Fastmail is a great and reliable service focused on privacy, which I really appreciate. The only downsides for me are the lack of built-in email translation and the apps. Both the mobile and Windows a... See more

Fastmail give their users the ability to hide their privacy a bit more than usual, which i absolutely love! They have a clean overview over everything in both the website and their phone app. I can say for sure I am a new customer and safe payer of fastmail.
I've use a large number of email providers over many years, but in my view none of them compare with Fastmail for reliability, innovation, and ease of use. I think it's an absolutely terrific product.
It was my lucky day when I was told about Fastmail and I try to pass that favor along to anyone who seems willing to hear it. I tell them it is the best money I spend all year and I'm more than happy to pay it.
Fastmail provides direct support if one reaches out and I always feel secure and protected with this email service.
I have been using Fastmail for such a long time now that I can’t even remember when I first signed up. It must be over a decade, now.
It’s a great email service, with some nifty features, on top of the “basics” like notes, file storage, calendar, etc.
Lately, they’ve partnered with 1Password to support “masked emails” so that when signing up online you can automatically create an email alias, so if you get lots of spam at that address, you can just disable it. It’s a neat usability enhancement to their email aliases features which I look forward to trying out.
Been a google apps user for years but am sick of the lack of privacy so went looking for a good email provider. I love Fastmail - very flexible, great app, great web app and lots of features like multi-domain support.
Keep up the good work Fastmail
Don't. Pay! Just don't. It's a waste of money, but not the fun kind. For customers from civilised societies, the no refund part is jaw dropping. What the...
If you think you're prepared for what's coming after one month of free trial, think again. "Conveniently", they left out the most important part of the product in the free trial. They boast customer service but they don't tell you that getting in touch with someone who actually has a bleeping clue what they're talking about is like winning the continent-spanning lottery. And the text on their web site is vague bordering fraud. Oh, and have fun finding all the things that doesn't work yet - some even by design! - because there is absolutely no chance that they will ever fix their web and Android apps.
Search and filters/rules is pretty good, though, when you find out the backward way of doing it.
Good luck with your not-fastmail mail provider - because, I repeat: Don't!
I love Fastmail. I've been using their service for years, for my email and calendar service. They've consistently improved the experience with design, performance, and simplicity. Great service.
I've had a Fastmail account for years. And one thing I've come to learn about Google is you get what you pay for and many Google services are free. That usually leaves me free to get a LOT more spam and poor support if have a problem. But Fastmail is unobtrusive, full of features and a bargain for the small yearly price I pay for it. I love that with T-bird, I can move all email from my other email accounts into Fastmail. Very handy if you need to hold onto emails.
Extremely bad, poor security, poor support
I’ve lost contacts, work and money because of this absolute terrible service
Gmail and hotmail are better and more secure
I've been using Fastmail for about 20 years, and I'm very satisfied. Fastmail respects my privacy and is a reliable steward of my important data. The service is fast and uptime is excellent. It's a good value.
The best email service I've ever had!! They actually have customer service...never had CS before, not with MSN, hotmail, gmail, anywhere! I love this email service...They are really the BEST!!
I have been using Fastmail for several years now. It stops spam at the door. No ads either.
Over the years I've had a few little issues and customer service has been available, helpful and prompt in fixing the issues. It's rare these days to find good customer service so Fastmail definitely stands out. I recommend it, well worth the small yearly payment.
We have been using paid Fastmail for 15 years and free prior. Never in your face. New features are timely and useful. Private.
I make use of multi alias emails for various roles. And for spam minimisation whereby when purchasing or subscribing, if any later spam emails to that address I can just delete the alias and create another.
I love aliases! Businesses demand your email address so you can give them an alias instead, so when junk mail pours into that alias you can delete the alias. Lovely!
I've been a Fastmail user for many years, and I love their combination of user-friendlyness and support of standards
Been a Fastmail user for over 15 years, at first as a limited free then a full paying customer. I usually don’t write reviews however Fastmail has been so reliable i decided to. Fastmail is the email service i use for everything important. It has tunable yet highly accurate spam filters plus easy to use rule sets. Ive never had a loss of access and 100% reliability with Fastmail.
Great service, great interface (web and Android app) - clean and uncluttered with no ads obviously, great customer service (really took the time to investigate my issue - which was not an issue with the service - rather than fob me off with standard-type responses, which is so common with other online services).
I particularly love just how configurable everything is and how many advanced settings there are (if you ever want them). You can even code up your own mail rules if you ever need to - although the UI covers almost all situations, including for example use of regular expressions, and filtering by any email header.
I love the sending identities (email addresses) and how you can configure a different signature, save rules etc. for each one and how you can even set up identities to send from a non-Fastmail address (actually using the other service's SMTP sever too).
I love how you can set up the service to collect email from other accounts too (as though it were going to your Fastmail) - again with many options.
Each individual folder can have its behaviour configured, for example auto-purge, hide if empty, team sharing settings, regard email in here as spam (for spam-training purposes) - useful if you use a third-party email client, etc., not to mention folder colour.
There are too many other features to list but I keep finding small gems.
I generally find the whole design and features very thoughtfully put together.
I pay £60 a year (not the cheapest package they offer), mainly so can use my domain for receiving email, and it's well worth the money.
My only fear is they get bought out by some corporate who want to sell to the "mass market" rather than focus on the features that really shine for people who are prepared to stump up money for their email and appreciate this carefully designed service - as well of course as the satisfaction of knowing that the only way they make money is through direct payment from their users.
I absolutely love Fastmail and cant believe it took me this long to switch and find Fastmail.
Their mobile app on the latest version of iOS is just a little slow is the only small downside i can find.
I've been a Fastmail customer for upwards of 20 years, first when they were free and then I continued once they became a paid service. My motto is that you get what you pay for and, with Fastmail, that's a lot!
Ultra secure, ultra fast, ultra reliable email.
We are on the family plan and love it.
I would never consider changing to anything else.
I've used Fastmail since Feb 2004. I love it. I can host domains for email and simple webpages, though the geekier amongst us might be able to do more than I do. Aliases are great to have. It is value for the money from a fabulous company. I am a person who doesn't have much faith in anything, but when I renew Fastmail I do it for 3 years at a time! I'm something of an email fanatic, but have never found anything that could compete with Fastmail.
