Fastmail is a great and reliable service focused on privacy, which I really appreciate. The only downsides for me are the lack of built-in email translation and the apps. Both the mobile and Windows a... See more

Fastmail are brilliant. I have used them for so long now I can’t remember what I used to use - probably yahoo mail! The web interface is clean and easy to use compared to gmail/outlook, which I have to use for work. They have the best phone app too.
Fastmail has been rock solid as a personal e-mail server for me for the last 11 years. Nothing fancy about my use of it, but I found out why a paid server is worthwhile over the past year, and closed all my other "free" e-mail accounts, especially after they tried to force feed their spam by refusing to work with Thunderbird as an interface. It's nice to have a non-partisan outfit that you pay to do a job, and they just go out there and do the job day after day. I read the negative reviews before I wrote this, and all I can say is Fastmail is obviously good a weeding out the chaff.
I've never regretted for a moment making the switch away from a gmail account. This is a great product suite backed by excellent customer service. I was so pleased to find an alternative that actually did what I needed it to; Fastmail goes above and beyond my expectations. The alias feature is so valuable.
I love fastmail. I've used them for decades. They are very reliable and responsive. I trust an email provider with my most personal information and fastmail secures that for me instead of exploiting all that information.
I've been using Fastmail for so long I don't remember how long, at least 5 if not 10 years. The platform is reliable, spam filters effect, and on the rare occasion I need support it's reasonably prompt and quite helpful.
I have been using this for several years now. I can honestly say if you must pay for an email, this is the best! Keep it up.
Been using for a decade. They make careful, well-thought out updates. It may sometimes feel like the tools are a bit behind the big g companies, but then they catch up and it works better. I feel good knowing my email isn't being mined for advertising data. Everything has gone smoothly for the past 10 years.
I am a Gmail refugee, who left Google because I did not want them snooping through my email for the purpose of targeted advertising. Although I joined Fastmail primarily for privacy reasons, I have fallen in love with the service. The webmail interface is excellent, and I am surprised that this small company has UX that I prefer to Gmail and Outlook.com. In addition, their mobile app is excellent. For the price, I consider it a no-brainer. For people looking to break free from Google's watchful eye, and who do not want to pay for the expensive and restrictive ProtonMail, Fastmail is the best service out there!
Fastmail has been my email provider since 2005, and I can't imagine changing. The interface is clear, there are no ads, the spam filter is amazing, the use of aliases really helps me to keep myself secure, and gives me flexibility. I really recommend it.
We have been using fastmail for our company for a long time now. The entire company's email history was imported so now there is close to 300G of emails. Fastmail has proven invaluable because
1. Very good search of large quantities of emails
2. Shared folders allow excellent collaboration
3. Fast
4. Flawless interfacing with thunderbird, outlook, mobile devices
5. Very cool email alias feature
6. Most economical hosting of large quantities of emails
7. SPAM filtering is very good
Been using fastmail with my own domain name for a few years now and am perfectly happy with the service. It's reliable, fast, respects my privacy, adds useful features from time to time.
Moved from a self-managed email server to Fastmail 20 years ago. Zero regrets. Best email service. Very happy to pay a reasonable price for a rock solid service with no surprise, and a respect for my privacy.
Strong authentication with a hardware key option.
I only use for emails, not used their calendar or contact services. For these I still find the Apple apps easier and more intuitive.
Privacy focused, great web interface and easy to set up on phones and tablets. Worth a subscription to not have Big Tech reading my personal mail. Great calendar and contacts functionality too. Will never go back to a "free" email provider.
I have been using Fastmail for many years and joined when it was free. I chose it rather than Hotmail etc. because I thought it was little known so would get less spam. I like the way it shows file size of emails, unlike other providers. However, now, its advantages are not worth the subscription, when I can use my BT broadband's email for free. Also it is now putting a lot of phishing into its junk folder, but I discovered a genuine video in the junk folder which I have now rescued. I will not be renewing my subscription.
All necessary features are there. I love the focus on privacy. Best feature: (almost) unlimited aliases.
I've been using FastMail for at least 5 years now, it's my primary personal email service and it has never let me down. It allows to create many aliases which is a huge advantage for me.
I’ve used FastMail for years, and they’ve always been perfect. It does one thing extremely well, for a fair price, and with no intrusive tracking.
Happy private and company users for years.
Sometimes, you really get what you paid for, I am honestly and genuinely happy with FastMail, their web app (its simplicity and speed), search speed too, their stability and reliability, the multitude of settings, aliases and multiple emails...
There's nothing bad I could come up with.
As far as I remember, it's also an independent private company (not owned by companies, which is a plus, not a fan of giant companies creeping in and starting to control everything).
Really, keep it up as until now. Only good words.
Have accounts for personal and business for many years, and couldn’t be more happy with the excellent quality of service and features. Especially the aliasses are great and powerful for online safety - Just like unique passwords everywhere I also often have unique email aliasses.
I'm a pretty industrial-strength e-mail user, and have been using Fastmail for five years. I have had absolutely zero significant problems. On the small number of occasions when I have a small technical concern, their customer service responds quickly and professionally. Yeah, it costs a little money. In this life, you get what you pay for. For the reliability and privacy you get, it's cheap.
