I needed stock for my business and fast, I'm going through a divorce and my finances are in a bit of a mess so as you can imagine if you've no funds for stock, your not going to last long. I had a fair credit rating but worried as any previous dealings with the bank I found were long winded, fussy & difficult and I couldn't wait that long as I wanted to be ready for the season ahead.
Being online with Xmas approaching Id be silly to miss the opportunity. Looked online and came across ezbob read the reviews and it got me wondering.
I called them and asked a few questions and it seemed seamless but didn't expect things to be so easy. I applied online ' filled out the online questions got to banking and panicked as my first years accounts hadn't been completed & I used my personal account for business. I was then contacted to ask if I needed help completing and I explained the above. It wasnot a problem, Andrea an accounts manager advised me what to do, I went away and uploaded my bits and bobs whilst emailing back and too to Andrea. She was amazing, patients of a saint and lightening fast when it came to responding. No waiting for hours, days or weeks like the bank. Straight forward guidance and speedy support was given through out. Before I knew it I had my funds ready to withdraw. The only issue I had was actually with the bank ha! But Andrea logged in fixed the issue for me and the funds were in my account. From start to finish it took just a few hours this bearing in mind my bugging poor Andrea with question upon question. It's hard deciding when it comes to loans and finance options and the Internet is filled with companys offering a top class service. But I hope by reading my review it will save hours of research for anybody else like me looking for a loan.
My advice don't bother stop by ezbob you will be surprised, easy fast friendly & professional the banks could learn a lot.
My only quiery was that there was a few fees I wasn't aware off but could have missed maybe in the terms. They charge on mine anyway an arrangement fee of 7% of your loan amount which is divided over the course of your loan term and added to the monthly bill. In my case £14 so not a huge cost which didn't affect me but I felt it should maybe had been pointed out on the loan calculator. They will take a £5 charge when authorising your card for the re-payment and that's it. Apart from that a marvellous service
Andrea is great at her job, and I would say a clear asset to the company as she reflects the fine service which ezbob offer.

As a sole trader I always find it difficult to get finance from the bank due the erratic nature of my income. Ezbob gave me an alternative. Yes, their APR is much higher- although the payments and fees are transparent. My only niggle was a £350 set up fee (7% of my loan)which I wasn't made aware until the final draw down of the funds.
That aside ( I could have withdrawn once aware, without penalty) the overall experience is very good. Just expect to pay more than at your bank
