Bunch of useless amateurs

Im only giving this review 1 star bcos thats the lowest option available here, it would be a minus 5 if i could do that.
Recently ordered a pair safety boots from Wellington to be delivered to Canterbury which took 12 days. I emailed a representative after 7 days and got no reply which for a few days left me guessing if i was even going to recieve my order at all!!
Aramex/fastways or whatever this bunch of useless amateurs call themselves are a total waste of New Zealanders time and money. I will be refusing to use them EVER again. So should the rest of the entire country!

I would give this company zero stars if…

I would give this company zero stars if that was possible. They are extremely unreliable and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I have given up hope that I will ever receive the item I ordered. I will now no longer buy online from any company that uses Fastway/Aramex for their courier deliveries.

I always cringe when i find a supplier…

I always cringe when i find a supplier has sent a parcel via fastways, there tracking is never up to do and they are famous for losing parcels, what i find worse is the lies, i have been going in to there christchurch office for years chasing missing parcels and the same girl on reception tells people she is just a temp and only been there a few months......years later same girl with same story, the office staff answer phones and tell people they will go out to warehouse and look for there lost parcels then put them on hold while they sit and eat a sandwich they pick up phone and say they found it and it will be to them by 2pm that day then hang up and have a laugh with the co workers. the claims department make it such a massive task to claim I'm sure most people just give up and take the loss. They should be closed down

This has got to be the slowest delivery company on earth today, 2020. They deserve -0 stars because there website is slow asf to.. i will make sure all my parcels are not sent by use... called fastway but slower then a turtle laying in a dessert..🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Appalling customer service from a…

Appalling customer service from a Branch Manager!!!

I am a business owner and I use couriers up to 30 times a week. I thought I would share the love and book Fastway/ Aramex this week for the first time.

The product I ship is perishable and gets squashed if left in the box too long. So I paid for express couriers and booked for 6 parcels to be collected today.

I was told over the phone, they were being collected by 3pm. I called back at 4.30pm and was told the driver was back at the depot and was knocking off for the weekend. They told me they wouldn't be collected until Monday, meaning all the packing I did had to be cut open and re-packed on Monday so the product wasn't squashed all weekend.

The Branch Manager at the Tauranga Depot was perhaps the worst customer service professional I have ever dealt with. She was not sorry, she told me to go through Trademe (who i booked through) for my cancellations and refunds. Her version of cancelling my bookings was yelling out to the driver to not come to my address on Monday.

She didn't care that I said she had lost a new customer who would have spent a significant amount annually with them. She was snarky about the fact I was not a current business account holder. Perhaps if I was she would have treated me like a customer. She then proceeded to hang up on me.

This was a trial before opening a business account, but this will be my last time I ever use Fastway/ Aramex. They have been a monumental waste of my time and money and I'm livid the Branch Manager of my local depot did not give a crap.

I have never experienced anything like it.

Terrible service and still no parcel....!

I ordered something on 6 May and Track and Trace advised it was picked up from Wellington on the 8 May, no further information was given on Track and Trace until 22 May which advised was in Christchurch with courier for delivery. After a few days of not receiving this I lodged a query in 28 May to be advised that this has since been delivered. Tried to contact Aramex to let them know that it hasn’t been delivered (well not to me) but when called it is only automated and couldn’t speak with someone so tried to lodge another query online and was advised I couldn’t as there was already a query on Track number already. So I have contacted company I purchased from they are now trying to look into it for me! I have never had any troubles with any other courier company delivering to my address or such bad service from such a company! I would hope no one would use this company as is just terrible service overall..!

WAITING ON HOLD RIGHT NOW. !!
2/6/20 11-2:30 pm . Still waiting......
3 HOURS 30 minutes so far. :-(
Have had to pick up parcels from their depot before.
As they weren’t competent Enough to deliver.
Have had one parcel sent from US
Made it to New Zealand.
Then they delivered to wrong address.
Never saw it again.
No compensation NO care at all.
Can’t recommend NOT to use them enough.
Fastway you are welcome to answer the phone!!

Still waiting for a parcel that was…

Still waiting for a parcel that was picked up on the 1st May from Rangiora to be delivered to Christchurch which is only 30 minutes away, this was 32 days ago would never use or recommend them to anyone to courier any of their parcels etc.

What business would use this courier

What business would use this courier. You would lose customers. I'm still waiting for my parcel. I didn't realise how bad Fastways is until I looked at reviews.
If my parcel doesn't come this week I will need to re-purchase the animal product for my furbaby and ask for the business to send it through a another courier company.
SO DISAPPOINTING.
A matter of fact giving this company 1 star is still too much.

Shockingly poor customer service

Shockingly poor customer service. I tried to call their contact number to get a quote for an over-sized parcel, but after 30 minutes of waiting - the entire time being informed that I was "first in line" - I had to hang up. Its clear they were just not bothering to answer the phone. Companies like this are why I'm reluctant to buy stuff online these days. The merchants are fine but the couriers they use to save a few dollars are just too much trouble to deal with.

DON'T BOTHER WITH TRACK AND TRACE QUERY; TOO DIFFICULT

On 21 May 2020 I foolishly lodged an enquiry with Aramex regarding the goods I ordered 9 May 2020 from Briscoes which had still not arrived. The tirade of tedious, unprofessional Emails I received from Chloe Merritt at the Palmerston North depot were just outrageous. No answers from her about the location of my parcel, just endless excuses about the volumes of parcels they are required to deliver, and opinions about other courier companies with their lack of business in comparison. One Email from Chloe comprised 27 lines of useless information about the workings of Aramex in an attempt to "educate me".
Thankfully the parcel arrived this morning, 25 May 2020 so am grateful there will be no more communication with Chloe Merritt the keyboard warrior!
Will never use Aramex for courier deliveries.

My parcel has not arrived.
Worst thing is no contact from Fastway after phone calls and online enquiries.
Picked up 8th May Auckland
Now the 24th may, parcel no show to Ferry Road . Clive
Not Fastway at all and no customer service.

Not happy

Not happy, I made a order on the 8th of May, It was picked up from Auckland on the 8th and has been in transit between Auckland to Auckland depots ever since. I have been tracking everyday with no change until today the 19th, My order is now saying it is with the Problem fright team "please contact them for further details.
I have made multiple online enquiries with no response and have been ringing multiple times a day to get a answering machine tell me to enquire online It shouldn't take weeks to get from 1 side of Auckland to the other.

If I could I'd give them 0 stars

If I could I'd give them 0 stars. I've had multiple issues with Fast Way, the first was a couple of months ago with a parcel that just sat in the depot for days, but more recently I ordered a Stove top oven for my mother's 60th from Briscoes and it was never delivered. Supposedly it was delivered last Monday but I was at home and never saw any sign of a van or anything, I assume it's been delivered to the wrong address. I have tried emailing and heard nothing back, tried calling and can't even speak to a human. Will never be using Fast Way again, they can not be trusted.

My package was smashed

My package was left without authority and it was smashed and the package would not be considered breakable. Proceeded to leave an online claim and 5 days later still have not heard anything. Today I have tried to ring their customer service team and have been trying to get through on two occasions one of which was half an hour and I had to hang up - the second phone call is now well over an hour and a message keeps telling me 'one of our customer service agents will be with you shortly'... There is a message playing over and over telling me that they love their new brand but looks aren't everything and that they are focusing on putting people first and delivering excellence in everything they do.

Absolutely Crap Service

Again. absolutely crap response from Aramex regarding my parcel. sent from Christchurch to Tauranga on 5/5 arrived 8/5 sent to Rotorua arrived 11/5 sent back to Tauranga, I dont know why, arrived 18/5 now on its way back to Rotorua. and cant get anyone in Rotorua to answer Phone or messages i have left. to find out if the parcel is there or gone somewhere else. I will advise any company I deal with not to use Aramex
