Excellent service

Excellent service

Had our viewing with Tammy, who was really informative and explained how to fill in our application form. She was on hand even after office hours to help us with this. Communication with Zoe has been very efficient, and the whole process has been very fast from viewing to receiving the approval from the landlord, literally 1 week. We are now in the process of signing our agreement and can't wait to pick up the keys in a couple of weeks.

Very good letting agents!

Zoe was extremely helpful from start to finish. The viewing was very informative and Zoe answered all questions we had. The communication has been very efficient and informative and we’ve been kept up to date since the process began

Extremely helpful staff at Farefield!

Mary at Farefield showed me the property and was very accommodating with lots of questions asked etc. She was also very good with communication after the viewing when we wanted to put an application in and was more than happy for me to text her past her working hours to help us secure the property (this was massively appreciated!)
The references went through quicker than expected and the team kept us updated throughout the process.

Zoe has been a pleasure to deal with and has answered any emails and returned all calls extremely promptly! All in all a great experience with Farefield so far!

Don't care about anything/anyone but their bottom line

Based on my experience with them as next door neighbour to one of their rented properties I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. We have fences on the ground for a couple of months that they won't get sorted despite several calls and them telling me they would get it booked in asap and get back to me with updates which they never did. There was also horrible howling from their pipes which could go on all day and the excuse they gave was the tenant wasn't replying to them and there was nothing they could do. However, when pressed, they did agree legally they could send a letter but basically they had more important things to do. This went on for weeks despite promising to get back to me. Again they never did, even after it appeared to have been sorted. They are now ignoring my messages.

Edit, since placing this review and informing them I had I received a message telling me "I don't work for you" and one a few seconds later saying "go away". I've had various estate agents be useless at getting things done but I have never had someone representing such a business be so rude. Baffling that anyone can do business that way.

What a fantastic company

What a fantastic company, after being let down by several of the big agents in Worcester who simply never return emails! The team at Farefield have been brilliant, from arranging the viewing, to filling in all the paperwork,Tammy and Zoe have been simply outstanding in all that they have done for us! I highly recommend them and we can’t wait to get the keys next week!

Tammy - an asset to the group!

I would have no hesitation recommending Farefield group, in particular Tammy, I found her to be a true professional with an empathic and friendly personality, an asset to the company.
Based on my experience I will be arranging Farefield to manage my property portfolio when the time comes.

Expatriate from France

As an expatriate from France without any knowledge about the renting process in the UK, Zoe has been available, really easy to reach and provided guidelines, visibility on next steps.

Excellent Service, Definitely recommend

I would definitely recommend Farefield Estates. The service I have received has been excellent. Lottie who I viewed the property with was very friendly and helpful and Zoe who has carried out all the work for my tenancy has been excellent, Very professional and efficient. I'm very much looking forward to moving into my new home at the end of the month.

Excellent service and quality from…

Excellent service and quality from Farefields from the start. The level of service and friendliness that I had received from letting agent Zoe Taylor was perfect. I couldn't fault her level of professionalism and courtesy towards me. I would definitely recommend Fairfields to my family and friends.

Excellent experience.

Very impressed. Zoe Taylor in Worcester managed my rental application, carrying out the process in an efficient, competent and speedy manner. She was thorough and professional whilst accommodating to my needs. Within one day, the application was approved and a date agreed. Credit and appreciation to Zoe Taylor who truly made the difference. Thank you.

Nice office staff

Update: Heating fixed today after 15 days, disappointing but not surprising to see Farefield quote an email praising an independent engineer they sent for taking extra action himself without any instruction from Farefield to try to resolve (unfortunately on staying on for 2 hours). The reason this review is on your site is because you are responsible for the contract that is drawn up. there are plenty of charges and expectations for tenents, a simple clause for a weeks turnaround with a couple of quotes would stop this. As for good deeds, I have asked Jay the engineer for a quote on the property I own and have recommended him to others already.
Not a coincidence that the house is going on the market today and the heating has been fixed?

Nice office staff, let down by poor to non-existent management over their landlords. Have had many problems in the first 6 months of the tenancy, all resolved but not in good time. Two weeks with no water in the kitchen sink and three visits to sort, light fittings falling as secured with double sided tape, oil leak from service of boiler. gas leak found during service and more.
Now no heating for 11 day starting Christmas day, both Farefields and the landlords engineer have visited and although it can be fixed and has been quoted for, it was too high for the landlord so we have to wait a further 5 days for the landlords engineer to fix as he's cheaper but on holiday out of the country! This engineer has a company and several staff who could do the work. This is the same company who serviced the boiler and put a screw through a pipe causing an oil leak, only coming back to clean up when it was known environmental health are now involved. Landlords engineer, who they use for all their business' as the landlord told me, even suggested we claim under our home insurance for the oil his company lost due to negligence. For the next 5 days there is no heating outside of a fireplace because the landlord wants to save some money on work that could have been completed already. Just avoid and check the policy of the company who you do use to avoid management companies like this who allow landlords freedom to do this.
The manager Rob, that rang me said it is a business and they can run it how they want and they can't force a landlord to provide heating in a reasonable timescale. Something to consider when you're looking to rent a property. Emails, and images to back up all issues in review.

Rob confirmed that a Landlord can use their preferred contractors for may reasons and we are not responsible or have any control over their decision. We acted extremely quickly to help you as reflected in your glowing email to our company, thanking our engineer for getting your heating back up and running ("My utmost thanks to Jay, cannot praise him enough as he said it wasn’t fair and sometimes people come first".) . We must follow a Landlord's instructions and perhaps your 1 star review complaining about the Landlord and their own engineer, should not be posted on our website but on theirs! No good deed goes unpunished!

Farefields Estates provided a really prompt service, from the date of my initial interest in their property, Farefields then carried out rigorous, but fair checks on myself inorder to satisfy the owner that they were securing the rights tenants.
I was really impressed with this, and their service.
