we are a company in Christchurch where…
we are a company in Christchurch where we have used fastway couriers for the last 8 years for all our deliveries. Now its changed to aramax we have no way to get hold of any customer service staff whatsoever. We believe this is the most unprofessional step a company could take and continue to do despite the ongoing consistent reviews which reflect this.
Will be definitely looking at our other options for this for 2020
Fastway (now Aramex) clearly not coping
Fastway (now Aramex) have been swamped since the country moved to Level 2 but it's how they've handled things that gets them a one star. I'd have gone with a zero If I could.
Once they hit capacity they just kept accepting more packages until they jammed to a halt. No one answers the phone, the "submit an enquiry" thing must be there for a laugh and you just end up feeling totally powerless!
They leave you on hold for 2 hours listening to the same maddening recorded monologue about how wonderful they are, which on a mobile blows your data cap. Which blows.
Cheap though! But you get what you pay for. Poor management, terrible comms, don't use them.

Even at the best of times, Fastway/Aramex is the absolute worst courier service in NZ (and AU apparently). NO communication, no proactivity, no follow-up, no customer service, no deliveries. no nothing.
Clearly, this business is operated by incompetent managers who run and hide when the going gets tough.
I'll bet the owners use it like a personal piggy bank and that moving goods is only the cover for a massive slush fund generator. The government need to investigate this company. IRD, Serious Fraud, you name it.

Aramex the worst courier company in nz, often miss directions send the parcel, often delay, all staff not carry on the parcel with care.send parcel to nationwide will take more than 2 weeks still not delivery. I do not recommend this service and if I could I'd give no stars. I purchased an item from Trademe, continuously tracked my parcel for almost 2 weeks only to find out it had already been delivered. Due to covid-19 level 3, I was home all day, everyday and not once did I see a fastway courier van pull into the driveway, No beep, no knock at my door like previous successful parcels I had ordered and recieved through "courier post" no nothing. I appreciate and am grateful for the essential workers and all they do/have done risking their health and well-being during this pandemic but.... I did not recieve my parcel, I have made contact with this service enquiring about my item, answered all the details they asked for when making my enquiry and to this day I have not heard anything back from them about my missing package. Very disappointed in this service

The worst thing a company can do is become uncommunicative under pressure and this is precisely what Aramex have decided to do. Like many others I'm awaiting delivery of an order from Auckland to Wellington and this is the second attempt by the supplier to send the goods (first package, picked up May 4th, was "misplaced" by Aramex). For the second package, collected Friday last week, their so called "tracking" tells me the parcel is constantly "In Transit between Auckland and Wellington. Attempts to submit an enquiry have had NO response at all. We all understand the Covid crisis causes delays and huge volumes to deal with. But I would say that for any company in NZ right now this problem is far preferable to those who are staring closure in the face... c'mon Aramex, do the right thing and sort this mess out!
HI Guys
HI Guys - is there anyone out there at Amarex? We are a commercial business and have been dealing with Amarex for nearly 2 years. We have had no pick up for the last 2 days. We are ringing our courier, head office, account manager and no one is answering their phone. What is the point of us loading more orders on your software if you have no intention of picking up. We have orders going to pharmacies and now will have to deliver these our selves and drive in to Penrose for the rest of the orders.
If you cannot pick up and deliver because you are over committed please put a message on your phone, web site and Fastbook page.
I know you are really under pressure but please communicate so we know what to do.

Unable to make any form of contact regarding a package that’s scanned as sitting on the local courier for 3 days an undelivered here in Upper Hutt ?? Have sent a inquiry an no response as of yet 😐 come on guys , you could it least have your phones on .
Super Slow-Way
Been waiting for 2 weeks now for the delivery they picked up from the sender on 1 May and up to this stage the parcel is still currently in transit between their 'Wanganui' and 'Christchurch' depots. I am not sure what mode of transportation they are using - sea freight, thru land or by foot.
Useless
Useless. I was out while they came to deliver my parcel. They didn't bother leaving a calling card. They didn't bother updating the tracking status. They don't bother responding to online inquiries. They don't bother.
I have no way of knowing where my parcel is or how to get it.

I am so upset with this company
I am so upset with this company. I have someone's parcel on my doorstep that has been incorrectly delivered to my address. I cannot get hold of anyone on the phone - I have been trying for days now to speak to someone. The recipient of this parcel must be equally as frustrated as their parcel must be deemed to be lost.
I am also waiting for a Trade Me purchase to arrive ( 10 days now) and the seller informs me the has contacted Aramex and the parcel may be lost. There is absolutely no info on their tracking website. No words!!!!!

I would give this company a zero if I could. I have been waiting for 3 items to be collected since April 30th. I live in metropolitan Auckland so there is no excuse really. I appreciate there is a lot of online items being dispatched but other companies are getting through. Appalling customer service via phone and email - no contact whatsoever. They may have re-branded but they are more like Slow-Way/No-Way. I will never, ever use them again. Pay the extra and go with a reliable company if you want to get your parcels in a timely manner.

Ridiculously slow
Absolutely shocking service. Apparently they are very busy and that's the reason I am still awaiting, after 10 days, two parcels coming from Auckland to Christchurch . I wonder if they have ever thought of hiring a few more staff??
Appalling service
Appalling service. No tracking on tracked item as they have run out of labels. A week on parcel still sitting on pallets with hundreds of other untracked items. Can't even collect as to many to search thru. Bunch of clowns with no customer focus. Avoid. Napier branch.
10 days later and still waiting -
Seriously 10 days later and we are still waiting for a delivery of goods. Have had to order further product and have sent to site where our guys are working as they left before product turned up. Needless to say requested our supplier use a different courier and they had product overnight. We are still awaiting the original order of 28 April - its now 8 May. I have just learnt another package has been sent via Slow-way Couriers. Sent two days ago and still not in their system for tracking. Whatever you do do not use this company - they are worse than useless
