Aramex (Fastway), not even worthy of 1 star rating!

Aramex (Fastway) service is certainly not even worthy of even a 1 star review, but it was the lowest possible.

When it's possible to receive a parcel from half way around the world quicker than across Auckland, then there is something wrong with the business infrastructure.

Other courier companies learned valuable lessons from the first NZ lockdown, but it seems that Aramex (Fastway) has not.

Very disappointing, and certainly not a good representation for the businesses who entrust their goods to theses Couriers.

This is so far the worst shipping…

This is so far the worst shipping company I have ever used.
Slow, liers, unhelpful.
A package from Auckland to ahckland, 9 days and STILL COUTING..
At least you want to lose your money and time... Stay away from Aramex

DO NOT USE THIS COURIER. Untrrust ordered large bath robe mens starwars for my son courier said it has been delivered with a photo of my letterbox which means nothing as the iteam wasn't in photo when I emailed and then rang woman said has been delivered into my letterbox I said no that would be impossible as its a full size adult mens bathrobe and the photo is of just my letter box can't do anything she said contact supplier for a refund wow just wow I've searched reviews on this company and reveiw after review all bad clearly my parcel hasn't been delivered and lying seems to be the normal I dont understand how they are still operating clearly they are a fraudulent company

We are a long standing Fastway…

We are a long standing Fastway customer.
You really do want your business partners to succeed as their success is your success.
Unfortunately we seem to experience consistent inconstancies with Fastways with the only shinning light being some of their customer service folk do try to assist. Today alone our team spent over an hour on the phone trying to track north island parcels picked up over 2 weeks ago. Unsure if the Fastways CEO monitors customer reviews!. Perhaps that is part of the issue.

I paid for overnight delivery

I paid for overnight delivery, a present for my grandson, expecting to get my parcel today, which somehow got sent to wrong area, a parcel from Auckland to Wellington, how can someone get that wrong, I’m not happy with this service, should have used Courier Post

Yet another fail by the Dunedin…

Last year I made the mistake of using Aramex because they were suggested by Trade Me. What followed was a fiasco; they repeatedly failed to pick up the parcel; I put it out every morning for a week before they picked it up, and then once they'd done so they left it sitting in their depot. When I went to the depot to enquire the staff member lied to me, claiming that not only did they NOT have it, but also that they'd never picked it up. I ground my teeth and sent a replacement item via Courier Post. Three days after Aramex claimed that they had never collected my parcel they delivered it to the addressee. (The replacement item arrived the next day, and the recipient sent it back to me.)

In January this year Aramex delivered a set of DVDs I'd bought on Trade Me. The wrapping was torn off, and the case smashed. They hadn't even bothered to put a bit of tape on it to hold it all together Fortunately the actual DVDs survived.

Today another parcel arrived; I'd been monitoring it's progress through Aramex's website, and saw that it was listed as being delivered early this morning. There was nothing in my letterbox, but my past experience prompted me to look around. It turned up in the letterbox for an adjacent building that is empty and undergoing renovation. If I'd not had the previous experience of their incompetence I would have instead wasted more time on futile enquiries at their depot.

I strongly advise avoiding giving business to these utterly useless fools.

Aramex have cleaned up their act

These guys are quite impressive and have improved greatly over the past few months - until recently they were the worst courier company, used to be S*itway couriers but they are quite decent now. Better than New Zealand post.

Courier comes early before 8am and it’s overnight most of the time.

There is nothing I dread more than to…

There is nothing I dread more than to see an item I purchased online was sent via Aramex (Slowways).
My packages are never scanned the amount they are meant to be, making the tracking information almost useless, and I can expect to not receive the parcel for over a week.

Nobody should use this service, when they can use courier post or NZ Post for a mere few cents more. and ill generally receive that parcel overnight or two days max.

Waiting for an item to be delivered from Aramex is stress inducing and I cannot recommend them

Worst Courier ever. If you Can call it a Courier Company

My Experiences are Terrible. I wish I could rate a Negative Star.
When I was a Receiver of a Parcel (delivered by Aramex (was named Fastway Back then, I believe the Company is trying to separate them selves from the bad reviews). the Worst Communicators ever. waited more than 7 Working days (they Stated 3-5 [Working] Days)
I have recently sent a parcel (booked through TradeMe). It Was Aramex. No Emails, No Text, No Phone Calls to Confirm the Booking. The "Parcel Tracker" is not even Live. the Parcel is already arrived with the buyer and the "Parcel Tracker" still did not update. my Assumptions is an actual person Manually update every Parcel with a Tracking Number. Not Scan Barcode and System update Automatically.
They Are Clowns, Even the movie "IT" is less Terrifying and has Some Form of Purpose than being a worthless joke.

Found it fast and reliable in Wanganui

Everything I've ever recieved from Fastway has been delivered very quickly. Whether the item be ordered from a company like Briscoes, or Trademe, I notice the item shows up earlier than expected in good condition. Have never had a problem with this service in many years. Am surpised to see it reviewing poorly, I thought it was the best. I am posting from Wanganui.

Delayed service!

Slowest service ever, call centre gives you the run around making excuses for the courier drivers. I will not recommend this courier company they never deliver there promises & good service on time. You will be waiting for Christmas for your delivery.

Aramex (Fastway) couriers have very poor service. I will no be using them again.
I have booked Aramex courier service through Trade Me after I sold the item. I selected a pick-up date available. However, nobody came to pick-up it in next 3days. I have to rearrange a different courier with my extra cost. I have no trust with Aramex.

Should be named Slowway!

Should be named Slowway!! Their tracking site said that it’s already with the courier yesterday and will be delivered that day as well! Buttt.... no package arrived! I rang their office today and they said that it will be delivered today but unfortunately no package arrived!!! I called their customer service again and they said that it will be delivered tomorrow! I don’t know if it’s going to be another lie from them!!! The person who sent it to me is from Auckland I’m from Auckland too!! Why is their service sooooooo slow??? If only I can give a negative star rating! They don’t deserve a 1!!!

My sister was tracking a package from…

My sister was tracking a package from overseas all the way till this courier service got their hands on it. Then aparently they tried to delivered at 5pm and no one was home. Only everyone was home. (Still package has not been delivered). I am also expecting packages and i tracked it to NZ and yes you guesed it, this company had also been used for the delivery, and yes the very same thing has happened to me only a day later, Only my delivery time was "4.20pm" and yes once again we were all home.. Now....me and my sister live 2 houses away from each other. So is this just a thing that your drivers in this area do? Or??? The dumb thing is, i am expecting 1 more package to come from the same company (and we order from them often, I will be letting them know) and i assume they have already used this company to deliver my package.

Slow and absolutely no help from…

Slow and absolutely no help from customer service.
Told to wait and see if it shows up tomorrow 2 days in a row now.
Would not use them for anything urgent again and won't be buying from companies who use Aramex(Fast ways).

Agree with all feedback here.
To avoid frustration and loss of money and time, we will never use aramex/fastway again.
They didn't deliver 8 of our parcels sent on the same day to different locations. We raised enquiry about these. They said they had finished their search for a parcel and it is either lost or damaged in transit and that we arrange refund with the receiver/buyer and submit a claim form. Like they said we did promised the customer that we are refunding and also submitted the form. The next day (after many days) they delivered one of the parcel. It's a plant and it's already dead and useless. Now they say, they won't refund us! Why did they ask us to refund the customer saying the plant is lost or damaged and now say they won't refund ?
Past experience with them are - I sent a parcel to someone. Fastway/aramex put in the wrong address label and delivered our parcel to someone and our buyer got someone else' parcel. Since the label had the correct address, they opened the parcel and was surprised to something else instead of what they are supposed to receive. Likewise someone else received our parcel and opened it. They claimed no responsibility for their mistake.
And many times they misdirected my parcels.
I should have stopped using them earlier. I was regularly using them. Will never use them again.

Horrible experience with Fastaway.

I had two parcels from the same sender. The parcels were delivered on 7 January and they required my signature. I wasn't there to sign so the courier instead of taking them back and leave a note or come back, thought it's ok to sign himself and dump them in the middle of our driveway. Not even the doorstep! I saw the delivery half an hour after it was delivered and one of them was missing of course. I have been back and forth with Fastaway for more than 10 days, giving me vague answers and delaying any resolution (they thought I'd get tired?) and now 10 days later they came back with this 'ok well, we can't help you'. This was the whole email! And this is the level of service they provide...

The longest delivery times & awful service

They say their tracking updates are live but that's a load of BS as it took 5 days for them to show that the parcel had been scanned and on that 5th day it was all of a sudden its in transit between Auckland and Christchurch?? Where were the updates before that?? And why has it been in transit between Auckland and Christchurch for nearly a week with no updates!? So much for live tracking.

Awful online tracking system, lengthy delivery timeframes and rude unhelpful service. Id never use this courier company again!!

Beware of crappy service!

Misdirected to Whanagrei

Ordered marine hose from Connecticut, USA. Took 3 days via UPS to reach Auckland, pretty good. Then Aramax/Fastway took over and misdirected it to Whangarei. Delivered today, one week to get from the Airport to Devonport. Utterly pathetic service.
