Just how vehicle hire should be!
Booked a van through these guys for our house move from London to Somerset. Josh dealt with the hire and everything was just how it should be from start to finish. Professional, efficient and friendly all at a very competitive cost. Would definitely use these guys again

Easy to book and collect
Easy to book and collect, I paid on Friday morning and the money went from my account on Monday. The van was returned on Friday evening. I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned. Funny how the payment is processed so quickly but not the refund. Over the year it must be a good earner in interest

I would like to reassure you that the deposit is not held by ourselves any longer than is necessary. In most cases the deposit is refunded the same, or by the next working day, depending on the vehicles return date. The only reason for a deposit being held by ourselves would be if any damage was sustained whilst on hire. The time it takes for the funds to reach your account is then dictated by whoever you bank with. Many thanks.

Having recently found ourselves at the mercy of a closure on the M5, we found ourselves gridlocked on the Bridgwater road, Somerset. We had been on the road at that point for 5 hours (and should've already been home in Northants) One of your employees, was walking up the road with a trolley of cool water, offering it free to all of us road users in desperate need. I just wanted to tell you how much that was appreciated, we had our 4 month old puppy with us and the heat was sweltering. Myself and my fiancée are beyond grateful of this man's time and kindness. I didn't catch his name but if you know who it was, he needs to be given a massive thank you! He could've actually saved some lives with that act of generosity, what a hero!
If this is the level of integrity you have throughout your staff, your customer service will be your shining star, well done.

Good experience generally
The vehicle was excellent. Staff courteous and prompt on collection.
There was confusion on the phone booking resulting on the collection being delayed and making the hire day very tight, time wise and stressful. Would I recommend them, Yes, but now I have more knowledge!!

Van for TFS.This was the first year that I needed…
This was the first year that I needed to hire a van for Taunton Flower Show. I initially called in and saw Josh who was very helpful and showed me the 3 types of van that might be suitable. This helped me to select a MWB with high top to give me the required height for plants etc. I dealt with Ian subsequently who dealt with the paperwork. Van was ready when I wanted it and I was able to return the van on the Saturday evening to their CCT controlled area. Van was easy to drive and all went as planned. Thanks to Josh and Ian.

Good service to start off with but almost a week now still waiting on a refund for my £500 deposit! When called in a hasty voice . It can take between 3 to 5 working days to show in your account but for other customers it was said 2 to 3 days. Its 5 working days today but still nothing in my account

I can confirm that your deposit refund was processed on the 7th of August, the next working day from the date your vehicle was returned. Following the refund taking place, the time taken for the money to reach your account is dependent on your bank. Whilst this process usually takes between 2-5 working days, it can sometimes take longer.

I hired a SWB Mercedes van for 24 hours…
I hired a SWB Mercedes van for 24 hours from the Taunton branch at a cost of £96. The van was a 72 plate with only 9,500 miles on the clock. It was very clean and drove beautifully. There were no hidden extras. I was dealt with at both ends by Josh who was both polite and efficient. all round a good experience and the a company I will use again.
