I needed a vehicle last minute as I was let down by another rental company, so wasn’t in a great mood.

I walked into Falcon Taunton and was greeted immediately by Josh, who is a great credit to the Falcon team, his cheerful manner and by going above and beyond for me, turned my day around completely.

He had a vehicle available that had just returned from a previous hire, and after sorting all the paperwork out asked me to take a seat for 5 minutes, whilst he cleaned and prepped the van.

It was reassuring to see him doing vital checks such as tyres, oil etc as I had a very long drive ahead of me. The van was spotless, faultless and a pleasure to drive.

Thank you Josh and I will be returning again very soon.

I had to hire a mini bus at very short notice (just before bank holiday weekend - half term). I didn't hold out much hope, but Falcon Bridgwater came through for us. The team were incredibly helpful and friendly and even managed to get things sorted out for me to pick it up earlier than I'd originally asked for. Brilliant, I've never hired a vehicle from falcon before, but would definitely make them my first choice in future.

Reliable comfortable minibus, absolutely first class service.
Will certainly be back.

Absolute disgrace of a company !
My 83 year old uncle was too old to book a hire van with your company
He booked the van on my behalf so I could drive it for him.
We only wanted the van for the Sunday as we were delivering a model train set to Yorkshire.
He was quoted £112.00 and £500.00 holding deposit
We had to collect before they closed at 12:00 noon on Saturday as they don’t open on Sundays .
When we arrived at around 11:00am on Saturday we were kept waiting
Only to be told the rental was going to be £224.00 as we were returning the van on Sunday evening !
Also the deposit was now £550 not £500 as I had 2 convictions !
Also when I’ve ever hired from other companies the vehicle is supplied full of fuel and you return it full simple!
No not these con merchants it’s hired out to you with supposedly quarter of a tank and we returned it with
Pretty much a quarter of a tank but you we’re quibbling over the fuel!
You’d be rubbing your hands together if it came back with half or three quarters of a tank as I’m sure you don’t pay it back !
The system of leaving a nearly new van in a open deserted trading estate over night at risk of being vandalised or stolen and still being liable is a joke! We took plenty of photos to prove it was intact when we left it, including the fuel gauge !
You have left my elderly uncle extremely distraught and distressed !
He has had to tell his wife (my Auntie) that he had to use an extra £112 of their pension that they can ill afford
Due to you providing misleading quotation information.
I will be contacting trading standards regarding the way you conducted this transaction and not honoured the quote that was given at the time.
You should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of and elderly gentleman.

I’ve used Falcon twice in recent weeks to have use of a people carrier. The vehicle was excellently maintained both times, and ran quietly and very smoothly. On each occasion the staff were very friendly and polite and helped me through the paperwork without trouble. I will happily use them again and would recommend them above the national carriers any day.

Great communication and easy rental service.

I began to use Falcon during lock down. I had sold my car and needed transport occasionally, so hiring made sense. I was surprised how relatively cheap the smaller cars were to hire. They were always clean and being newer a pleasure to drive.

I’ve read reviews saying that the staff weren’t courteous and there were long waiting times.It takes a while to go through the paperwork and yes I’ve occasionally experienced that but it was at a chaotic time during lock down in the summer weekends.

I’d recommend falcon whole heartedly it’s a no brainer !!

Hire car booked on the 22nd March for collection at 10.30 am on 24th March.

Arrived at 10.25am on the 24th March to find two lots of people had to be served before me, this is understandable but as there was only one man running the desk I did not get served until 11am.

The guy at the desk did not greet me or apologise for the wait or, now I think about it, even smile.

When I told him I was there to pick up the car I had booked he looked at his computer and asked me "How desperate are you for it?"
I replied that I had just been dropped off at the Taunton Depot and had no other transport as I was expecting to pick up a car.

He said "I haven't got one, I see you booked it on the 22nd but we were not told about it until this morning!
There is one in Bridgwater".

I pointed out that I was not in Bridgwater so he told me they would transport me to Bridgwater so I could get the car.

I thanked him and was then escorted to a van.

Then, for reasons unknown, the driver of the van took me to the Bridgwater depot, via Wellington!
For those that don't know the area, instead of driving through Taunton which, admittedly can sometimes be a bit full of traffic, he chose to drive 7 miles further away before getting on the motorway and driving 7 miles back to get more or less level with our starting point making the journey take a good 10 minutes longer that it needed to.

All in all a fairly terrible experience which I will be sure to never repeat.

Get more staff, get your booking system working correctly and give your drivers a map so they know the fastest routes.
