A positive review in amongst the negative.

Our local Aramex (formerly Fastway) team have been exceptional every time we have used them. We are in Palmerston North. Every Courier company has its’ issues, but for us Aramex and NZ Couriers have the best logistics chains.

At the time of writing, for us, NZPost are by far the most unreliable in regards to delivery targets, and Aramex the best.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. They didn't pick up the package in a week. I called every day and every day they said they were going to come the next day. I didn't even get a refund

Poor service

I’ve been waiting for a parcel since end of November last year.
Gist of my experience:-
Lack of communication and parcel being sent back to supplier.
Supplier sent the parcel back and I’m still waiting for delivery. Tried contacting them, not response.
This make me want to stop online shopping.

I have used fast way (slow way) many…

I have used fast way (slow way) many times in the past but their recent service or lack of it leaves a lot to be desired.
I currently have been waiting four days for them to pick up a parcel from Wellington to be delivered to Christchurch normally a three day service. I have been palmed off numerous times by their so called customer service personnel.
In future I will NEVER use this utterly useless company again!!

WARNING never use this company.

WARNING never use this company.
October sent items from chch to hamilton were told items were covered by insurance. Items were recieved broken, filed a claim for cost plus freight $564 and was promptly told items were not covered. Out of pocket $564 and still trying to get some resolution. I've just been ignored, calls and emails not returned, just so disrespectfull. We are or I should say were their customers and will never have anything to do with this company again and will never recomend them to anyone. By the looks of all the negitive feed back about fastway/aramex, should have used nz couiers.

Worst courier company I have ever dealt…

Worst courier company I have ever dealt with. It has just taken them 6 days to deliver a small package between Auckland and Wellington area. Rang them after 2 days to enquire as tracking had not been updated, was told that package was ready for pickup and delivery by driver and would be delivered late that day or following morning which was a Saturday but driver was working to clear a backlog. Monday was a holiday so rang them again Tues afternoon and was told driver was “in the area” and would be there shortly. Did not turn up so called them again Wed morning and was told driver was “just around the corner”, did not specify which corner ! Finally arrived shortly after, driver did not ring door bell and I did not hear any knock, aren’t they supposed to get a signature ? Also contrary to Fastway policy the courier was not dressed in company’s uniform and drove an unmarked white van. I have suggested to my trader that he should drop Fastway, aka Sloway. By comparison I ordered another item from Auckland on Sat at 1700 which was despatched via Courier Post on Mon afternoon and arrived before 1000 on Tues. Good on Courier Post, always prompt and reliable.

I purchased a generator from trade me…

I purchased a generator from trade me and paid $85 for rural delivery from Auckland to Otatara which is a suburb of Invercargill. I arrived home from work and my daughter gave me a card from Fastways that read sorry we missed you etc. My daughter said the lady said the parcel weighed 40 kg and I would have to come into town to pick it up. I looked on the track and trace and it said with courier for delivery and then 2 minutes later said ' we attempted to deliver your parcel and now hold it at our office awaiting delivery instructions. I dont know how to reply but ' next time you stop your van two meters from my front door take the parcel and put it on the step or ask the person who was present at the house where to put it" Will never use them ever again worst customer service ever.

Fastway is the worst courier Service in…

Fastway is the worst courier Service in NZ! Lazy and dishonest drivers. Unhelpful customer representatives.
For 3 days i have waited for my parcel to be delivered. For 3 days they have been saying that they attempted delivery but no one was home. In fact, i have been home daily for the past month due to medical reasons! They said the driver knocked. I did not hear anything. The doorbell was not rung either. The driver on the third delivery attempt was adamant that he dropped by and knocked- so i asked him what colour our door was- of course! he could not answer me because he did not see it! Our front stands out and he would not just have forgotten it after 2 hours of seeing it. In the end, i had to pick up the parcel myself. Poor service! I will never avail their service again.

Missing Delivery

These would be the worst courier service in the country.
I ordered something from Australia for my partners Xmas present and got told it would be delivered to me on the 30 or 31st December. When I track it , it was delivered to me on the 31st but no sign of package. I sent an email 6-1-2020 & no response, rang on 6th and got told someone will get back to me. NOTHING!
Spoke to Hayley on the 9th in customer service to be told that the courier who normally runs the van had engaged a temp to do work for him and they would talk to the owner and still NO RESPONSE.
Currently on the phone waiting for customer service to answer and now running at 25 minutes waiting for call pick up! SHOCKING!!!!!!

It would seem Aramax has been able to…

It would seem Aramax has been able to take over a really bad company and make it even worse, so far 1 week to get a small parcel from New Plymouth to Auckland. Speaking to the various gents at the call centre in Mumbai doesn't seem to yeild any answers either.

Yet again let down not very quick

Yet again let down not very quick. I ordered a parcel from Dunedin on Monday 6th Jan the lady in Nelson depot said should of been over night if not 2 days. They only now just scanned the package most likely won't get it now to Monday.

3rd time let down by the Nelson depot the depot is only 12 min drive from me.

NZ Post - Courier Post much better and more reliable

I give them a negative 10,🤬 Item was picked up from palmerston north on 3rd jan delivered today 10th jan WOW 7 days this is poor service and believe me,this is not the 1st time try the 4th parcel delivered a week late. you can ring/email fastways napier they dont respond, they really dont care, no sorry no nothing , SO if you buy online always check who there courier company is with, i forgot this time and look what happens...You can change your name all you want but your'll always be 🐌 Slowways to me, hopefully I won't have to deal with this 💩company again, i dont support continuously poor customer service

My parcel was picked up
On the 27th dec from rotorua, destination Palmerston otago. Its now the 9th jan and my parcel has been sent twice to palmerston north!! And lm still waiting. Maybe these people need to learn more about NZ and theres more to us than the north island!!! Absolutely disgusting to pay $15 postage for this useless service. SORT IT OUT

CONTACT WHOEVER SENDS WITH THEM & COMPLAIN

I live in Nelson and have had contact with both the head office of who sent my item and fastways. Sadly it got escalated but not delivered even though fastways headoffice assured me it would be delivered by midday, huh if only!, this item is like a few others - picked up 27th n it got to the local depot on 30th before midday n has just sat there n can’t even call them which is possibly because of the phone calls they have had as complaints must’ve been coming through. The only way to fix this is by complaining to whoever uses these guys and recommending that they don’t use them or ask for them to get the head office of fastways to be contacted to contact u because sadly it is a franchise n obviously some franchisees are so lazy they don’t deserve to make a living!

Package is traveling on the back of a Snail

Package was picked up in Christchurch 27/12/19 it still hasn’t arrived parcels from two other courier companies that were picked up 29/12/19 arrived on 31/12/19
Fast way are amateurs who wil regret treating there customers like tiko‘ you aren’t the only courier service dumb dumbs

Fastway couriers shocking service I ordered seafood from Whangaei frozen minced paua the Vader phoned fastway who assured him overnight delivery would get to Rotorua on the 31st December it only made it as far as Auckland when some moron at the courier depot decided it was to big to go on the van its 2kg of minced paua for new years day and birthday thanks for ruining our whanau ,s new year we spend the day at the lake enjoying our kids and mokos swimming and having fun having a nice kai guest it's just sausages now but fastway dont care just making money and not delivering crooks
