Just bought a pair of designer reading glasses from Toni and Guy. Phil the optician was so efficient, professional and relaxed whilst Sara the manager was really helpful in helping me choose the glasses to suit my face shape, hair and complexion. Nothing was too much trouble, even though I really took my time and couldn't make my mind up at first and returned later in the day to make my final choice. (After I had researched prices online!).
The price was really competitive, I could not find the same pair anywhere else cheaper.
Forget the big chain opticians. If you want a massive choice, personal service and a really good deal, see Phil and Sara.

Worst experience ever! I was very excited to receive the frames... When they came, my excitement turned to immediate disappointment! I saw these frames at New York and really wanted them but the price was $400 so I purchased from Toni&Guy for a fraction of the price. Now I know why, they are a fraction of the quality! Caution: DO NOT waste your money.

After previously receiving a message saying the frames I had ordered were out of stock when there had been no indication of this on the website, I emailed to complain. A wonderful customer service representative named Sara got in touch and offered a 10% discount for my order as the frames were not expected to come back in stock for 4-6 weeks. However, just 10 days after ordering, I have now received my new glasses and they are just wonderful. Many thanks to Sara, who worked tirelessly to chase up my order with the manufacturer. I am a very happy customer and would definitely order from Toni & Guy again.

I was looking for some designer glasses online looking on toni & guy website i found some Tiffany glasses. I ordered online and attached my prescription. I contacted customer services on line to get some advice about my prescription on what lens would be best as i need them for reading and using the computer so was u sure whether to get near or intermidiate.
They looked at my prescription and gave me great advice. Very helpful and very quick delivery. My glasses are beautiful and price was fantastic to.

I am a store customer and have always been since T&G set up. I have quite a complicated prescription and that's why i visit the store and get my eyes tested there. I'm now on my 4th pair of glasses: Ray Ban, Armani, RL and now Ted Baker frames. I've been nothing less than totally satisfied - there is a great range of frames and as I visit the store I get an honest opinion about what suits me - including "no, not those".

I base this review solely on my one experience of using the company and having seen reviews below I expect them to have many happy customers. However, after ordering my glasses which had very standard lenses (-1.5 / -1.75 - no other prescription bits) I waited around 10 working days to receive them, which although stated could occur, based on other companies dispatch times seemed rather slow for very simple glasses which were in stock.

The glasses arrived and the right lenses was totally incorrect. It was so blurry I couldn't see a thing out of it. The frames were also slightly bent. I contacted the team for a return and subsequently sent them back with a fast and prompt response. No problems there, sometimes this happens.

Around 6 days later, having spent £5 recorded delivery to send the glasses back, I received a refund of £10 less than what I paid for the glasses despite it not being my fault the glasses were faulty. Therefore I'm left £15 out of pocket as well as the fact I had to shell out a lot of money on a site that provided next day delivery for another pair of glasses which were needed.

The enquiries team haven't even responded to my email asking of why I was refunded £10 less. The websites states if you send glasses back this is for removing the lenses coating, however, based that I sent my glasses back due to a fault and not a preference of style I feel this is very poor to blame the consumer for an error the company made.

I ordered jimmy choo prescription glasses at £115, when on high street were at £345. I had to wait few weeks as the glasses wete not in stock. Worth waiting as the quality is superb and I m very happy with the purchase.

After huge problems with another online retailer I tried T&G on my sons recommendation. Excellent service and really pleased with my Oakley prescription glasses.

This company and service is excellent. Professional, helpful and friendly. Without question the best internet company I've ever dealt with. I hold them in the highest regard and recommend them to all my spectacle wearing friends and colleagues always.
If only every company was like this.......

This is my third set of lenses from Toni & Guy opticians. All 3 sets have lasted under 8 months before the AR coating cracked causing distorted optics - not too bad through the day but TV, cinema, streetlights, stars are effected bad.

Won't be buying any more lenses from T&G unfortunately. Going back to my high street retailer which I never had a problem with AR coatings during the previous 12+ years.

I ordered a stark frame with thin transitions and had them within 2 weeks much cheaper than on the high street.

Quality was superb and I would certainly use them again. I have also recommended them to my family and friends.

I was initially reluctant to order glasses online, mostly due to the fact that I have a high prescription so it's important that whoever is making my glasses gets it right. But Toni&Guy's customer service, low prices and VAT refund (due to my being a Brit living outside the EU) made it an attractive option. Ordinarily my chosen glasses and lenses combination would cost around £350, but with T&G I saved well over £100.

I'm pleased to say my order of Oliver Peoples prescription glasses arrived in a timely fashion and the product itself is excellent. The lenses came with an extra Essilor coating and the vision is crystal clear. I would highly recommend T&G opticians and would certainly use them again!

Purchased on-line sunglasses, prescription glasses and more recently, contact lenses. Would recommend this site and shop without hesitation. Very helpful and patient staff, nothing too much trouble.

Thanks very much for finding the alternate colour, that meant I did not have to wait for other color to be shipped over from Italy. The new color frames are perfect and have arrived in less than 24 hrs from ordering them. I took to my local opticians to get lenses swapped from broken frames to new ones - back up and running in less than a day.

I was quoted over £300 at a well-known opticians for my Bvulgari glasses ,they claim to price match ,but when I quoted £165 from Tony and Guy online ,they would not match it.so never having ordered prescription glasses online before ,I took the plunge and I'm so happy that I did.everything was so easy and delivery was quick,I would recommend anyone to order this way ,many thanks from a happy customer
