Been with them since my local psychiatrist left the area. Dr Ambrosio Romero for many months and he is the greatest and most caring psychiatrist.

Very professional and expedient. Both staff and doctors are excellent to communicate with. Normally I would have to drive 40 miles for prescription refill. Not with EZCare. Make an appointment and next day or two would have a video conference

Excellent and highly recommended! The doctor was very kind and understanding. They actually listened to me and were able to treat me for my anxiety. I was able to get my medication that day. The online platform was very helpful for someone with high anxiety.

This clinic has once again, amazed me with their compassion and over the top professionalism. My medication regimen wasnt effective, and i just thought i would have to suffer until my next follow-up appointment. To my surprise, Dr Jimmy Richmann adjusted the dose free of charge. This was another 6/5 star experience!!!

Tl;dr: I had my 1st ever app't w/ a psychiatrist & felt scammed.
We met via telehealth. I called ahead to confirm this was ok since I had been referred for med. management & was unaware you could practice med. management over telehealth. They confirmed it was ok.
I scheduled my app't for days after I was due for a med refill. It was an "as needed" med; they requested to reschedule - they had to wait 28 days after I pick up to my meds per DEA laws. I said no problem & used the herbs and meditation techniques f/ members of my care team to get through the gap in meds.
We met online. When he connected, he didn't have his vid on. I asked if he checked his vid settings. He said it gave him trouble all day, but he called several times. I wondered why he called - we were already connected online, he could see & hear me & I could hear him. I told him I practice professionalism at work & don't check my personal phone but every couple hours for urgencies. He said I had an app't with him. I told him exactly, so now would not be the time to sit on my personal phone at work when we were connected to our app't. It was weird.
I provided my medical documents & the referral from my family Dr. I gave the info my family Dr. advised me about regarding meds I had tried & meds we found to be successful in treating 6 of my diagnoses. I showed him my physical prescription bottles - my family Dr. had recently changed dosage of one of them & I straightened that out w/ my family Dr.
After providing the info my family Dr. gave me, he told me we were not a fit; I was taking 2 controlled meds which he thought would be better managed in person. I told him that's what I thought originally & why I called ahead to double check. I also told him I felt stressed & anxious about the inconsistency of med. care lately - par for the course w/ a stress & an anxiety disorder. He apologized & offered to follow up with me within a couple of days regarding reimbursement for our $195 10min. appointment.
I hadn't received follow-up, so called the clinic days later to check reimbursement status. They said he sent discharge paperwork. I said that was consistent w/ what he & I talked about. I hadn't received it yet & requested they send it to me. They said they already had & they would again; still haven't received. I also informed them my clinic regularly discharges patients; if they have circumstances change & need to resume services, we can readmit them. I told them I coordinated with my family Dr. to stop taking 1 of the 2 meds I talked about with the psychiatrist since it was only minimally effective, so it would just be 1 med remaining on the referral. That was when the rep. informed me that he discharged me because I was "exhibiting high drug seeking behavior", so they would not readmit me.
I was completely shocked; I don't feel it requires an MD to understand that 30 years of trauma, abuse, and neglect could cause related diagnoses. The info he asked for was consistent with the info my family Dr. gave me. So, I Googled what "drug seeking behavior" was. It said things like: needing to make app'ts urgently/at days end, calling regularly, requesting specific meds & not being open to alternatives, dressing in an odd manner, "Dr. shipping", coming from out of town, etc.
NONE of this occurred at all in any way it could be construed. I have the same Dr. & care team for 7+ years. I dressed in a plain tank top & pair of cotton shorts, it was over 100°. I went with the flow when the clinic needed to change the app't. I showed openness to other meds/ non medicinal care with my regular therapy, PT, ND, & GP having had me try 30+ combined treatments. I called about the reimbursement during normal biz hrs. The app't occurred in the town I live.
They still ghosted me about the reimbursement & treated me like a criminal in the process.
UPDATE TO REPLY: Thanks for the kind sentiments. I've been in touch with my regular, trusted care team. The reply mentions the "two" controlled substances; my review states it has been reduced to ONE due to minimal effectiveness of the other. I had also informed EzCare about that when I called inquiring about reimbursement & was told I was "exhibiting high drug seeking behavior", which was not addressed in the reply. What a damaging, unprofessional label to place on someone having the courage to reach out for help, especially when it is baseless, for it to just be under rug swept in the reply. It seems like EzCare does not pay attention to their patients. Yes, please do contact me at your earliest convenience.
ADDITIONAL UPDATE: EzCare reached back out & was compassionate, understanding, validating, & apologized. Refund processed. Assuming follow through, they stated details for which they intend on taking necessary action to ensure future clients feel care & compassion regardless of fit. Updated rating from 1 to 3 stars. Thank you!

Dr. Jimmy Reichman is amazing ! I was set up with him because my usual MD was not available 2 months ago and when we met for the appointment. He listened to me and immediately suggested a medication therapy that worked perfectly for me within the first week! He is not a skeptic or trying to tell me that I should lower or wean of my medications because he understands with my past medical history, I need it. I’m on low doses and I’m fine and when I don’t need a full dose me being a RN I use one med PRN. I can not thank Dr. Reichman enough ! He saved my life, I’m back to work, out at events and it’s consistent! No more ups or downs

I got to speak freely with a doctor from my home. We discussed options and chose one that was right for me. I have been struggling terribly with social anxiety after being in a bad accident that left me unable to walk the same . I have been reluctant to leave the house because of fear. This service is great option.

Withdrawing my previous review as my issues were resolved. I’m back to give my experience through the follow up. Another pleasant visit with Dr. David Kenton. He is the main reason I’m still using this company for psychiatry. I have to say the customer service department always makes you feel at ease and Anna Taylor was in consistent communication with me yesterday as I was awaiting my medication. There is a slight lack of urgency for medication management but overall I’m satisfied with the outcome of my 2nd visit and will be returning again as long as I can keep the same doctor. Thank you Ezcare for allowing me to receive medication and visits at my convenience and Dr. Kenton is the best doctor I have met in 28 years.

Very positive experience. The doctor was extremely helpful. I had issues finding my medication due to nationwide shortages and they worked with me, gave lists, called pharmacies, and helped until we were able to find and fill it. Above and beyond any what I’ve experienced with previous doctors and insurance companies in the past.

Failed to honor an appointment time they listed on their website as available and tried to reschedule it during the middle of a normal workday. Was told to wait upwards of two weeks for a refund.
This is a scam do not give your money. These people list times they know they don’t have available charge you and then don’t honor the appointment.

Can’t get my prescription and it’s a nightmare to get things sorted through their customer service line. I have called 5 times and have been without my medication for 4 days now.
UPDATE 7/25: I just checked my statement and I was not refunded. However I am changing my review to 2 stars because although I did finally get my prescription, it took a lot of hoops to and unnecessary extra time to get it
UPDATE 7/26: I’m changing my review back to 1 star because now they are trying to cover up their lie about refunding me and when I brought it up in an email they called it a typo. This company does business in bad faith and I wouldn’t recommend dealing with them
