efficient & professional with staff providing a good level of care. The nurses (Jan & Jo) were lovely: caring, efficient & personable.
The surgery was pain free & well explained by Mr Goel with a very good outcome. Would heartily recommend.

I required cataract surgery but required a more specialised lens than the standard one offered on the NHS. I found Mr Goel to be very understanding and knowledgeable. I felt in good hands and that he understood my reservations. I decided to go for this specialised treatment as I wanted to be able to read without using glasses a lot of the time. Following the surgury a few days ago I can honestly say I am delighted with the result. Brightness, colours and focus are incredible and so much better than I imagined possible. I was quite an apprehensive, prospective patient, seeking Laser Eye Correction. At my first appointment with Mr Goel, I was immediately struck by his reassuring, caring, and conscientious demeanour, and the relaxed, informal way in he which he imparted every detail of the proposed procedure. These factors gave me the confidence to go forward with the surgery, and I am absolutely delighted with the results. Now, thanks to Mr Goel and his dedicated team, I can see for miles and miles, and in full colour, something I have been unable to do for most of my life!

Myself & my wife had initial consultation with many varying test to determine the correct level of eye correction required. My wife required surgery on both eyes where as I only needed left eye. We were provided lots of information along with in depth discussion with Mr Geol & his colleague regarding risks, outcomes & surgery on the day.
On the day of surgery everything went very smoothly despite my unwarranted apprehensions.

Doctor Goel and his team were first rate from the initial consultation right through to the aftercare. A lot of time was spent by Doctor Goel finding out what was important for me with regards to my vision, for example i do a lot of night driving, and then a tailored solution was provided. Highly recommended and I am very pleased with my outcome.

I had surgery performed on my right eye to remove a 40 year old cataract which grew over time due to a trauma incident. The cataract was exstreamly dense and it was uncertain as to what degree of improvement coud be achieved due to the original injury. Risks were fully explained to me and I put my faith in Mr Hickley.
5 weeks later I am delighted to report that I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my eyesight and peripheral vision. Fabulous job done by Mr. Hickley and his team, really pleased with the outcome and experience. Thank You.

I went to see Mr Quah on a recommendation, after being referred for cataract surgery. He is knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring, and answered my many questions to make my own decision on the type of surgery I wanted. The whole team are amazing - Mandy his secretary, Elaine his optician and the lovely nurse who held my hand through both ops :) Although apprehensive, I felt in very safe hands throughout. I was amazed that I could see so well the morning after my surgery, and now have better than 20:20 vision. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Quah for cataract and refractive lens surgery.

I had a slight anxiety about cataract surgery before meeting Mr Goel and his excellent assistant. I was soon reassured by his professionalism, his kindness and his patient explanation of the options most suitable for me. I never felt rushed and throughout the whole procedure Mr. Goel and all his team explained clearly what they were doing. I am more than satisfied with the results and sincerely thank the whole team for their kindness and professionalism.

Excellent treatment, very happy with result so far. Only negative comment is that appointment was running very late so were waiting a long time.

After years of struggling with myopia I decided to book in for a consultation to discuss laser eye surgery. Mr Goel put me at ease straight away, he had plenty of time for me making sure to ask if I had any further questions and answered them with extensive knowledge. I was not rushed into making any decisions, he explained the differences between SMILE, LASIK and LASEK and spoke honestly about the pro’s and con’s of each and which he’d recommend was best for me. At the initial consultation I decided to go for SMILE and had a further appointment to discuss the details before the surgery.

Every small detail was taken care off, I was even given a list of instructions and a little map of where to go on the day of surgery which helped massively on the day. The follow-up care has also been excellent, with check-up appointments a day after surgery, the following week, then a month after that and I’ve got another follow up three to four months after that.

Mr Goel’s colleague was also really lovely, he could tell I was a little nervous on the first appointment and he put me at ease when carrying out my eye examinations. He talked me through everything he was doing, why he was doing it and was even making general chit-chat to help put me at ease.

Mr Goel’s secretary, Sue Collins always kept me up to date with the information I needed and always replied quickly when I had contacted her.

I am extremely happy and grateful with the care and services I’ve been provided with by Mr Goel. On my latest follow up appointment I found out that I now have better than 20/20 vision (6/4), and I highly recommend Mr Goel and his team.

I have visited Mr Hickley at spire Cheshire on a number of occasions recently and underwent cataract surgery to both eyes
I have to say my eyes were in a very poor state and Mr Hickley has preformed a miracle so to speak as I now have my sight back which has changed my life
His professionalism caring way is wonderful and I really felt at ease with every step of the procedure
