Debt is stressful. We understand. Family Credit Management is a nonprofit organization that has been helping individuals and families get out of debt and regain financial stability for over 30 years. Our NFCC-certified credit counselors provide personalized, one-on-one guidance to help clients understand their financial situation and take control of their future. We offer a range of solutions tailored to each individual’s needs, including traditional Debt Management Plans (DMPs), debt settlement options for those who may benefit, and our exclusive DualTrack Repayment Plan, which combines structured repayment with strategic settlement when appropriate. For clients who are unable to repay all debts at once, we also offer our Priority Pay Plan, designed to help manage limited resources while addressing the most urgent financial obligations. Our approach focuses not only on resolving debt, but also on long-term financial health through budgeting, education, and behavior-based strategies. As a nonprofit credit counseling agency, our mission is to provide honest, practical solutions that work in the real world. We work directly with creditors to help reduce interest rates and fees when possible, while supporting our clients every step of the way. At Family Credit Management, our goal is simple: help people reduce stress, regain control, and build a more stable financial future.

You would be surprised that not many people know about these types of nonprofit services (that includes me). Instead, many turn to debt consolidation programs with high interest rates or expensive loans from for profit companies. I was pleasantly surprised by this organization and received excellent service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for financial assistance and guidance. Special Thanks to Jennie B.

Family Credit Management is by far a blessing. They are so super easy to work with, completely transparent, always available for my loads of questions and advice. Their process of working with your creditors is remarkable, and they very quickly get to work negotiating and making your plan. As someone who royally damaged their finances, FCM has helped get me on a better path.

Have had a great experience. Everyone has been kind and understanding of my situation. I am glad to be able to communicate through email instead of having to find time for a phone call to customer service. The whole process has helped me regain control of my finances and my creditors have all worked with FCM, including payday loan companies.

Choosing Family Credit Management (FCM) was one of the best financial decisions I have ever made, and I can confidently say that working with them has completely changed my path toward debt relief. After being on their Debt Management Program (DMP) for over two years, the results have been nothing short of exceptional.
From the very start, the team at Family Credit Management provided incredible support. Certified Credit Counselor Erica Reyes-Smith helped me establish a possible course of action, assuring me that the Debt Management Plan was a great fit for my financial future. She provided invaluable resources, including budgeting tips and the "100 Ways to Save Big" brochure, setting me up for success from day one. Erica was responsive and helpful, even when addressing my specific questions about removing accounts that already had preferential agreements, which she quickly confirmed was fine to do.
The financial relief provided by FCM is substantial and immediate. The program is designed to save hundreds in interest and allow me to get out of debt in under five years. I was promised "exceptional" anticipated interest rates, and the program delivered, with the lower rates and elimination of late fees shaving significant time off my repayment period. As the Client Services team noted, I survived the challenging first few months and was quickly seeing the benefits begin.
FCM made debt consolidation an affordable and safe path to finally becoming debt-free once and for all. They have provided a clear, manageable plan and continuous support, making the goal of permanent financial success feel truly achievable. I enthusiastically recommend Family Credit Management to anyone looking for a reliable and effective solution to take control of their financial health.
